Keep going, they're almost done. Just a few more attacks. Because of the shape of the layers, the manticores can't get to you, it looks like their wings are clipped, and they're too dumb to notice you're attacking because of Silvians spell.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Kal'iente sheathes his blades, pulls his cloak off, bundles it up, and stuffs it in his backpack. Stowing everything neatly away, he then toes up to the edge of the water tank, and proceeds to execute a perfectly acceptable double flip into the water (Acrobatics: 10). After coming back up for air, he looks over to the rest of the group, expecting clapping and glowing admiration.
Lavish furnishings and decorations are everywhere in this large room. The floor is strewn with rugs and cushions, and tapestries cover the walls. A hookah as tall as an adult human stands in one corner. The largest piece of furniture is a sumptuous divan.
Blackrazor shines like a piece of night sky filled with stars. Its black scabbard is decorated with pieces of cut obsidian. You gain a +3 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with this magic weapon. It has the following additional properties:
Devour Soul: Whenever you use it to reduce a creature to 0 hit points, the sword slays the creature and devours its soul, unless it is a construct or an undead. A creature whose soul has been devoured by Blackrazorcan be restored to life only by a wish spell. When it devours a soul, Blackrazor grants you temporary hit points equal to the slain creature’s hit point maximum. These hit points fade after 24 hours. As long as these temporary hit points last and you keep Blackrazor in hand, you have advantage on attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks. If you hit an undead with this weapon, you take 1d10 necrotic damage and the target regains 1d10 hit points. If this necrotic damage reduces you to 0 hit points, Blackrazor devours your soul.
Soul Hunter: While you hold the weapon, you are aware of the presence of Tiny or larger creatures within 60 feet of you that aren’t constructs or undead. You also can’t be charmed or frightened.
As Silvian examines the weapon and tests the balance, he shakes his head and holds it out, "It's a wonderful weapon, but not really my style. Perhaps one of you would be better off taking it?"
OOC: Assume we roll initiative again, for round 3 of the Great Southern BBQ Cookoff?

You guys can all descend to the bottom floor easily since there are no monsters in the immediate vicinity at the moment.
Ok. Violet has Nine go first as they enter the next room.

"Now, If I've learned anything from last time, we shouldn't touch anything here."
"I guess that it would make sense for a crazed wizard to have guards defend his smoking lounge. But still." Violet's going to examine the hookah.

You can see an amazingly cool long sword among the rest of the items resting in this room. There doesn't appear to be anyone in this room.
Silvian reaches out for the longsword, "I know what I said..."
He hesitates briefly but then, toch
