There's three people dressed in similar garb speaking in monotone voices "You need to repent" "You're darkness is a curse" "Follow us and be cleansed" They are arrayed around two other figures shouting "You pious ********! Leave us alone" "Were not joining you're ******* cult!"

Mimzy shakes her head and shrugs... it's always something, she thinks to herself. Not really wanting to get involved she groans as she rolls her eyes and thinks... what hell and casts Calm Emotions looking to calm them all the hell down and see if she cannot make them all feel indifferent about each and lose interest... in whatever this is!

@Mat - Skip does actually hold some sway in the town and dropping his name along the way you get a 20% discount so you find it for 240. (what healing potions do you get? just curious)

@Dox - The gnome puffs "Time and attention! You hear that! I'm worth his TIME and ATTENTION!" Chuckling as he walks to the back of the room he looks over his shoulder "I daresay I am" Reaching down to open up an ornate chest on the floor he raises his eyebrow "So let's talk of terms" reaching into the chest he pulls out a thick bloody steak and tosses it to the dog; who snatches it out of the air and begins savaging it.

"I give you equipment and in return you give me half of all your winnings."

"You give me stuff, I don't pay. You get half of my winnings in the tournament. Do I understand right,  because if so we have a deal. I want a sword, shield and armor, mostly that sword (pointing) but everything helps "

 In one of those wonderful times where you feel like the pixie dust is serving your whims you cast and voices get lower, and calmer, drifting away and the birds can be heard once again.

Before heading out for the day, Halleck, over a nice slow breakfast looks around, and noticed that he hadn't seen Creed yet. Going up to the innkeeper he'll ask "Have you seen my other friend yet?" giving a rough description of Creed to explain which. "He often sleeps late, but it's time to get on gettin' on..."

Mimzy looks at the Pixie flittering about near the birdies and smiles, "I guess that is that then! Easy peasy, nice and easy," she chirps and continues walking along aimlessly... wherever, no place, in particular, singing aloud as she continues to press on only stopping along the way to sniff any roses she happens to encounter along the way!!!

"Oh ho, Look at the BIG man making demands on me! Well at least you have a sack on ya'" He slams the chest close "Gul, explain how it works"

Turning back to Dox "Now get the **** out and make me some money!"

Gul grabs you by the arm and starts leading you out.

"Make YOU money? You've done nothing for me. Gear for winnings that's what I heard. I just offered to buy on top of that." Dox shakes off Gul and stands. "Deal with me, I barely know her. Never met anyone offended by gold. Give me clear terms and an offer,  dont piss on my leg and say its raining.  What do you have that I'd want in exchange for HALF my purse?"

You hear what sounds like contained laughing coming from the guards by the door.

Gul can't suppress her mirth and barks out a laugh.

The gnome stares at you blankly for a second then looks disappointed "Dammit Gul, why can't you bring me someone more gullible one of these times! No one ever believes my gangster shit! It's because I'm a gnome isn't it?" He makes his way back to his chair looking dejected "Well at least I know you've got fight in ya!"

"So the offer is this. I will give you the armor for half your winnings in the games. That does put all the risk on me because I haven't seen you fight, but whether you place or not I'll still be taking outside bets on you and should make a decent amount of coin. The sword I will sell to you for 800. I think you'll find that a reasonable offer. Should you place at the games one of my Minotaur friends here will find you to collect."

"Are those terms acceptable to you?"

Meanwhile Mimzy is having a grand time strolling the streets and finds that as she passes people they smile, or bow, a couple let out whistles and all are generally left in a better mood for her passing.

At the inn Skip says to Halleck "No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't seen him yet this morning. Would you like me to send someone to fetch him?"

"Armor for half my winnings in the games and sword for 800 is a deal" Dox immediately hands over the coin. 

(What armor did I agree to?)

Halleck will reply "I'm sure he's just hungover again... I'll go get his ass outa bed."

Halleck will then head up, knock, and then walk in to wake up his band member.

((btw... did we figure out what I bought from Zen (chill name btw) last night? Looking for the d&d equivalent of weed or shrooms for a walk through the forest. Gonna stick with what I know~))

ooc: I wasn't able to finish the drug list yesterday because of that mess with the burst pipe. I'll get done today or at least the effects for those 2 and the pixie dust.

Opening the door to Creed's room you're immediately assaulted with a strong coppery smell. Walking into the room you find Creed and and woman you don't recognize laying in a pool of blood on the bed.

"****" Halleck will immediately say under his breath. perception 27. What else does he notice?

It's a pretty gruesome scene. You can see that Creed has been mutilated in a most unpleasant way and both have been stabbed repeatedly. There's evidence in the room of a good time. Clothes flung haphazardly and empty bottles. Upon careful inspection you can see that one of the woman's fingers has indentations as if a ring had once been there. You can see that there are bloody hand prints in a few places in the room and on the door. It doesn't look like anything of Creeds was taken though. Like whoever did this left in a hurry.
