Elon watched the spell being cast with interest. Once Selinae wakes, he steps toward the bed and listens to everyone.

"Don't worry about the money, as for the brutes, they got away but we will find them. The main thing is that you are ok."

He gives her a pat on the leg then steps back to give her space. He takes several deep breathes in relief that she is ok. 

Phaedra remains silent as she watches the priest do his work, holding her symbol of Mystra under her tunic and praying silently to the goddess.

As there friend is revived, she smiles at her but stays silent and to the back.

The priest refills both water glasses and hands one Selinae. "You need to take it slow for the next several days. What you've been through has weakened you greatly. If you try to fight you will find yourself under performing. It's best if you just go home and rest for a few days." Turning to the others, "Thank you for bringing her here and being willing to bring her back. You'd be amazed at how many people ask the cost of a funeral after I tell them the cost of a resurrection. You're good people, I feel. If her home is far, I would recommend a carriage ride home rather than walking. Please feel free to stay in here for a bit more until she feels up to moving about. I'll leave you in peace will I tend to my other duties."

OOC:

• Sel currently has 1 hp.
• She will have a -4 to dice rolls until her next long rest.
• After each long rest the penalty drops by 1.

Kestrell glares at the priest, perhaps misplacing his fear & worry over Selinae with the priest that brought her back.

After the priest leaves, Kestrell says: "Alright, let's get a cart, and get back to the tavern.  There will be plenty to eat there Serenade.  And then off to bed.  We can discuss our revenge tomorrow."

Phaedra casts Cure Wounds at 2nd level and then one at 1st on Sel.

" I can walk.....thanks to Phaedra.....but lets not plan any dancing or much other than eating and sleeping really...."

"We didn't have the time to go anywhere else, let alone your parents. Let get you back to Trollskull and you can rest. Once we are there the rest of us can try and figure out how we are going to get this gem back."

Kestrell leads the way back to the manor.  Walking slowly and resting as needed for Selinae.

Selinae relaxed a bit at Phaedras words, " Lets go then."

Silver just stays quiet leaning against a wall as his companion is resurrected a small smile creeping over his face "Today's been a good day. Let's go get a drink." he says looking at them all.

"Well Silver, that's the best idea all day" Elon says with a smile and begins the march toward Troll Skull.

The walk back to Trollskull is uneventful but does take about an hour. The sun is getting close to setting by the time you all make it. As you all walk in you find Vassa and Bason sitting at one of the tables eating.

"Welcome back! So how'd today go? Get any new leads on the stone?" Vassa asks.

" Not exactly.....", says Selinae as she walks through the common room heding straight for bed.

"It... we lost the stone and had to bring Selinae back from the dead.." Phaedra pauses to calm her breath.

"Your old nemesis was among them Vassa..."

"I need to go to my room and pray for forgiveness..." and with that Phaedra disappears up to her room and locks the door.

Kestrell pulls up to the bar and has a few drinks before going off to bed.

Silver just walks over to the bar pulling out two wine glasses and a bottle of rose wine and pulling out the cork. He just looks at his companions "Well this has been a shite day. I'll go check on her on the way to my room, see you all in the morning" with that he just picks up the two glasses in one hand and the bottle in the other as he begins to move up the stairs. He stops pausing for a moment as he lifts the hand with the bottle to the door "Sel you were a lot better with people then I am." he mutters as he taps the bottle on Phaedra's door "Phaedra you got a moment?" he asks just waiting for a response.

Elon gives a nod to Silver and heads of to find a corner to lay in for the night.

Vassa and Bason just watch everyone sort of blow through the room before Bason looks over to Vassa, "Did she just say they brought Selinae back from the dead?"

Vassa just nods, thoughts already going to his nemesis as Phae called him. After a moment, Vassa heads upstairs to his room. When he returns a few minutes later, he's back in his leather armor with all his gear on.  "Hold down the fort for the evening Bason. I'm going to do some investigating of my own this evening." Vassa says as he exits the manor.

After a few seconds, Phaedra answers.

"One minute."

After some time she opens up the door. The priestess has removed her armour, shield still laying flat on the floor and is in her religious vestments, holy symbol of Mystra clutched in one hand. "Ohh" she says noticing the bottle, "You can come in if you wish..."

Silver just waits as she opens the door as she extends him somewhat of an offer to enter "Only if its not a bother to you. Otherwise feel free to just kick me back out." he says smiling as he walks through pouring two glasses of wine "Something you said before coming up had me thinking maybe you could use someone to talk to. You take care of us lot all the time, yet I don't think any of us have ever really returned the favor. I'm no goddess, hell not even the best person in Waterdeep, but I'm a good listener who knows how to keep his mouth shut." he just extends his hand with the wine glasses offering one up to her "What's going on, you did great today I'm sure you did Mystra proud. So why do you feel you need forgiveness? or if you don't want to talk I can just be a wine delivery service tonight if that is what ya need."
