This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
You both vaguely remember it from some book or the like in history but can't make out any details of it. As you look around the room you see racks with weapons and armor in remarkable condition compared to much of the of the rest of the room and see a smaller door next to the armor and weapons

Zogar looks (without touching or getting too close) at the armor and weapons. (Remember, he's a Forge Cleric.) Is there any heavy armor here? Plate mail or similar? (Describe the armor and weapons please.)
You see that most of them are standard medium armor meant for what you would assume to be regular soldiers in different sizes. You also see a nicely decorated chest-piece with a few lines you can tell likely indicate rank but not of any army you have seen or heard of. Or'vill as you yell you feel someone come up beside you "Ah there are no guns here, tis an old place." As you look to a tall female elf looking towards the armor stands longingly almost in another place

(Sorry if i worded it wrong the rack of weapons and armor is the armory.) As you go into the room you see a set of beds set up in a barracks where you can see some scattered tables around and the likes you would see in a barracks "Ah that is the old barracks, haven't had the heart to mess with it again. But alas who are all of you lot coming into here, and how excactly did you get here, I've not had visitors in the longest time. I am Illasandra by the way." The elf says as she reaches her hand out to the group Zogar you detect a lot of magic almost flowing through the walls that is very focused nearest towards the entrance

Or’vill extends his hands. “Name is Or’vill, pleasure... can you tell us where we are exactly?” He says looking around.”how long would you say it’s been?”
Zogar senses no magic from the weapons and armor. The magic seems to be almost flowing in the walls in lines across the whole of the building "Ah after the first hundred or so I stopped counting, You are in the 33rd regiments barracks or as we who commanded it say, the Fortunes Army. But you have not answered my question, how is it that you have come across this place, for it has been in a fairly odd place since the Moving." She says as she begins to inspect your insignia's on your armor

“I believe all we did was take a right, right? I don’t think we were actually looking for this place. Just kind of happened. What do you mean the moving?” Or’vill will ask with a raised eyebrow and tipping his hat up.
"Ah Tirion must have made people forget, well if he did then I trust his judgement. I cannot tell you what it is that happened but I assume you will find it out along your journey. Ah you remind me of us when we had started out, You are of the army if I remember that insignia correctly yes." She says "If you could also catch me up on what is happening in your world that would be lovely, theres not exactly a way for me to tell whats happening outside of here." She says gesturing around you and looking around the rest of the room you see nothing like that of which is modern but very old things like furniture and things may people have stopped using some that many would consider to be ancient

“Well there is a war going on, the other side has gained power to some type of portal magic. That’s making it really difficult to fight and keep others safe. But that’s why we were called in. We were on route to search for the source of their powers or forces and we stumbled here. Oh and guns”. Or’vill hands over his pistol and powder for the lady to inspect if she wishes.
"Ah I know of these, very rare in my time and still being improved upon. Nice to see people have continued with new advancements. These portals, describe them and I may be able to figure out what they are. Follow me to the Library as you tell me." She says as she begins walking out into the main hall and pulls out a small symbol and places it against the pedestal with the building on it opening a door at the corner of the room

You see a few books of histories of this subject or that and many relating to magic but you don't really seem to see any magical items, but there are many locked boxes and drawers. "Cultists you say, alright well that's a start, do you know any of the names of possibly leaders or something of that sort?" She says as she sits goes over to a set of shelves and pulls a lever a few times making the bookshelves sort out until she finds the one she likes. "Also do you know of any traditions, possibly goals, or specific magic they use. Many cults try to replicate or use magic of those they may worship." She says as she starts scanning through the book shelf

"If we can spare 11 minutes, I'd like to check for magic, either in the area or on this gear."
Zogar begins ritually casting Detect Magic
(ooc: 11 minutes may not be feasible, but he doesn't know about the elf, so he starts casting.)
Tanon takes a step into the armory. "What's in here then?" She asks.
Elra Skylash - Human Cleric | Vanzaren Tanidoni - Half Elf Wizard
Mindartis Liadon - Eladrin Barbarian | Naivara Siannodel - Half Elf Ranger
Arrila Evenwood - Half Elf Paladin | Callaphe of Setessa - Human Rogue
Katernin Nemetsk - Aasimar Cleric | Melody - Tiefling Bard
Vaunea will also venture forth into the armory
