Pops
Pops joins Nyana and Petros on the bridge. He strains to see from atop the bridge for any signs of Klarg or Sven or Brats downstream. He grumbles inaudibly and spits into the water.
If there are any signs of a light source around the corridor ahead, he stealthily moves forward, carefully seeing what's around the corner. Stealth: 8 Perception: 10
Sven yells aloud angrily as the wolves attack him that he was trying to set free but regains his composure, still holding the chain he just pulled out of the rock he draws in the length of the chain and yanks hard on it when he feels he could toss the wolf on the other end by the neck.
Second Wind: 9 regaining health as he regains his composure and pushes through the pain.
Strength to overpower the wolf with the chain it is attached to : 6 Add 2 to that if it could be considered Athletics And if I could be considered having advantage because the chain is literally attached to the wolf (I'm assuming by the neck) : 5

The cavern curves pretty well, but you can make out a little bit of the entrance. You do not see anything near the mouth of the cave. The path leading west is pitch black.

Petros
Petros continues down the path to the west, heading towards what he assumes is another room filled with goblins. He does his best to stay close to the cave wall as he makes his way down the path. Stealth: 12. Petros slowly inhales, tasting the stale air that is trapped in this horrible cavern with him. The edges of his vision are starting to blur. Stress and the intense focus required to survive are taking their toll on his constitution. "You can do this," Petros whispers to himself as he takes one more step forward.

This large cavern here is divided in half by a ten-foot-high escarpment, most of the high escarpment you cannot see. A steep natural staircase leads from the lower portion to the upper ledge on the west side. The air is hazy with the smoke of a cooking fire, and pungent from the smell of poorly cured hides and unwashed goblins. Since you can speak goblin, you know they are talking about food. You also assume there are at least 5 or 6, maybe more, goblins here.
1. What should we be keeping track of? I'm learning this on the fly from our adventures to date, but I'm guessing it's our responsibility to determine or keep track of: - Our equipment, loot, etc. - Whether we are hit or not by an enemy attack - Our hit points, and when we hit 0 ... I'm sure there's other stuff, too (spell slots, etc.) But am I accurate so far? What important stuff did I miss?
2. Also a specific question about my character class... When will Sneak Attack become available to me, as a Rogue?
OCC: 2. Also a specific question about my character class... When will Sneak Attack become available to me, as a Rogue?
Thanks!)
OOC: PHB says Beginning at 1st level, you know how to strike subtly and exploit a foe’s distraction. Once per turn, you can deal an extra 1d6 damage to one creature you hit with an attack if you have advantage on the attack roll. The attack must use a finesse or a ranged weapon.
You don’t need advantage on the attack roll if another enemy of the target is within 5 feet of it, that enemy isn’t incapacitated, and you don’t have disadvantage on the attack roll.
The amount of the extra damage increases as you gain levels in this class, as shown in the Sneak Attack column of the Rogue table.

[OOC: You already have sneak attack but you can only use it if you have advantage on the target or it’s engaged with another party member.
[OOC: I'm so sorry Sven xD You shouldn't of followed me haha]
OOC: It is what it is. Sven wouldn't have left his compatriot alone. I also shouldn't have been stupid and waded in like an idiot trying to be awesome. Should just been a murderhobo and killed the wolf while it was on the chain. I can live with my RP choices.
Pops (Some questions, at the risk of posting out of turn...
Is the bridge wooden? How is it attached to the wall? Are their guard rails? Can the bridge be easily detached from the wall, or the guardrails removed? Can the bridge be set ablaze with a flask of oil?
Pops glances around quickly, considering fast and silent ways to booby-trap or obstruct the bridge. (Ball bearings and a missing rail? String trip-wire?)
Has the water subsided yet? How high is the bridge above the water?
(I can wait my turn and roll Investigation, if you like...)
”Maybe we should wait for the others or go back and see if they are ok? We have not seen or heard from them in a while. I’m not sure we can take this fight alone.” Ny looks to Petros and Pops. “What ever you decide I am with you.” Nyana stands at the ready. Prepared to fight or follow back through the cave.
Ready Action
[OOC: Sorry guys! I did not realize it was my turn.]
Pops mutters quietly to Nyana and Petros, "Maybe we can drop down from the bridge, or circle around through that northern exit. We'll see if this corridor will take us to the others. I'd rather not go back down that blasted hole. But right now I'm a little concerned about the voices down this western tunnel."
(OCC - More newbie questions, sorry: 1) Is it cool to speak to the others, or ask observational questions ("How high is the bridge?") out-of-turn, or would it take an action, or is it just annoying? 2) I find "Ready Action" confusing, even though I've read the rules. What did Nyana do in this last post, exactly? )
[OOC: I am basically waiting to do what you guys do. It’s up to our DM if I can use such a vague ready but my theory is I am waiting to see what you guys wanna do and following that. If a goblin comes around the corner right now I am ready to attack it and can attack it during your turns or if we decide to jump off the bridge I am ready to make an athletics roll and follow you.
Basically just trying to keep from getting split from you guys since my turn is so much further behind. I chose to do nothing this turn and follow you during yours. ]

Petros returns to the bridge and takes a seat, letting his legs dangle out over the rushing water. "I think we better go find Brats and Sven," Petros gestures towards the newly discovered cavern, "I have a feeling we are outmatched without them. I bet we can follow the stream back towards the entrance past where we saw those two wolves. Let's hope they are still chained up!"
