Taman is just too slow to hinder Three in any way. He had been too busy fixing his posture to be paying close enough attention to her. with a sigh he followed after, thinking it interesting how, even with Three's antics, the patrons of this place still managed to keep looking at the rest of them at all.
Rivon, after having learned that bribes don't work in this strange land, sits quietly on Three's shoulders and allows the more social team members handle this aspect of things.
Vey follows the others to the rather gaudy tavern but it was a dragon after all and well dragons are awesome! Seeing that Three was the first to spot and charge the red cloaked contact he chuckles and follows after the others.
Fujin saunters away from the group over to a waitress and grabs her attention. "'Scuse me, a bottle o' yer finest for 'at table o'er 'ere if y'please" Pointing to the table where the party has headed over too, he turns back to her and hands her a platinum piece. "Thank ye' kindly." He then catches up with the rest of the group to join in the conversation.

As three sits down next to the hooded figure, she gets a very uneasy feeling, as if her very soul is benig pulled out of her body. The hooded figure gracefully points at the other side of the booth. When the rest of the group catches up to Three, Fujin a little later than the rest, the hooded figure is still pointing at the other side of the booth gesturing for each of you to sit.
As you sit opposite the figure, it slowly lowers the hood.
As the hood is lowered this is who you see under it.
As the hood is lowered, she says, "So, I see that our friends were able to find someone brave enough, or at least stupid enough, to attempt this venture. my name is Nishkir. What questions do you have?"

"What do you know about this place we are headed to?" Taman asks as he regards their contact. "Dangers there, the route we need to take to get there, that sort of thing?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fujin approaches the table and sits, he adds on to the end of Taman's sentence. "What're ye lookin' fer there, What's our objective goin' intah this place t'begin with, and if we be findin' loots other than what ye be lookin' fer is it ours for the taking?" He says, trying to get a good read on this strange woman, her intents, and how her eyes got that bloodshot.
Though she tried not to show it, Three felt cheerful demeanor noteably became more guarded close to the figure. So much so, that when the figure directed her to the other side of the booth, she only stubbornly held her place until the others had reached the table. At which point she joined them on the opposite side, though never let her eyes leave the woman for even a second.
"Those other two kinda already told us what to keep an eye out for, Fuji... At least I'm pretty sure. The real question has Nishkir narrow down where we need to go, or know of a guide that can at least get us close."She comments without taking her eyes off the woman. "Also... why do you feel so icky?" She asks, gesturing briefly to the woman.

Nishkir looks at Taman as he's the first to speak and says, "I don't know much about this temple. No one does, at least no one alive. All I know about it is that a group of adventurers came out her, found some rock that was deemed important, and the next thing you know there's a group of scholars that came by trying to find the temple and most of them never came back". She barely glances at Rivon when he makes his comment. She then continues, "As for what dangers are there, who knows. For me, that's what piques my curiosity, but we'll see what you find first, IF you make it out alive that is. Dangers on the way there are the normal dangers that you'd find in the forests of Chult. Goblins, native Tribes, Dwarves, Pterafolk, Lizardfolk, Dinosaurs, and other denizens of the forest. In regards to finding a guide, you could try, but after the last expedition there and none of the other guides came back, good luck with that. However, if you wish to try you should be able to find some guides around the Beggars' Palaces". (OOC - area 1)
Nishkir then looks over to Fujin, "I believe the first part of your question has already been answered, but if you hadn't heard it, I'm not looking for anything, but the dangers and contents of the temple are what I'm curious about. One of our sister branches the Archaeological Institute requested our assistance with this temple, I was merely the one selected to represent our assistance". You can notice a brief (very brief) look of disgust on her face before she quickly maintains her composure. "Once you have done what you need to do in the temple, the Red Wizards will then go in and do what we need to do. As for what your objective is going into the temple, that should have already been discussed with the scholars who sent you here. For any 'loot' you find, that is between you and the scholars. If they said you can keep any loot or not then so be it. If you ask me, I'd say keep it all, but that's just my opinion, as I really don't care what the scholars have you doing". Nishkir grabs the bottle of aged Elvish Wine that was brought to the table, and pours a glass for everyone. "As long as you clear out the temple, and hopefully mark a clear path to it, the Red Wizards will do the rest".
She then looks at Three, "You're right, the scholars should have already told you what to look for, why I feel 'icky', I am not sure to what you are referring, I feel perfectly fine".
"Aie, I 'eard 'keep all the loot' just now, you hear that too lad?" He says, looking at Rivon. "I'll be takin' that as all the permission I'm needin' then. Of course, we'll turn in the jade whatevers, I don't be havin' much of a use fer those and I'd hafta be a daft bastard to be impedin' the research - or whatever you got goin' on here - for the sake of a few extra coins."

Three listened intently throughout much of Nishkir's replies to the group, though couldn't help narrowing her eyes in suspicion where it came to her own answer. But after a few moments she leans back in her seat with a bit of a huff and arms crossed just beneath her chest. She'd briefly side-eye Rivon as well, a look a touch confused at the look on his face, before shaking her head curtly and focusing back on Nishikir. "If you say so, Nishi. But I'll figure you out yet." She declared. "But back to these guide business. Don't s'pose you know anyone of'em particularly well enough that they might be a bit more willing to listen would'ja?"

Taman sighs at the mention of it being hard to hire a guide. He waits for their contact to finish speaking, and anyone else of his group to comment.
"It seems you have a vested interest in helping us at least get to this temple." Taman comments. "The biggest problem, at least that I can see right now, is actually getting us from here to there. This jungle is vast, and we have no clue even which direction the temple is from here. Unless we get a guide, or some sort of map, we would be lost within an hour of entering the jungle. What are your suggestions for helping us locate this temple?"
Vey listen intently to the red robe Nishkir piping up following Tamans inquiry for advise on a guide/map. “If you don’t mind me asking what do your organization plan to do with the ruins once it’s cleared just out of personal curiosity?. Also I’ve not heard much about this place but I have it on a rather high authority that there is some kind of undead creature in the ruins you wouldn’t happen to know anything about it?” As he mentioned the high authority the wiggles the ring on his finger with a sly smile.
Looking at Three, Nishkira says, "I don't know the guides too well, but there are a couple of guides that I've noticed that seem to be up for almost any adventure. For a share of any treasure, I believe they go by the names of River Mist and Flask of Wine".
Looking at Taman she says, "If you're not able to get any guides to show you around," she slides a small scroll tube over to Taman, "you can use this map. I've already committed it to memory so I won't need it any longer. There are four locations that I can deduce as to where the temple might be:" as she points them out on the map, "Near the Swamp of Sorrows, Near Lake Luo, between the Peaks of Flame and the Kobold Mountains, or possibly on Ubtao's Hand".
She then looks at Vey, a small but wry smile crosses her lips for the briefest of seconds. "I'm certain there are undead roaming around the temple. It wouldn't be a good temple if their weren't. As to what the Red Wizards plan to do with the temple, we have our own research that we'd like to conduct there. After it's been cleared out of course."
Taman smiles as the map is handed over. He looks it over carefully, then rolls it up and slips it into his pack. "Thank you for that." He tells their contact. "I would still feel better about finding a guide, as following a map is not as easy as one would think in a jungle, but at least this gives us a good option to fal back on if needed." he privately thinks it also gives them a way to keep their guide honest, and make sure they aren't leading them off somewhere they don't wish to go.
