Gil would stick his head through the doorway, pushing it under the arm of the kenku as the glowing orb moved so that its light shown into the room. "What do you think that thing is?" The small verdan would ask the kenku. "Should we see what it is? It could be a body with valuables still attached..." Gil would say looking to whistler.
Darvin shines his light toward the body(?), but keeps his distance, preferring not to get his hands and clothes dirty by actually physically inspecting it.
Gil would slowly wade through the water before attempting to turn over the body and search it for anything of value. "Make sure nothing tries to get me while I see if it has anything useful.." The small verdan would say as he begins his search. His drift globe casting light as it hovers over his shoulder.
Looking at the body you see that it is a bloated corpse of a shirtless male human with knife wounds in his back. He looks to have been dead a couple of days. You find nothing of value.

"Welp.. this guy is no use to Aquisitions inc." Gil would say as he moves past the corpse and through the water. He would ask his spectral bat to help him to keep an eye out for threats, traps, or anything of value sparkling in the filthy sewer as his glowing orb floats silently behind him..
Three wooden beams brace the ceiling of this flooded chamber, which features a stone altar covered with entrails in the northeast corner. Hanging on the wall above the altar is a three-foot-tall steel mask cast in the form of a frowning human skull. You recognize that the steel skull mask represents the visage of Bhaal.

Gil would look at the metal mask and frown. "Well that uhh... is a little worrisome." The small verdan would say looking to the others. "I wonder why there are entrails on the alter... " He would add as he approaches the alter and examines it and the statue. "Help me look for any clues as to what is going on down here would ya..." He would say to his spectral bat, asking it for help..

While Gil examines the altar, Darvin will begin the ritual to cast comprehend languages, in case the group runs across unfamiliar text or conversation.
Tibi continues to lazily circle in the room. If possible he tries to fly through the gap behind the altar to see what if anything he can spot behind it.
Gil would shrug and continue to move south, examining the small tunnel to the west before continuing to the east if there is nothing of interest. "I wonder why someone would volenteer to have their intestines offered up to a metal mask.." The small verdan would wonder aloud.
You pass out of the room with the altar and come across a small alcove. The back wall of this dry alcove is hung with a 5-foot-wide, 7-foot-tall tapestry. It depicts a grisly scene of four faceless figures ripping apart a fifth figure, who is screaming. Inspecting the tapestry you notice yellow mold growing around its edges.
The passage rises and you find another chamber that is empty but not bereft of decor. Carved into each of its three doors is a full-figure depiction of one of the Dead Three.
East Door. The face of this door bears a carving of Bane, the lawful evil god of tyranny, who is depicted as a tall, armored man wearing a bucket helm. His right gauntlet is painted black and clutches a set of shackles.
North Door. This door bears a carving of Bhaal, the chaotic evil god of murder. He’s depicted as a powerfully built, skull-headed man with long, curved blades where his hands should be.
South Door. This door bears a carving of Myrkul, the neutral evil Lord of Bones. He is portrayed as a cloaked figure whose face is hidden under a cowl. In his skeletal hands, he clutches a screaming human skull.
"Well... none of those doors look very inviting" Gil would say looking to the others. "Any preference as to which door we open?" The small verdan would ask as he pulls out his wand of magic detection and holds it out in front of him. "Let's see if any of these have any magical traps on them first I suppose... " He would add with a smile as he cast detect magic

Tibi pulls out his coin "Lets see what Tymora says? Heads (1-2) its between Bane and Baal, Tails(3-4) its Myrkul!" as he tosses the coin in the air catches it and flips it over onto his wrist (2). You see nothing of interest around it behind the steel mask. It is solid with no openings.
Whilst Darvin and Gilbert investigate the alter, Whistler keeps an eye out for any sign others around and in case they approach.

"If you don't see any traps on there... I can go first.. I am pretty tough" The small verdan would say with a smile as he moves to open the door.
Whistler just shakes his head at Tibis antics with the coin before following into the tunnel.
You push open the door and see a chamber that has three robed bodies lying on the floor in the shape of a triangle.
