You guys take a Short Rest. Heal up a bit. Look around and see that the is a tunnel leading south and hear the rushing of water coming from somewhere beyond the tunnel.
Durlan pulls out his flute and begins playing a somber tune during the rest, infused with healing magics to aid the recovery of his companions. 4 additional points of healing to anyone that used any hit dice this short rest.
(OOC: Those 4 points mitigate my need to use that final hit die. Rivon will have spent 3, not 4.)
Before they leave the site of oozy carnage, Rivon looks for the super ooze loot!
(OOC - Just realized the update about the next area was on the previous page for me... Doh!)
As the noise reaches a point even Three cannot quite ignore, the chimera shakes her head once and claps her cheeks at the same time. "Focus. No more of that." She mutters, before then taking a final deep breath. "Okay, uhm, so...." She looks between the rushing water to the west and the bridge itself. "Yea, probably a bad idea to try and go that way, soooo..."Her gaze focuses on the bridge. "Guess that's the best way forward? Watch your step everyone. Boss once told me even stone gives way if lift untended for a good long while." She warns briefly over her shoulder while carrying on for and hopefully across the bridge without further consequences.
Once on the other side, she waits for everyone to make it, before proceeding along down to the east in search of branching paths or draconic trouble!

Three, being (probably) the heaviest of the group, goes over the stone bridge. She realizes that this bridge seems as sturdy as the day it was built. Then remembers something Master said about good Dwarven architecture. Rivon follows quietly behind, almost entranced by the water flowing beneath the bridge, then realizes, he hasn't used the bathroom in a good while.

Taman strides along, near the back of the group, following as the others lead onward. He has his familiar scouting just ahead, keeping an eye out for dangers.

The large ledge that you are now on follows the course of the east. It continues for about 60 feet, then curves north. ON the south side of the wall is a smell opening about 10 feet wide.

Once everyone had crossed none worst for wear, Three breaks out Tom while looking between the two paths. Pausing for a moment to sniff about in the air and under her arms after, Three replied chipperly, "Nope! Just the usual dankiness and blood and sweat."Then its back to considering the paths.
"Hmmm... Decisions, decisions, decisions... What do you think Tom?"She asks as she sets the butt of her weapon on the ground and holds it from the top, absently spinning it about without letting it quite fall. "That IS a good point. You've never steered us wrong yet! Buuut-..."She turns to everyone else with a bright smile. "What do you guys think? Where to next? I think I picked last time -- no, wait! Tom did. But still! We count as one for that, so its ya'll turn this time."
"I know it's probably a silly question but is everyone in tip top shape? I can magical aid if anyone is still sporting a few scrapes and bruises." Durlan then looks around to anyone who might indicate they require more healing and offer up to 9 points of lay on hands split amongst the group.
"Additionally, anyone here have any particular knowledge of dragons? I've read a few stories in my time, but as is often the case can be hard to distinguish the fact from where the storyteller's imagination ran wild..." Durlan would like to assist in any checks made to deduce any information about dragon's capabilities.
Three looked downcast again at Durlan's request, but would say nothing against. Though she suspected none were bound to accept it given the injured had already rested and bandaged up what they could, she silently hoped none even as a jest might take up man's request. She perks up soon after however, latching onto the next few words like a life boat and excitedly saying, "Oh oh! I know! Or, uh, I think I know 'bout'em! Boss used to go on and on about wanting to try his hand at mixing in a bit of dragony stuff into his next big thing."Her expression then falters for a moment. "But.. I'm not sure how much it'd help. Boss also said that since dragons were kinda like elves, in that they can pop up just about anywhere, it'd be pretty silly to presume too much without like some physical evidence 'n all that. And all we know so far is that its down here somewhere and... lives by a lotta water?"

Thistle "What do I know about dragons... The older they are the tougher they are. Don't stand close together so it can't get a lot of us with it's breath weapon. If we could get it to breath on an illusion or something that would be great." Looking at Rivon "Do you have that thing where you can avoid all damage from area affects?"
(OOC: Rivon is down 3 points from that acid splash while searching for ooze loot. Might be best to save that for when he drops to zero hp though. :) )

"Dragons are big, powerful, and dangerous." Taman says with a shrug. "Unless we knew the color we cannot really say more than that." He looks around. "Seems we are all healthy, and rested, so shall we continue?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Three kinda gives Thistle a funny look for his last question to Rivon. Yet quick to shrug it off following Taman's request, she looks to 'Tom' and says, "Well oh buddy o' pal 'o mate! Guess your up then!"After leaning the maul just right so that it didn't accidently fall on anyone's feet, she lets it go...

Whether by chance or some sly fingers manipulating its course, Tom falls in the direction of ledge heading eastward before curving towards the north. "Well, I guess that settles that one, huh!"She says says, snatching up the weapon once more and slinging it so that it rested against her shoulder. "Onward that way."She said as she begun to lead the way following the ledge alongside the river.
You continue down the path following the river towards the west. You come to where the path curves north. With no way else to go but up (pun intended).
The rock stairs climb steeply, turn north, and then descend toward the east into a cavern very much like the one you just left, but smaller. A ledge along the river continues east to a door on the north wall and the rushing river separates you from a ledge on the southern side.
A large, strange-looking stalagmite stands in the middle of the southern ledge. A cave fish flops helplessly on the bank nearby.

Rivon pokes around the Ooze innards to see what loot he can find.
Unfortunately, he doesn't find anything except some small burn marks on his hands from the acid still remaining in the Oozes juices. 3 Acid damage.
