"We must be swift to avoid becoming trapped. I can hold the door to ensure we can maneuver out of a corner. Will someone hold it with me? Or should we use that against them and have some of us enter each room to trap them within?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Randael readies his weapon, placing himself towards the back of the group so he can provide covering fire for all. "Should we risk rushing in if there are traps? Maybe it would be better for us to try and draw them out or their room to use our space and numbers advantage?"
"Hold yer sails a minute...I has had my thinking brain on!"
((Id like to take a minute for Primeval awareness, since they talked about Dragons, it would be good to know if there is actually one nearby.))
Primeval Awareness
As an action, you can expend one ranger spell slot (1 minute per level of spell slot) to sense whether any aberrations, celestials, dragons, elementals, fey, fiends, or undead are present within 1 mile of you (or within up to 6 miles if you are in your favored terrain). This feature doesn’t reveal the creatures’ location or number.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Well Lads shall we begin." Graymar steps forward after all the more perceptive fellows find the more dangerous areas. "3rd door on the left sound like a plan to me" readying his battleaxe.
Randael takes a minute to focus, calling on his connection with the earth to expand his awareness of the creatures nearby. No aberrations, no celestials, no elementals, no fey, no fiends, no undead... but there is a draconic presence in these mountains. You don't know how many or how close, but it's definitely there.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Current Characters: Tailine, Tiefling Rogue 2 - Zanoliv
You all make some noise getting into position and hear a voice say "What was that?" as you throw the door open. Inside this rather plain looking room you are confronted with two armed humans and several Kobolds who all go for their weapons. I need initiative!
(Sorry about the wait on this!)

Initiative: 14
((What sort of cover rules do you run for Line of Sight? I think when you run maps, it needs to be a little stricter on positioning etc. Also, no worries for time taken. Appreciate the effort you put in.))
((Still waiting on innitiative rolls from Leon & Fealton, right?
@jaydee, I am all in favour of DM rolls for PC's to keep things moving, so if I'm ever holding up action - cos real life happens for folks - feel free to roll or take an action on my behalf.))

( Going to go ahead an roll for Leon and Fealton to keep things moving along)
Leon: 3
Fealton: 17
Kobolds: 14
Human Bandits: 8
Lucky: 23
Human Bandits: 19
Raldean: 14
Graymar: 13
Fealton: 10
Kobolds: 6 (+2 Dex)
Vengalyn + Leon: 6 (+0 Dex)
For Line of sight: I don't have very strict rules for this so if there's a direct line between your character and the enemy you can hit them.
Lucky Silver is up first! There is a human man in leather armor in your line of sight pulling a scimitar from his belt and you can hear several other creatures around the corner in the room.
[sorry, didn’t see the notification, thought it was awfully quiet XD ]
Without hesitation, Lucky mutters some draconic words and the tip of the wand at his right, seems to crystallize with ice until a beam of blue light arcs towards the human 6 to deal 7 Of cold damage if his ray of frost hits.
As the ray zooms past, Lucky’s small frame runs to the edge of the chamber door for cover, his other wand ready just in case.

That brings us to the Human Bandits. The first one runs up into melee with Leon and tries to hit him with his scimitar.
Scimitar Attack: 5
He finds a gap in Leon's armor dealing 6 slashing damage. The other Bandit moves into the space the other bandit just left and fires a crossbow bolt at the already wounded Leon.
Crossbow Attack: 15
However the bolt will deflect off of one of Leon's pauldrons, dealing no damage.
That brings us to Raldean. You can see the bandit that's in melee with Leon pretty clearly from where you are. You could step into the spot Lucky Silver just left to see both bandits.

Raldaen looks at the group, bunched up outside of the door. Normally he would try to take out the ranged attacker first, but feeling the importance of allowing the front line to push forward, he halds his position, and takes a bead on the human that has just struck Leon. He fires off once, quickly reloads his crossbow, and lets another bolt fly!
((2nd attack @ same target, unless dead, when he'll move to see the enemy with a crossbow and fire at him.))
Attack: 15 Damage: 9
Dread Ambusher (Special)
You add your WIS modifier (+3) to initiative rolls. At the start of your first turn of each combat, your walking speed increases by 10 ft., which lasts until the end of that turn. If you take the Attack action, you can make one additional weapon attack that deals an extra 1d8 damage of the weapon’s damage type on hit.
Attack: 27 Damage: 7 + 8
((Whoop! First attack is a nat 20! Time to go downhill from here.))
