I don't understand how a machine can walk and talk like that. But there are plenty of things I don't understand. I guess the gods have a purpose for it.
"In my experience, it depends on what the object is used for," Arxius says. Her gloved fingers rub her forked ear automatically. "But if the hammer is not behind the door, let us move on. There is more to explore, Talien," she says as she walks past the group and heads for the last of the unexplored territory.
If it is not behind this door how can it be behind the other door? We tried to enter the dragon door before. I admit we cant enter this room currently, but the dragon door is an option at this point. Let's go. Talien leads the way to the dragon door.
You find the room just the way you left it the first time you visited. What would you like to do? (You do know the doors locked and ensorcelled already if I recall correctly)
That’s just what the disembodied voice in my head said.
Wait, that sounded crazy when I said it out loud.
"A lot of things sound crazy when you say them aloud, Alten. That is just the way of the world."
When she returns to the dragon door she fishes a key out of the pouch on her belt. "We did not have this before, Talien," she says and looks at the others. "Be prepared, I suppose."
She tries the key in the door and if able to opens it.

Nothing happens for a moment, then suddenly the door starts to vibrate. Dust kicks up in a cloud as it as it ever so slowly opens and you hear the grinding noise of stone on stone...
"I don't know, Talien, it looks like this place was sealed up for a long time. Longer than the hammer has been missing..." Rees will start looking for anything small and shiny that she can pocket. Not necessarily something of value, just something interesting. (And also a hammer)

The southern globe, the one glowing faintly blue, looks pretty. You hear a faint tinkling noise like a car engine cooling down coming from that direction. The others are all cracked and dark...
You don't see much else of interest.. there's another door on the far side (western) of the room.
Nothing undead or patently evil in the immediate area as far as I can tell.
Alten holds position while Grom is doing his ritual. He starts to call out if Talien keeps moving, but cuts himself off with a sigh and a shake of his head.

"Do you think something is trapped inside?" Arxius asks as she moves closer to the orb. "Might be just a spell and the others were used."
Once you are within five feet of the orb it suddenly glows brighter and brooding music begins to play throughout the area seemingly out of nowhere. Everyone please make a DC 15 Wis saving throw.

It probably isn't unless the kobold leader stored it in there. Not sure why it would go to the trouble to lock it away like that.
Like we said, it may not be down here.

Sweet.. as a note though Rees and the others seem to be looking around while you're doing this.
You do not detect anything hallow or desecrated or celestial, fiend, undead for that matter within the room.
