Brats

Brats, somehow getting lost from the group will have ended up behind them. Watching the altercation go down he will have taken out his longbow and notched an arrow, drawing it back and taking aim at the closest Redbrand.

Attack: 10 Damage: 7

Nyana attempts to burn the leader with a sacred flame. Redbrand 1 tries to dodge out of the way of the flames. 12 Redbrand 1 is very nimble and able to evade most of the damage from the magical flames. 

Bratz, who got lost in town, comes across the group in the middle of a fight. He had just seen Pertos punched in the face. An arrow flies toward the Redbrand 1 but passes by the Redbrands. 

"You all are gonna pay for that." Redbrand 1 will take two swings at Petros with his sword. 

Attack: 21 Damage: 6 

Second attack: 14 Damage: 1

Both attacks miss. Redbrand 1 must be preoccupied with the arrow tip still in his chest.

Redbrand 2 makes his way over to Pops and try to run him through with a sword. 

Attack: 8 Damage: 8 

Redbrand 2's attack glances off of Pops armor. 

Redbrand 3 watches as Bratz arrives and shoots an arrow. "Stop that you little gnome! Mind your business." 

Attack: 10 Damage: 6 

Second attack: 5 Damage: 3 

Redbrand 3 fells Bratz with two big hits against the small adventurer.

Those attacks have downed Brats.

Sven

Sven is going to pull out his Halberd and step up to reach range with Redbrand 1 "You think you're clever? I think you're obnoxious!" And Sven jabs his halberd at him in a flash of the tip and tries to bring the butt of it up against the side of the Redbrands head. He then steps back about 5 feet preparing for anyone to come at him.

Halberd Attack: Attack: 16 Damage: 4

Polearm mastery Attack: Attack: 15 Damage: 4

OOC: just noticed I only added +3 not +5 to hit on both of those attacks. But I don't think it matters.

No penalties. You just can't do it in one turn. You'll have to sheath it this turn and draw at the beginning of your next turn. 

You can also interact with one object or feature of the environment for free, during either your move or your action.

Petros

Petros watches in horror as Brats falls at the hands of the redbrand. "No!" Petros takes a step toward redbrand 3 and pulls out his trusty lute.

Petros will cast Hideous Laughter targeting Redbrand 3.

Sven's attack is a bloody one. The jab to the gut hits him and Redbrand 1 doubles over. Then another strike from the blunt heel of the halberd splits open the Redbrand's head. He falls to the ground and the dirt begins to soak up the blood. 

Pops, in close quarters with Redbrand 3, is unable to land an attack against him. Pops finds nothing but air with his shortsword but comes back with an attack from his dagger. The Redbrand is able to easily dodge the slashing. 

Petros fast draws his lute and hits Redbrand 3 with a bardic spell. DC 13 save: 14 

Redbrand 3 is just able to shake off the effects of the bard's spell.

(Well, if I get a redo,  Pops will do that - put away his bow.)

Also, without disengaging, Pops backs up down the road toward town, attempting to draw his opponent away from the others.

(Everyone: let me know if there's something I should - or can't - do, here! Still learning the rules, and my rogue class, too.)

(I'll give it to you for this round if you'd like to keep it how you played it. There's a caveat where you can drop your bow, then draw another weapon in the same turn. since dropping something is a free action.)

(Fair enough - Pops drops his bow in the dirt, and whiffs the air embarrassingly with his blades as above.)

Nyana

Ny turns towards where Brats now lies on the ground unconscious. “BRATS! Not again! ” She quickly starts muttering to herself. She reaches towards the sky as a bolt of light shoots from the heavens and pools in her hands. She plants her feet and makes eye contact with the thug who attacked brats. “You could have just let my friend pass. You will pay for what you have done! ” She thrusts her arms towards the thug launching a bolt of light towards him. As soon as the bolt leaves her hands she looks to Brats. “Return to us! This battle is not yet over! ” With a wave of her hand a golden mist surrounds the unconscious body of Brats. With each shallow breath he takes in more life. 

Guiding Bolt Attack: 25 Damage: 28

BA: Healing Word 7

I guess I messed up the attack roll... 12

(That attack roll was spot on. It was a critical hit.)

Critical Hits

When you score a critical hit, you get to roll extra dice for the attack’s damage against the target. Roll all of the attack’s damage dice twice and add them together. Then add any relevant modifiers as normal. To speed up play, you can roll all the damage dice at once.

For example, if you score a critical hit with a Dagger, roll 2d4 for the damage, rather than 1d4, and then add your relevant ability modifier. If the Attack involves other damage dice, such as from the rogue’s Sneak Attack feature, you roll those dice twice as well.

Nyana bolt of magical light streaks across the area you all are. Redbrand 3 is hit in the chest by the force as it tears through, leaving a fist-sized hole clean through his chest. He is able to quickly scream out before collapsing dead. Bratz is able to come back to consciousness, gasping for air where he lay. 

Redbrand 2, after seeing the wrath they have brought upon themselves, turns tail and runs east down the path. "I'm sorry, I don't want to die!" He will make it about 60 feet from the group. Pops will be able to take an opportunity attack if you'd like.

OOC: Not sure how charging works, would I be able to get an attack in on the Redbrand?

You could keep up, but your action would be dashing. There’s no “charging” in 5e like previous editions.
