Kierro bravely volunteers to be the first to delve into the depths below. He climbs down the ladder and finds a room with three exits: one to the south, one to the east, and a fissure in the rock wall to the north.
When he is looking south, two giant centipedes sneak out of the fissure, and one makes a surprise attack!
(Centipede's sneak attack bite: Attack: 19 Damage: 4 piercing damage + 9 poison damage if it hits!) (Oof, it does hit; poor Kierro! Tell you what, I should have given Kierro a chance to make a Perception check, if he gets 21 or higher (the centipede's stealth roll) on a Perception roll we'll negate the sneak attack.)

Perception: 6
(I have a reaction mechanic that can give disadvantage on an enemy’s roll against me (light cleric’s Warding Flare ability) if I can use that before I get hit then I use that)
(Oh yes yes yes!) Kierro spots the very stealthy centipede just before it has a chance to sink its fangs into the aasimar; he is down below, alone, facing two hungry giant centipedes!
(Anyone up-top can roll initiative, either to climb down or shoot from up above.)
”Damn” Dwaye whispers to himself before leaping down, one hand on the ladder to slow his descent slightly, once he is maybe halfway down, he leaps off the ladder and slams his Warhammer at the centipede that attacked Kierro. Initiative: 19. Attack (with adv): 24 Damage: 11
If that doesn't finish that centipede (and if I can go again, because that was a surprise round or whatever), he then slams his Warhammer on it again, otherwise he slams it down on the other centipede. Attack (w/out adv): 25 Damage: 20
Dwaye slides down the ladder with one hand while the other holds his warhammer, he slams it into the head of the centipede that attempted to bite Kierro, smashing it with a satisfying crunch of chitin!
Asmodai tells the party, "Hey, anyone with fire, you might want to burn this nest, sho there's no chance of them having by the time we come back through."

Soar also descends, keeping a wary eye on the elf. "Did you know about the fire bugs? They were literally down the ladder from your hideout. Think that's what happened to the goblins you sent down here?"
"Well if we're going to do this, lets get going; who wants to volunteer to be first down the ladder?"
“I suppose I will.”
Kierro activates the light cantrip and climbs down the ladder.

Asmodai will fire down at one of the Centipedes. I'm assuming it's with Advantage since they wouldn't see him.

Dwaye follows up with an even more devastating blow, sending the other centipede flying into the cavern wall, where it bursts into creepy crawly goo!
(Combat over.)
Asmodai will go down the ladder and join the rest of the party. When he gets down he will check for traps and secret doors.

As far as Asmodai knows, there are no traps or secret doors, just the fissure and the two exits to the east and south.
Asmodai will inspect the fissure.

You find a nest of giant centipede eggs tucked away in the fissure.
Asmodai tells the party, "Hey, anyone with fire, you might want to burn this nest, sho there's no chance of them having by the time we come back through."

She carefully looks around the room for traps: 8
Soar finds no traps.
Skazic and Blekh descend. "Maybe. I don't see any bones left over though, if they were eaten."
Kiric pulls out a wand and starts hammering the eggs with Eldritch Blasts. “That should suffice, and thank you for the healing Kierro.”
