Silver looks back to the group and motions towards him and then enters the room slowly - intent on trying to scope out any threats that may be there before the party gets to the door. He draws his dagger and short sword in case he might need them.
As Silver nears the end of the tunnel he looks out into what appears to be a cellar of some sort. Entering the room and carefully stepping to the right to make way for the rest of the group Silver continues to scan the room and is shocked when he realizes there's a wererat sitting on a crate right next to him. Thankfully the wererat's observation skills seem to be lacking as he hasn't noticed Silver yet.
Silver just stares at the Wererat 'Please gods - be right behind me' he thinks as he plunges the short sword forward towards the Wererat and then slashing the dagger at his throat.
Silver's sword sinks far into the wererat's middle. The shock of the attack causes the wererat to yell and roll to the side, dislodging Silver's sword from his body and unfortunately causing Silver's dagger to miss it's target. The wererat's yell was loud enough that the whole party heard it.
Hearing the yell, Renaer runs for the tunnel entrance and ducks in but can go no further due to the crowd in front of him.
The wererat stands and snarls at Silver. "We knew you Xanathar couldn't be trusted! After I kill you I'll let the rest of the Shard Shunners know of your treachery!" The wererat lunges at Silver, swinging his own shortsword.
Lockbox hears the noise and starts to run for the tunnel entrance however realizes that it's going to tight fit, he drops to his hands and feet and bear crawls in. Even then the sound of scraping can be heard and his shoulders rub the walls of the small tunnel.
[OOC] Vassa will do the following if the wererat or any other enemy is around on his turn. Otherwise, he will continue to follow 15' behind Silver, 5' behind Locky, 5' in front of Asariel. If it has been an hour or less since they entered the sewers, he will have his unseen servant stay between any enemies and Asa. At the prompting of another party member, Vassa will also use it to open doors or interact with potentially dangerous objects as required.
'Slipping quietly into the chamber, Vassa will nod to see the obviously capable Silver handling the wererat blade-to-blade. Slipping back into the far right corner, the bard will raise his crossbow and fire from the shadows.'

"...Debts must always be paid, sometimes in more than blood and gold. But this is Ordo Ursa," Ren places his hand on Erakas's chest, right where the Dragonborn's heart is. "Right here. And it always has been and always will be. Don't ever forget that. Because I won't."

The party spills out into the room, quickly surrounding the wererat. Seemingly all at once blades, arrows, and fire come flying at the creature. The wererat only manages to dodge Kestrell's arrow, and that was on accident. Within seconds the perfectly healthy wererat becomes the barely alive wererat.
[OOC] Hey Locky, we kinda jumped you in initiative order. Wanna take a swing and finish this guy for us?
Lockbox comes crawling out of the tunnel and charges straight for the wererat. The wererat is barely standing; he looks up just in time to see Lockbox's greataxe coming straight for him. Before he can scream, his head and upper torso are split in two. The lifeless body falls to the floor.
Renaer looks around at the room they're in as well as the adjoining rooms. "Looks like we're in someone's cellar again. Do we want to poke our head up" points at the stairs leading up, "or keep searching down here?"

"I'm all for getting out of these sewers, but shouldn't we do a thorough search of this area first, Kes? What about you, Silver? You seem to know your way around down here. After subjecting ourselves to this stench and filth, I would hate to miss anything of use or value."

Silver just nods "This is only going to get more interesting - it wouldn't hurt to keep looking up, though this might not be the entrance to where they are keeping him. I just want you all to keep that in mind."
With that Silver begins to look around the room searching it for anything that may help them or be of value.

"All good. While we're bumbling about somwhat, we'll find Floon yet... I know it! I just think we're better off searching carefully as we go, not only so we dont miss something of value or stumble into anything dangerous unawares, but we also dont want to have to backtrack if at all possible. Anyone see any of those wall markings or find anything else of note?"

Kestrell silently walks up the stairs and every so quietly opens the door at the top and peeks out. As he looks around he sees people moving about. Poking his head out further to look around Kestrell realizes he's in some sort of Inn that must cater to halflings. Just as he goes to pull his head back in he hears a female clearing her throat. Glancing to his left and down a matronly looking halfling stands smiling at him. "Friends from the sewers, eh? Well that's nice, welcome to my place. Name's Kithri TellPenny. If you're going to be staying, please go outside and a block west. There you'll find the nearest bathhouse. Once you no longer smell like the sewer you're welcome to rent a bed."
"No, not yet! Nice and easy now!"
