The elf gasps in pain as Bazavur comes in swinging. As three pairs of boots come clumping towards you, he shouts out, in draconic: Defend me!
Cultists surge from the tunnel, and as instructed, move to attack Bazavur; only one is able to reach him in time to attack this turn, the others dashing to get into position.
Soar snarls at the elf, and grits her teeth, hoisting Hazirawn. She still looks like Talis, carrying Talis weapons (believe we saw her with a short sword?), so assumedly this attack is going to be pretty shocking. Before she does this, she drops her hexblade's curse on him (bonus action).
Attack: 12 Damage: 16 plus 8 necrotic from Hazirawn and 3 from hex Extra Attack: 28 Damage: 16 plus 6 necrotic from Hazirawn and 6 from hex
On a success she'll drop a smite -- will do so in the next post if so.
With his reaction, Jalt casts War God's blessing on Soar's first attack (+10 to Soar's attack roll). He then casts Guiding Bolt lvl 3 at the dragon Attack: 13 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Soar, about to miss with her first attack, hears the blessing of Bahamut and shifts her strike. She can feel the god's presence, and then draws more power from Kelemvor to smite her foe.
With two strange, part radiant part necrotic attacks, Soar and Hazirawn utterly destroy this elf, killing him outright with their second blow. He looks shocked, utterly disbelieving as the second strike cuts deep into his stomach; he seems to whisper something as he falls, but the cavern is too noisy for you to hear. The dragon seems furious, but then Jalt's guiding bolt hits and it seems to understand that it is fighting for its life as well.
The dragon flies up, above you all, and you feel a tremendous wave of dread come over you. Everyone please make a WIS save, DC 16, and become frightened of the dragon on a fail. This is not a charm effect.
Soar heals 6hp from hexblade’s curse as the elf falls. She looks up at the dragon, about to cower, but then she remembers she’s seen this before and there’s no need to be afraid. She stands up and raises Hazirawn a foot, defiantly, and beckons the dragon closer.
(Okay, technical stuff: I believe Tangle is next after the Guiding Bolt, so Advantage, but she has several sources of Disadvantage, incl. Frightened and attacking at range while in melee with an enemy, but luckily they don't stack, so she just has a normal shot at the dragon...)
Tangle takes an involuntary step back into the wall as the dragon's sheer aura sends a chill into her bones, but she draws an arrow anyway, and nocks and pulls, forcing herself to stare at the dragon, then looses.
Move: no, she's in a corner and can't really go anywhere that isn't closer to the dragon Bonus Action: Insightful Fighting, trying to ascertain a weak point on the dragon. Insight roll of 29 vs dragon's Deception... Action: shoot dragon with regular arrow with Sneak Damage from Insightful Fighting (assuming dragon does not make a Deception roll of 29, but if it does, just remove the 4d6)
And... she rolled a 1 to hit. Le sigh. Not gonna bother with damage. At least Insightful Fighting lasts for a minute.
Reaction: reserved for uncanny dodge or evasion, depending on who attacks her with what.

ey/em/eirs, or they/them works, too (just not he). Role-playing since that keep on those borderlands. I love it so.
Bazavur watches as Soar is engaged in combat and rushes quickly to her side. Unleashing on their foe with two quick slashes of his greatsword.
Attack: 27 Damage: 3+2+5
Attack: 19 Damage: 2+4+5

C1:
Scimitar Attack: 14 Damage: 7 slashing plus 5 poison damage.
Scimitar Attack: 21 Damage: 5 slashing plus 6 poison damage.
I think Bazavur takes 8 damage?

With Bazavur now all but surrounded, Jalt and Soar are up.
Attack: 12 Damage: 16 plus 8 necrotic from Hazirawn and 3 from hex
Extra Attack: 28 Damage: 16 plus 6 necrotic from Hazirawn and 6 from hex
On a success she'll drop a smite -- will do so in the next post if so.
Tales from beyond: 3
That second attack is a crit thanks to hexblade's curse critting on a 19 and 20. So:
Smite for second attack that hits as normal (radiant): 11
Double dice rolls for Hazirawn's second attack being a crit: 9 slashing
Hazirawn crit necrotic: 7
Hex crit necrotic: 5
Smite crit radiant: 10
(If Jalt boosts the first attack to a hit, I'll roll an extra smite in a third post so as not to mess this one up.)
With his reaction, Jalt casts War God's blessing on Soar's first attack (+10 to Soar's attack roll). He then casts Guiding Bolt lvl 3 at the dragon Attack: 13 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll.

Bazavur gets +4 on his save even though it doesn’t get him to 16.

The dragon swoops down to attack Soar:
Bite Attack: 28 Damage: 11 piercing damage plus 7 poison damage
Claw Attack: 31 Damage: 13 slashing damage
Claw Attack: 16 Damage: 16 slashing damage
That should be 22 points of damage. Let me know if there are any reductions. Is your hex concentration? Give me CON saves if so.

You will pay for that, the dragon hisses in draconic, seemingly at you all. It remains, hovering just above Soar.
Tangle, you are frightened and up.

Yeah, that's a miss. The arrow does a pathetic arc after your misfire, and plonks into the water.
The cultists surrounding Bazavur react with gasps of outrage as the elf falls, and one redirects their attacks at Soar:
Three more cultists come running into the chamber.
