The goblins lose their turn in the first round of combat. You guys are still on the other side of the stream btw. The stream is difficult terrain so you move half as fast across it. Inxori is behind cover (the thickets/trees) so they get +2 to their ac and dex saving throws.
All of your characters are 20 feet away from the goblins and behind the trees, so everyone has cover as long as you stay where you are.
I'm giving Inxori first attack regardless since he surprised the goblins. Oh, Baconoid rolled highest anyways. Fate sure is funny, huh? Fae and a goblin both rolled the same number, usually ties in initiative are resolved by another roll, but we don't exactly have time for that so I'll decide by whoever has the highest initiative/dex modifier. In this case the goblin wins. Not that it matters much, since the goblins are surprised the first round. Goblin health: 8, 6
Attack Order:
Inxori
Ugly goblin
Rigg
Grouchy goblin
Fae
Enkindle
Sigh, oh, how we have fallen. From 6 to 4. From 10 combatants in the first battle to 6. A moment of silence please...
The impact of the fire bolt is too much for the goblin to handle. Its burnt body falls lifeless to the ground. You can smell the scent of charcoal as the wind wafts past you.
Rigg looks over to Inx, "Good work, kid" then charges through the easily passable stream, shield forward. He reaches the goblin and without a word swings his longsword, going for the torso of the creature.
Rigg's slash appears completely harmless at first glance, but after a single second a diagonal line becomes visible from across the goblins shoulder to its waist. The goblins upper half begins to slowly slide across its lower half until it flops to the ground. The grumpy goblin's lower half is still seated in the chair it sat to play cards with the ugly goblin. He never saw it coming... The poor bastard.
Yeah, the goblin died.
Now all that's left is the cave entrance to Cragmaw Hideout. The insides of which are completely enshrouded by the darkness and mysteries that lie within. What became of Gundren Rockseeker and his companion Sildar Hallwinter? What manner of villainy could they possibly face? What will our brave adventurer's do next?
And yeah, that was my way of saying it's dark in there, so it's heavily obscured. Those without darkvision will require a light source. Rigg is the only one without darkvision. And those with darkvision still get lightly obscured in darkness, so that means you have disadvantage on perception checks.
Fae would grin, holding up her handaxe at the ready for Inx’s signal. “You got it!”
just an unstable unicorn.
OOC: Oh! From Enkindle's Guidance! Thanks!

Everyone roll for initiative.
Wait, never mind about the cover. The trees are on the other side of the stream, so you guys can't duck behind them.
OOC: Still roll for initiative?
Eldak|Baconoid|Inxori
Yeah, yeah, roll for initiative. Oh, and only Inxori is 20 feet from them since he took the lead. Everyone else is 25 feet away.
Inxori, initiative: 20
Eldak|Baconoid|Inxori
Enkindle, Initiative: 7.
When you realize you're doing too much: Signature.
Fae initiative: 11
just an unstable unicorn.
Rigg initiative: 12
Goblin initiative: 18, 11

Yeah, the goblin died.
IC: "Nice cut, Rigg! Everyone, shall we enter the hideout, or try to draw them out here?"
