Talien moves to stand in front of the door with his pack, back resting against the door. He draws the sword he aquired from the 'husk' that was Grom's friend. He studys the blade quietly as he polishes it. (4 hours currently planned) He picks up everyone else's weapons after that and cleans them as they are doing thier own business. He does not speak to anyone, just moves from pack to pack rummaging through possessions to clean weapons.
Does anyone do/say anything to this?
Are you also swinging the blade and "testing" it? (Asking as it may require attunement)
Rees settles next to Arxius, her weapons set aside so Talien doesn't need to rifle through her possessions. "I'm fine, I don't need any healing. Managed to stay out of range or hide well enough that I didn't get hit. I can take a watch -- I mean, I know Talien is kind of always watching like a bizarre war-forged Santa, but I can, too." She shrugged one shoulder. "After we rest, we should check the door the other key fits, too...maybe we'll find the hammer or just, you know, something neat."
Shake hands his rapier to Talien. "Thanks big guy."
Then he sits down and starts muttering to himself.
"Belak expired... passed... died. Died. Belak is dead. His time expired... No. his time was up. His bell doth toll. He was wrong... evil. He was wicked. Maybe something simple... suitable for the kids. Something like...
Ding Dong Belak is dead. Which Belak? The wicked Belak. Ding Dong the wicked Belak is dead.
Maybe not. Seems kinda hokey. Maybe focus on the undead. Their emotional effect... Zombies in our head..."
Talien, don't touch the Glaive unless it gives you permission to do so.
I have cleaned it before. What is wrong with me cleaning it now Alten? How can we see if Alten is like Chatra? The real Alten let me polish is glaive before. Talien moves from the doorway taking a direct path to Alten, his eyes turn red and he draws his greatsword. This world, can I trust nobody?
"Talien, remember how we talked about respecting people's things? He just asked you not to touch it without...Wait, Alten, what do you mean unless IT gives permission?"

He seems pretty content.

Talien does not swing the blade, just looks it over and cleans it.

Alten gives her a bemused & puzzled look. I meant what I said. Eldenser said it would be better if he stayed with me.

As Alten notices the threatening approach he says to Talien
STOP or I will defend myself.
If Talien reaches my 10 foot threatened area (Glaive has reach property) with his weapons drawn, then Alten will strike.

Alten, what is an Eldenser? Are you a Chatra creature?

Well... let's put it this way... the further you are from me... the less power I can grant you.

Meepo slumps down in a corner of the room, "MEepo.. so tired... how you not tired...?"
Seeing Talien pause, Alten continues without dropping his guard.
Eldenser is the intelligence that is in my Glaive. Intelligent weapons are not unheard of. I mean we’ve been walking around with you this whole time.
