Erevan keeps his hands folded behind his back as he listens to the young monk. "I'm sorry to hear about your master. I understand the tragedy of losing a master all too well. I do not wish that upon anyone." Erevan says comfortingly, as he recalls the time that one of his masters were killed in action. "Perhaps you could give us a brief description of his appearance to aid us in the search."
Erevan tilts his head upon being introduced to the Aarakocra. He raises an eyebrow curiously, having heard stories of the Aarakocra during his studies as a youth. "Magnificent. I never thought I'd encounter an Aarakocra on the Material Plane. It would be delightful to have you accompany the band as I'm curious to see how adept Aarakocra's are on the field. My name is Erevan Moonwhisper, the Silver Sabre of the Bladesingers." Erevan says as he bows forward a bit upon introducing himself.
The first monk produces a small image from within his robes. "I have an image of my master here." The image is of a half elf monk that appears to be om his last 40's. On either side are the two monks that approached the party. "This was made by a strange fellow in Candlekeep just before we left for Berdusk. Leosin was consulting the librarians and researching ancient writings on dragon folklore at the great library there."
After introducing himself to the Aarakocra, Erevan looks to the image that the monk is displaying of Leosin. He takes a moment to study the photo so that he'll be able to recognize Leosin upon sight. He'll be able to recall the picture due to his Keen Mind.
"We'll search for your master. Is there anything else we should know?" Erevan asks, as he looks between his companions to see if they had any questions or concerns.
The young monk holds out a choker. "This was my Masters choker. He always wore it. " Looking at the choker you can see that it appears to have been torn off. The choker is a braided leather neckband with a silver dragon design chased into the leather. " Beyond this, I do not know anything else."
The group spends the rest of the evening talking with their new member and visiting the quarter master to get supplies. The quarter master shows off new items to the group such as Nourishment Beads for both drinks and food, and a special bead that when set a certain way will count down and explode. he demonstrates a few off the wall of the keep.
Early the next morning the party is gathered at the gate with their packs on their back. Nighthill and Escobert has came to see them off. After a round of farewell wishing the party sets off following the trail left by the hoard across the rolling grassland of the Greenfields. They travel travel though the day until about noon.

During their travel, Erevan looks to Night Wine. "Catman, you should scout ahead to see if you can gather any intel. I can maintain contact with you up to a hundred and twenty feet. Beyond that, we'll need to use our Sending Stones." Erevan suggests to Night Wine to ensure they have someone scouting ahead encase of an ambush. "Birdman, you can stay adjacent to Horseman and I'll watch our six."

Since it's consensual, Erevan will use this opportunity to cast the ritual spell, Find Familiar. It takes an hour for him to conduct this ritual, and he'll eventually summon his cat, a fey creature named Argie. Erevan will speak to Argie in Sylvan.
"Scout ahead Argie, let me see through your eyes and listen through your ears." Erevan makes the command so that Argie will run through the foliage on the side of their path to go the opposite direction of Night Wine. Erevan will also be watching and listening through Argie, so he'll be blinded and deafened as he rides on Rha'El so Erevan's going to rely on Rha'El to escort him along the way.
Argie stealthy moves through the grassland so it can begin its scouting process.
As the party makes its way through the brush, both Night Wine and Argie see smoke and smell cooking meat from a group of rocks in the field in front of them. Night Wine signals the party through the sending stones to hold as he checks it out. (Rha'el would be able to hear the voice of Night Wine coming from the pocket on Erevans tunic/ jacket.) Argie and Night Wine slips up on opposite sides of the boulders. In the hollow formed from rocks falling from the surrounding hills, where tall boulders have rolled into a loose jumble. They can see there are several Cultist sitting at two separate fires. At one fire they can see 4 human cultist arguing about spices and ways to cook prairie hen. At the other fire they can see 10 Kobolds digging into food and glancing daggers at the humans. The humans weapons are about 10 feet away from them leaned against a log. The kobolds have their weapons on their belt or on their back. 2 of the kobolds have long crooked staffs on their backs. 4 Kolbolds appear to have shields. Night Wine and Erevan through Argie can determine that the cultist are completly unaware of anything going on around them and could easily be ambushed by the party. They could also make it by this group unseen if they so choose. Night Wine and Argie withdraw and move back to where Rha'el waits.
Erevan concludes his scry through Argie and looks down onto the party. "This would be a great opportunity to ambush them for interrogation. We can flank them. Catman can come in from the left, I'll come in from the right. Horseman can come in from the North, and Birdman can come in from the South. They won't know what hit them."

Erevan steps forth with his Moonblade in hand. He slides his feet across the ground as he enters the Lion Style stance of the Bladesingers. He begins to motion his body to perform the somatic portion of a spell. He mumbles in Elvish. "Briser." Erevan casts Shatter at 3rd level onto the the southwest campfire as the point of origin.
Each creature in a 10-foot-radius sphere centered on that point must make a Constitution saving throw (DC: 16). A creature takes 14 thunder damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.

Rha'El quietly walks back 15 feet, and directly over into the same column as C1. Taking a deep breath he pulls out his great sword and charges into battle.
He runs directly into C1, making 3 sweeping attacks with his sword, and using his bonus action to attack with his hooves.
