Truk gives the Helmsman another solid pat on the back "Sure did! Thanks!" He coils up the 15' of rope the captain gave him and puts it in his pack and makes his way below decks to find Gustov. Finding him below decks talking to an interesting looking woman he pauses briefly thinking he doesn't want to cramp the old cats style but seeing the food plows his way on in. Grabbing whatever food is closest with one hand he puts the other on Gustovs' shoulder "You will not believe the fun I've been having! I'll tell you all about but first who's your friend?" Not waiting for an answer Truk extends his hand to the woman Gustov is talking to. "Hi, I'm Truk DenShield. Pleased to meet you! Has Gustov been fillin your head with stories? He does that sometimes. Most of em are pretty good too!"

Era leaned back a little in her chair as he rambled, but still remained in, what others would say, their 'personal bubble', seeing as he truly didn't mind. Many people would have backed away from her sudden closeness (other then drunk and randy men), so she couldn't help the smile appearing on her face. What a cool cat! Though, when he tried to recall her father (if he had met him anyway), her smile fell into a frown. Maybe he has some memory problems? He looks a little older...
"O-oh, ah," The genasi managed a soft smile again. "Thank you for trying, Gustav, haha. I hope you remember, but my name is Era, and speaking of giant grey men--" She says as she hears heavy footsteps coming down the stairs, perking up to look over and and confirm that it was indeed his dear friend Truk joining them, then pointing out the giant as he came to the pair. "You're talking about him, correct?" Her smile grows wider once Truk had introduced himself to her. Two gentlemen! She takes his hand (his practically engulfing her soft small one) and gives him a mighty shake! Or as much as she could truly muster!

Turk feeling her mighty shake is impressed. "Era! What a fine handshake! Gustov was saying nice things about me? Well he's a good egg even if he is scrambled sometimes!" He laughs at his own joke. "I have to tell you guys what I saw when I was hanging off the back of the boat! I was thinking maybe I'd see some fish for you." Smiling at Gustov "Sorry, I didn't see any fish but I saw something else. Something huge. It was orangish and white and it kind of slithered in the water." Looking between Era and Gustov "Anyone know what it is?"

When the conversation was over, everyone would eventually retire to bed in whatever form they chose, whether they all slept separately, or if a few bunked in the same room, and such. Many of the sailors also headed to bunks on this floor, filled with sailors. Not a single Sailor went below deck. However, the guard shift did change, as the prior guards swapped out, for new guards.

The next day Was overcast, but it didn't seem to be building to a storm, however it did help keep the oppressive heat of the sun off of everyone. The view was less than spectacular because of this as well. Seagulls flew along with the ship as the sails were raised, and the ship resumed its course -the Helmsman did have to rest afterall!- and at the bow was the captain, near the long pole that stuck out of every proper ship, he seemed to be deep in thought, if anyone came above decks. The crew milled about their duties bored, but efficient. Cleaning the deck from salt, debris, and other weathering.

Past...
Gustav's own smile wavered as her falters and left him even more confused. He starts trying to slyly look around for Truk, but stops to follow her words. The tension immediately falls away at the familiar face and just nods: unable to find the words. And with it, the far off look behind the smile faded away. "Oi! I am not that addled! I just get lost in my own head is all."He proclaims first before sticking out his tongue in defiance. "Now what's this about a slithering orange fish? Sure it was a sea serpent--"The growing smile behind his voice and expression both disappear as he narrowed his eyes so much, his caterpillar brows practically cover them.
"More importantly. Now this is something coming from your 'ol pal here, but... Why in the world were you--"Then his eyes widen again before a mreowl comes out as he glances to the sailors gathering around for their meal. "Ne'remind. I think I know. Now get me a second to have a think."And thus, he has himself a think on the creature, trying to discern any known creatures of the sort with a few half-muttered words that sounded almost like prayers again.
"And so it was their eyes were open, and their spirits tempered by the truth."One was such line.
Nature: (3)25 (If Arcana would be better, add another +3 to the roll).
"See anything else funny out there too?"
When they later retired, Gustav bunked with Truk. Surprising the giant not, the cat had to check the room over once, and even set up a wire bell trap by the door and windows.
Present:
Noone ever sees the cat. By the grace of his god and that of his ancestors his every step had been placed with such precision and timely perfection as he moved across the deck to the captain. He stands there for at least a good few seconds, snout just near an ear, but breathing silent until ready to speak. "Sorry to disturb you, my good captain."He stated frankly and just loud enough for the captain to here. By the time the captain turns to look, Gustav is a good three feet, calm as a cucumber instead of appearing winded by any sudden movement. He waggles his fingers and smiles toothily. "But may I have a word."He asks pleasantly enough, but the carefree air of the day prior isn't there. Not really.
Unless followed -- unlikely as that may be -- Gustav is alone during this sudden morning meeting. A note had been left behind for Truk to find whenever he awakens.
Past: Truk would explain the rest of what he saw in the captains quarters. Saying that he's not sure why the captain would have manacles in his cabin but that he doesn't trust him again. After eating a full meal and chatting with Era to find out why she came aboard he'll turn in with Gustov.
The Captain, lost in his own thoughts is completely caught off guard, literally jumping in his boots at the sudden voice next to him where before no one had existed. Looking around, he see's the crew everywhere and wonders 'ow the 'ell did he git 'ere wifout a single person noticin him in broad daylight... after a few moments, he would regain his composure, planting his hands on the hilts of his twin shortswords, though it was in a manner much akin to someone placing their thumbs in their pockets as he addressed the Tabaxi. Twould seem tae me ye've had several already, I hate tae compliment ye, but it's not e'rday that someone manages to sneak past an entire crew tae it's captain, Wouldnae 'appen tae be an assin now would ye? there was no mirth in his jest, if anything gustav could feel some disdain in the captains manner.. So cat, what do ye need? What can Ol' Captain Alderlock do for ye?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Gustav doesn't appear to take any special note of hand placements, or even react much to the Captain's start itself. He just stands there with an almost placid look and tail languidly swishing behind him while the man got his wits back. "Oh Captain, you wound me."He says with little mirth after placing a hand to his chest. "Now don't take this the wrong way. But if I was something like that, we wouldn't be having a conversation right now would we? Not after that little 'jest' you played yesterday on my dear, dear sweet boy; who wanted nothing more than to be of help."He says, smiling again, but it never quite reaches his eyes.
"And of course a few of your crew mates would have to suffer a similar fate, arrangements made so that your 'friends' back at port don't look too deeply, and so... and so on."He folds his hands back behind himself. "Anyhow. Its Gustav, by the way. My apologies for not introducing myself sooner. And to humbly ask that in the future such jest be limited to less than dangerous activities. T'is all."He starts to turn away on that note, but stops short and looks back to the captain. "Actually, there is one other thing." He feigns a wary glance to the other crew mates before saying in a more serious and conspiring tone, "How much do you trust the rest of your crew?"
Insight: 15(Passive 17) for further insight into his reaction to the questions.
Truk (Morning): Waking up I look around and not seeing my buddy find his note and read that he's gone topside. I'll take a few minutes to stretch out and make sure the wire on the cabin door is disarmed and then head out looking for food. Not having much experience with Genasi (Never seeing any in the mountains and only seeing a few in the city he spent some of the night trying to figure out why she seemed familiar) Seeing her come to the table he blurts out "You like animals don't you!" he continues loading up a plate "Sorry, if it's rude but there was something bout you that seemed familiar. I've spent much time studying animals in the mountains and you remind me of some of them."
Alderlock grunted, his eyes still holding that same tension as before, that tension simultaneously masking his other more hidden feelings. His hands twitching on his hilts as he considered his responses, chewing on a part of his beard. In the near distance, seagulls cawed in the near silence. Aside from the crews shuffling and the faint breeze. The captain paced around, but somehow Gustav could tell, that all these tells were not signs of nervousness or 'crap he's onto me' but rather that of a man considering his next course of action. as he padded along the 10 foot space afforded him. A smile crept on his face as Gustav responded to his comment about being an 'assassin' Ye never ken. Some Assins enjoy toying with their prey, ye see? Besides, if I truly thought you were, you'd change jobs into a pincushion, ken?
At the mention of what the captain had done yesterday, he almost betrayed himself, catching his smile and laugh in his throat before it was born. Looking at Gustav directly in his eyes as he patted the cats shoulder, though it did force the dwarf to stretch a bit. Well, that was simply me evenin' the score see? Afterall, he did threaten me while wishing to be usin mah services. He insulted me in front o' me own crew, so I sent him on a jerries task. Which makes us even, ken? As fer me crew? Not a sign of mutiny in their eyes. I pay them well. The ymake a kings ransom every other docking, ye see. And they know not tae bit the hand what feeds em. Afterall, they dinnae 'ave me contacts and associations.
Gustav can easily tell there's something more hidden beneath his answers but without the ability to read minds, the best he can tell is this man isn't the most honest captain in the world, though he keeps his word enough to maintain a good reputation.
In fact Mr. Gustav, would ye be interested in coming with me tae the crew quarters in the basement deck. I think the best way to answer yer question might just be there as It's easier to explain things with some degree of context.
After my conversation with Era (seems like we can past post it) I'll head topside and start doing my morning training routine. Enjoying how the motion of the boat helps to tune my balance while my axes flash out in a flurry in motion. First doing the dance of combat against a single opponent, then moving into attacking and defending against multiple attackers with first the 2 axes then sheathing an axe and moving into new exercises with axe and shield. I stay aware of my surrounding and make sure to not interfere with the crew going about their business but once I've established by little bit of deck space if anyone started to encroach on it I'd alter my routine to make sure I maintained the space. Not trying to hurt anyone, just keep my skills up.
"Now that sounds like the confidence of a man whose run afoul of number of such people, isn't it? Or dwarven pride?"Gustav replied in the mix, if not after. He never lets the captain leaves his sight. But aside from his gaze and lazily waving tail he never moves anything else. As the man went to pat him on the shoulder, only then is special but subtle care paid to the other hand's whereabouts.
He sighs and bows his head."No need. I've been down a similar road before."Gustav puts on a show of shuddering at some unspoken thought. "... Not to mention that I've already been informed to some extent the nature of things before accepting my current assignment. Hints my last question."He says, smiling briefly with his eyes before his expression falls flat. "And I must say you've done a poor job at keep certain things more carefully under the table. Really. Two guards outside a door at full attention? Practically screams notice me from curious eyes. But forgivable." His eyes narrow at the captain and in a more flat voice says, "To an extent... And you cannot possibly tell me that money, and what I can only 'guess' are threat of... poor working prospects in the future are the only thing you have to keep your men in line."He adds in a tone conveying
Then he glances away casually saying, "Not that it matters. You would've always had those watchers doing things you do. Perhaps even managed to root out and bribe one... But not all of them." As he says this, he looks at one crew mate that either appeared to be looking in their direction at this point, or paying absolutely none at all. Whichever looked more convenient to lay the seed of doubt on at the time.
"In any case, my 'good' captain. I should go to my friend again 'fore he finds the ire of another one of the crew. It's so hard to keep good covers these days." Gustav bows slightly and steps back a few feet with half-lidded eyes on the captain all the while. "I really do hope you join your crew this time in the mess hall, Mr. Aderlock! I know, I know! A good captain's work is never done. But I would greatly appreciate it! You have no idea of the wondrous stories I have to share. Why, if I had not been so engaged the other night, I'm certain your crewmates here would've agreed."He espouses; a show for the crew on the way out, whereas before he had been careful to try and keep things just between them.

A few of the sailors look up as Gustavs voice raises intentionally near the end, eyeing him curiously, before glancing at Dustloom himself. Dustloom was about t respond to the highly insightful Tabaxi, but it was just his luck that the Cat himself would decide to turn his back, and walk away. A smirk spread across his face even as he did, allowing his facade to fall as the cat couldn't 'hear' expressions. Oh no... Y'er onto me...he thought to himself with a smirk that grew wider before finally recomposing himself. Oh the cat was close.... He was on the same page, but of a different book. Ifn ye wish tae play a game o' cat n' mouse, you should be sure ye'r the cat. Again in the confines of his own mind. Finally shouting back Oh, Oi'll be sure tae join ye tonight kitten. It's good fer the morale of me men afterall! Har har Ho!
The crew seem to avoid the area that Truk is 'training in' though some watch with amusement as they swab the decks, and alter the sails to best catch the storm mages winds, the mage now that they were out of the storm, was making amazing headway, and far off in the distance, in the endless expanse was a tiny dot, indicating and was there, just very far away.

Even as Truk continues his training, not even an hour later, a sailor falls overboard attempting to dodge a wide blow from the barbarian, a moment later splashing into the water below.
Training on the boat, with it's constant rocking has also increased Truk's Dexterity score by 1.

Truk: Totally getting into the motion of the boat and feeling that it's refining his skills does a tight turn and lashes out with his axe while holding his shield low and sees a sailor move back from his mock attack and fall over the rail. There's not even a half second of pause as he drops his shield and axe on deck, reaches behind him and grabs his grappling hook ties it to his rope and yells out "Hey! Someones gone over!"
He then launches the grappling hook at the guy who went over:

The hook goes so wide, it would likely appear to others that he missed intentionally, but regardless, several of them ran to the edge, all of which threw extra long ropes over the edge, all of them landing randomly near the sailor. 20
and he grabs onto several, including Truks, knowing the barbarian could likely lift him by himself, and is once again pulled to the top of the ship after several minutes. The sailor offers an indifferent nod to Truk, and thanks his fellows for saving him. Anyone watching below still would notice a fin near where the sailor had been moments ago. It seemed he had narrowly escaped being some sea monsters food.

Finally the sun passes its zenith, and the murky clouds part way, revealing the sun once more, shining in all it's glory. The water was once again vividly clear, anyone looking able to see hundreds of feet below before visibility waned, allowing anyone who cared an amazing view of the sea life that swam the oceans of Faerun. Some monstrosities were seen far below the surface, but they seemed to pay the boat no mind. More dolphins and gulls were visible, tracing the skyline and ocean. And far off, a whale breached for the first time, letting out a mass of water as it surfaced to breathe, just before orange-white tentacles wrapped around it, blood gushing everywhere, and tainting the blue waters with a small sea of red as the whale let out its dying mournful cry, becoming food for a Kraken.
From below decks, through the woods, the savory smell of food being prepared wafted above. In a few hours, dinner would be ready. In the between time the captain had patrolled his ship, giving general orders, but knowing the crew knew what they needed to do. he would keep his promise to that Tabaxi and show up for dinner tonight. In fact, he went below decks to tell the chef to prepare an extra special meal, digging into their finest salted meats, and even cracking open some wine before heading back to his cabin.

Past...
Era listened to Truk with a grin on her face as she plucked and devoured slowly ate some more grapes. When asked if she knows anything about the serpent he happened to have come across in the water, the genasi tilted her head slightly. "Orangish and white?" Era had jutted out her bottom lip in thought, but Gustav had beat her to the punch, regardless, she would have to nod in agreement at the possibility of it being some sort of sea serpent. "I don't know too much about water life, honestly, but I think Gustav is right. Maybe we'll get to meet it some day!" She jokes with a laugh.
Era explains the reasoning behind why she was venturing off to this island, telling Truk she was on a search to find her genie father, and the Burgee would have to tell his story to the giant himself. She stayed with the pair until they had all decided to retire off to bed, giving them both a goodnight (with an added hug!), before she left to her and Burgee's quarters. She stayed away for a little while longer to see if her birdy friend was going to join up with her again, but by the time they would have shown up (if he did), she would be off to dreamland.
Earlier...
The genasi was first to rise (assuming Burgee had entered the room to get himself some kind of rest) and was quick to head out and grab something to eat from the kitchen. She had been picking at a pineapple when Truk had shook her out of her thoughts, giving him a startled look at first, but, realizing it was him, was quick to have one of her signature smiles on her face. "Oh! Why, yes, I do love animals!" She giggles at his assumption of him being rude to her. "No, no, it's okay, I grew up around them, so I may give off that kind of vibe. Is it that obvious?" She rips off a piece of the spiked fruit and offers it to the goliath. "Want some while you tell me what kind of animals I remind you of? I'll do the same for you!"
Now...
With their conversation over, Era would join him on the top deck, not joining him to train but more so to talk to the other sailors to see if maybe they happened to know thing about a genie named Oozstel on the island they were headed to. While she asked around, she would look over the shoulder of the person she had been talking to and get a good sight of the poor pirate who had fallen overboard, the genasi bursting into a fit of laughter at the sad sap. She was glad he was okay (from what it looked like from her distance), but that was funny as hell.
Not entirely sure what to roll for here (regarding more info on her pops) but I'll roll a flat 20, then just go ahead and add my mod: 19
When nightfall came, Era had stayed on the top deck and just admired the ocean for a long time, enjoying seeing new creatures she hadn't really seen before.

Burgee had in fact, not shown up the night before. It was always possible he simply fell asleep in the crows nest! Either way, no one in the party had heard from Burgee since he was last seen above deck the night before. The ocean was beautiful to Era's eyes, especially as the sun set, casting a romantic light over the water, this view was one you could only see on open-ocean, and only on such a clear day. Off in the far distance, the remainder of that storm they had passed through was a small blot in the sky, heading for port Nyanzaru.. most likely.
As Era wandered, around, once the sun had fully set, and her view shifted to an oddly bright night, thanks to the purity of the water reflecting the moon, creating a second sky and a twin moon on the waters ripping surface, it didn't take long before she found a sailor who knew of her father. Mm'yeah, "at name wrings a beww or two poppet. Matterofact 'e also rode this ship! Dough dat was ... uh prolly a decade ago yeah? Wat took him the same place we're takin you matterofact. He was quite the biznis mahn 'e was. We had quite a few dealin's wif 'im. Lot o' gold to be made y'know? He went off to the mainland some time 'afore he came back, and settled back inta his home in Arando.. Ara... The ****in' elf city, roight? Place we're goin' ta. But wouldn't rekommend laughin at Jerris 'gain, weren't 'is fault 'e fell over y'know. But oi, yeah, Less 'e died 'e should be in the elf city up that way slag! even as he said this, a loud bell rang from below, indicating supper was ready to eat. The captain sauntered out of his cabin again, with a big smile on his face, shouting at those below deck.
YARR! Ereboody below decks, we survived a storm, Jerris didn't drown, and we all be well over halfway to our destination! This calls fer celebration! Yarharhar! his mirth was genuine as he headed down below. The sweet scent of seasoned meats, uncorked wine, and celebration were in the air. The anchors were drawn to keep the ship from drifting on a random course, meaning even the Helmsman was joining.
All the crew was below deck, eagerly waiting for their meals to be brought out to them, like it was some sort of a restaurant. The chef would claim that it was only proper to wait for all the guests to arrive before the feast could begin.

Earlier...
Gustav is back to being a senile old cat when he finds Truk. Which hadn't been hard at all. So, he went down to finally see about breakfast. Because he knew better than to give Truk anything less than optimal swinging room after catching the blunt side of a blow a long time ago. Just after retrieving his meal from the mess, he passes one of the portholes just in time to hear a willhelm scream of somebody falling overboard. "Huh... Must've been my imagination." He says turning away just in time to miss ropes go flying over the side to help the man up.
Discovering what he missed going up top, Truk finds Gustav giving him the raised brow and lowered head: a mix of the dad look and 'Did you really?' Then sigh and shake his head in exasperation before going over to lightly pop Truk upside the back of the head. Even if that meant having to do some hoping. The lucky sailor receives an apologetic bow head bow before Gustav is back on Truk's case. "Don't give me no funny looks. You know what what you did. Now come, my boy. Mnnn... Friend. There is something I wish to show you."If accepted, Gustav leads Truk back down stairs and to the least occupied space in near the bunking area. Somewhere that gave them plenty of room to catch anyone spying upon them while at it.
"I don't think I need to tell you this, but be mindful of crew and captain a little more until we're off this ship; 'specially tonight. I may have, uh... taken the captain for a little ride, and he might be in the mood for more jests. Doubtful any of it will be of kind of when we met, but..." He shrugs. "At very least sleep we sleep in shifts... and try not over overindulge tonight."The warning given, Gustav spends most of the remainder leaving Truk to his own devices after giving him an impromptu tour/lesson on it. At least until boredom or excitement leads the giant to run off on him.
Sunset...
"What a terrifying and beautiful world we live in, Brother Og."Alone he whispers with a smile on his face, and something in hand. He manipulates it a few times in hand, but his eyes never leaves the setting sun. Unless designated by the captain or crew, he watches from the bow of the ship until the bell rings. Of Burgee, he pushes out of his mind whenever possible. But in not seeing the bird for a whole day, earlier suspicions only grow in time. So much so, he entertains a meditative state and began enchanting some words that anyone listening might mistake it for practice of a song in some foreign tongue.
He would not be caught unaware again...
Now...
Gustav was in no rush. But neither did he wish to offend the captain by arriving fashionable late. That said, he tries to grab Truk and Era before they descend and asks in secret. "I wish to spend at least a few moments more up top for some stargazing. An old itch I need to scratch. Think you two can keep them entertained for at least a few?"He asks the duo, but Truk is given a meaningful look. One he knew well to be the catman's signal for 'stall for time while I do some snooping'. If agreed, he pats them both on the back and playfully ushers them along with a "Don't have too much fun without me."
As soon as it felt safe enough he scampers off with eyes bearing a faint blue glow from the ritual performed earlier. Whether it takes mingling and breaking away from the crowd going down, or finding the room atop in the back of the ship, Gustav goes to examine the door left mostly "unguarded", and check the lock.
AND IF THEY DON'T go along, then he at least does his best to avoid attracting attention when food and wine is brushed off or on to another sailor. For he need a voice and a sharp mind to tell stories throughout the evening.

Gustav's own smile wavered as her falters and left him even more confused. He starts trying to slyly look around for Truk, but stops to follow her words. I just get lost in my own head is all." He proclaims first before sticking out his tongue in defiance. "Now what's this about a slithering orange fish? Sure it was a sea serpent--" The growing smile behind his voice and expression both disappear as he narrowed his eyes so much, his caterpillar brows practically cover them.
"More importantly. Now this is something coming from your 'ol pal here, but... Why in the world were you--" Then his eyes widen again before a mreowl comes out as he glances to the sailors gathering around for their meal. "Ne'remind. I think I know. Now get me a second to have a think." And thus, he has himself a think on the creature, trying to discern any known creatures of the sort with a few half-muttered words that sounded almost like prayers again.
"And so it was their eyes were open, and their spirits tempered by the truth." One was such line.

"Sorry to disturb you, my good captain." He stated frankly and just loud enough for the captain to here. By the time the captain turns to look, Gustav is a good three feet, calm as a cucumber instead of appearing winded by any sudden movement. He waggles his fingers and smiles toothily. "But may I have a word." He asks pleasantly enough, but the carefree air of the day prior isn't there. Not really.
Unless followed -- unlikely as that may be -- Gustav is alone during this sudden morning meeting. A note had been left behind for Truk to find whenever he awakens.

Gustav doesn't appear to take any special note of hand placements, or even react much to the Captain's start itself. He just stands there with an almost placid look and tail languidly swishing behind him while the man got his wits back. "Oh Captain, you wound me." He says with little mirth after placing a hand to his chest. "Now don't take this the wrong way. But if I was something like that, we wouldn't be having a conversation right now would we? Not after that little 'jest' you played yesterday on my dear, dear sweet boy; who wanted nothing more than to be of help." He says, smiling again, but it never quite reaches his eyes.
"And of course a few of your crew mates would have to suffer a similar fate, arrangements made so that your 'friends' back at port don't look too deeply, and so... and so on." He folds his hands back behind himself. "Anyhow. Its Gustav, by the way. My apologies for not introducing myself sooner. And to humbly ask that in the future such jest be limited to less than dangerous activities. T'is all." He starts to turn away on that note, but stops short and looks back to the captain. "Actually, there is one other thing." He feigns a wary glance to the other crew mates before saying in a more serious and conspiring tone, "How much do you trust the rest of your crew?"

Or dwarven pride?" Gustav replied in the mix, if not after. He never lets the captain leaves his sight. But aside from his gaze and lazily waving tail he never moves anything else. As the man went to pat him on the shoulder, only then is special but subtle care paid to the other hand's whereabouts.
He sighs and bows his head."No need. I've been down a similar road before." Gustav puts on a show of shuddering at some unspoken thought. "... Not to mention that I've already been informed to some extent the nature of things before accepting my current assignment. Hints my last question." He says, smiling briefly with his eyes before his expression falls flat. "And I must say you've done a poor job at keep certain things more carefully under the table. Really. Two guards outside a door at full attention? Practically screams notice me from curious eyes. But forgivable." His eyes narrow at the captain and in a more flat voice says, "To an extent... And you cannot possibly tell me that money, and what I can only 'guess' are threat of... poor working prospects in the future are the only thing you have to keep your men in line." He adds in a tone conveying
Why, if I had not been so engaged the other night, I'm certain your crewmates here would've agreed." He espouses; a show for the crew on the way out, whereas before he had been careful to try and keep things just between them.

Oh no... Y'er onto me... he thought to himself with a smirk that grew wider before finally recomposing himself.

Past...
Era listened to Truk with a grin on her face as she plucked and
devouredslowly ate some more grapes. Maybe we'll get to meet it some day!" She jokes with a laugh.Era explains the reasoning behind why she was venturing off to this island, telling Truk she was on a search to find her genie father, and the Burgee would have to tell his story to the giant himself.

Mnnn... Friend. There is something I wish to show you." If accepted, Gustav leads Truk back down stairs and to the least occupied space in near the bunking area.
"At very least sleep we sleep in shifts... and try not over overindulge tonight." The warning given, Gustav spends most of the remainder leaving Truk to his own devices after giving him an impromptu tour/lesson on it. At least until boredom or excitement leads the giant to run off on him.
Sunset...
"What a terrifying and beautiful world we live in, Brother Og." Alone he whispers with a smile on his face, and something in hand.
Think you two can keep them entertained for at least a few?" He asks the duo, but Truk is given a meaningful look.
