So you are either running or picking something up. It can’t be both. You used your turn to pick up two things for 3 damage. That is fine but no running for you.
This sort of combat deviates from the rules because every movement you make you run the risk of giving yourself damage. I would think you wouldn’t want to make to many since you have 4 more turns to go. I’m just trying to move this part along and help you out. We have some characters that do not have any bonus actions. They may not last long. I would save what ever you have for an enemy that can fight back harder.
tot 3 damages, because rounded down https://rpg.stackexchange.com/questions/115826/how-does-resistance-work

Emrys your turn
ooc: why not? here it says the free action of picking an item is a free action, to be used IN TANDEM with movements and action:
INTERACTING WITH OBJECTS AROUND YOU
Here are a few examples of the sorts of thing you can do in tandem with your movement and action:

Also in combat you can only choose to move and ready an action or fight. I haven’t seen anyone do both unless they had second wind.
ooc: I disagree but for the sake of the others and also because it fits the difficult situation I will play like this
BNOUS ACTION: RAGE
ACTION: PICK AXE, so only damages for 0.5
hence 0 damages
MOVE: RUN
Next round I might want to retrieve the shield to be used, let's say, as un unmbrella, will it give any help?
