Enkindle did indeed follow through, and as loosely promise spread awareness of a massive, two-headed, tentacle armed demon being summoned up by the Kuo-Toa. That, and a warning that those that weren't fast enough to flee, were either driven mad in its presence, or slain. Her own group did not dare stick around long enough to learn more, but from what was seen, Sloopadoop is as good as no more.
"Sounds like this strange cult bullshit aughta be nipped in the bud sooner than later. 'cause if it escalates to the same business as what those fish ****ers little shendig, things are gonna go south right quick."Enkindle admits as much, then after rubbing her chin in thought adds, "Look.. I know ya guys probably got yer own way of handling it. But on the off chance this price fer Ylsa' caravan turns out to be a bit much fer me 'nd mine. Think ye'd be willing to toss a few her way in exchange fer help'n out with yer side problem? Got a few other friends 'nd town itch'n to get back to the surface, so it comes to it, its a fair enough trade without having to risk yer own folk fer it."She offers.
Rather it is accepted or not, Enkindle takes back the information to the Inn, her heart doing flips over the new possibility at hand. And for once, she seeks out the Kenku, only to say, "MInd.. Mind doin' me a solid 'nd, let'n me talk to the *shudders* Goop in the jar?"
Later on in the evening, Umbra had communicated to Svana, and something not even Jezzika knew was revealed.
This is not the first universe I have consumed.
I have spread my being over many realities. Consuming. Infecting. Regrowing. Evolving it in my image. When this universe had been born and I entered, some Gods of this reality opposed me, wounded me, forced me into the core of a star hoping to destroy me. Having thought defeated me, they were wrong, and I regrew my strength. I made it my home. I continued my scourge. Every world in this cosmos that have destroyed had a herald I nurtured, a messenger, a voice, an avatar - a being containing the vastness of my power to usher and rule that world during it's eventual evolution. The woman you laid with is the herald of this world, she will be the one to usher a new area to this pathetic planet. I will use her to cleanse the taint of life and my shadow will grow in the vision that I see fit. She will have power exponential. Through the heralds I will spread. It is unstoppable.
Your world will end, soon. But, there is a way to escape your pointless, meaningless life and avoid a painful death by her hands.
Servitude. Serve me and I will make you a herald of a world of your choice to usher in the glory of my corruption. You will be transformed. You will have the power of the cosmos in your hands and your simple, earthy concerns, wants, and desires will melt away - you will be transformed into a being of pure, raw energy and shadow. You will be more powerful than you could ever possibly comprehend.
Everything will be yours. Everything you will know. And, everything..you will have.
Step Step Thud looks suspiciously at Enkindle, holding Glabbagool protectively away from her, "Why? You don't seem happy. Tell me why. Glabbagool is friend, no violence to him."
Enkindle: The duergar forces have the cultist situation under control, but if you guys don't have enough money for the caravan ride, a deal can be worked out once you find out how much it is.
Taking Ashryn into his arms, Quinn moves through the interior of the inn as if it was his own home. Making the bartender not understand when or how a coin showed up spinning at the bar in front of him.
At this point, Quinn has made his way up the stairs, carrying Ashryn with him.
Enkindle rolls her eyes, and crosses her arms. "Fer Helm's sake, If I wanted to ****'em up, you hold'em like that wouldn't be enough to stop me... Plus, I would'a already done it by now. Iron Lung's "threats" be as good as the nine's promises."She frowns and looks askance for a moment. "'nd I never look happy anyways." She mutters just loud enough for Step Step Thud to overhear prior to briskly grabbing him by the shoulders. "Just 'ave 'im do that brain thing again, alright, Weirdo. We ain't got all night, 'nd its important, 'cuz we might get a smoother ride to the surface."
Ash lets out a surprised yelp as Quinn sweeps her into a bridal style hold and carries her upstairs. She is honestly speechless and blushing a deep red again.
Is there something about this night that's just put everyone in this mood?
Ash blushes a bright red, feeling vulnerable and exposed, glancing at the Silk cloth. "I do trust you... But... what is that for?" She thinks for a minute on his second question, leaning up to plant a soft kiss on his lips. "And black roses. Why?

Step Step Thud glares at Enkindle, and Glabbagool speaks up from behind him, Hello! Who are you? I've noticed you use a lot of words that the others don't, why is that? What do you want me to talk about? Where is the "surface"?
As agile and sure as his previous moves had been, Quinn blindfolds Ash and lay her down, on her belly. Her arms spread out, her hands swiftly tied to the bed.
The sweet perfume of roses dominates the air, as she feels the warmth of an oily substance spreading down her back.
I cannot hide from thee how much I fear The whispers breathed by flatterers in thine ear Against my faith: — but turn not, oh! I pray, That heart so true, so faithful, so sincere, So humble and so frank, to me so dear, O lady turn it not from me away!
Svana is jolted from her slumber at the end of Umbra speaking to her for the first time, eyes wide, breathing erratic, body almost paralyzed at what they told her. After a few minutes of staring at the ceiling, she finally regains the ability to blink her eyes and slowly start to move her body. She sits up and brings a hand at rub at her temple as an attempt to assuage the pounding headache she woke up with, mainly because of the wine from earlier in the evening, and partially because of the information she was given.
The elf sits there, her eyes drifting from the end of the bed to the sleeping nude warlock next to her, a soft smile tugging at her lips. Despite the alcohol, she remembered their moments just a few hours prior, having to ignore the pleasurable shiver that ran down her spine. She wanted to wake Jezzika, to talk to her about what Umbra had told her, to express her concerns, to buy more time if possible... But she looked lovely, peaceful. Svana laid back down next to her and brushed a stray hair away from her drow's cheek to behind her ear.
Maybe later.

Ronnal going through his things he puts on his Signet Ring on his ring finger. (The ring depicts a Maul smashing a mindflayer skull.) "Get some rest friends, I shall be here in the morning waiting when y'all awake." Ronnal leaves the inn and begins to head towards the noble district. The guards step up to stop him but Ronnal is ready. He presents his ring as well as his scroll of pedigree. Without much resistance mostly because his friends are not with him they let him pass.
Walking in silence Ronnal begins to remember the day his father kicked him out and sent him to the Fortress of Deep Duerra. The streets still the same, the people still the same. Some of the folks even recognize Ronnal, seeing that he has become Cleric of War many Duergar Noblemen offer their daughters or sisters to him to combine their clans. However Ronnal declines seeing as his mission to purge the demon threat has just begun he has no time to think about an offspring.
Finally arriving home the guards immediately recognize Ronnal and welcome him home "Master Ronnal! You are back and as a Cleric of War! Your mother will be most pleased. You're father he is ill..."
Ronnal caught of guard shows a face off worry "What! Explain what happen while I was away."
The guards continue to explain that Ronnal's father had be afflicted by madness these past few weeks. They also explained his sister has been considering to over through their father as head of the clan. "You're sister Raz'nal has been making moves to over throw you're father's position as clan leader. Your younger brother Ro'znal supports this."
Ronnal not entirely upset thinks to himself "Well he always said he wanted someone strong to take his place but to do so while he is sick is cowardly."Ronnal decided enough is enough just because he wasn't around while the other two got spoiled. "I won't stand for such cowardice! Take me to my father at once!"
The guards take him to his father who lies resting in his bed his mother along side she rejoices once she see Ronnal. "Son you've returned! Oh how I missed you, your father he's.."
"I know the guards have already brought it to my attention. Their are Demons tearing their way in the Underdark that's why people have been having nightmares and bouts of madness."
"Demons!" His mother exclaims "Do not worry some people... I mean friends and I are investigating it. Anyway I've come to help father and take his position as Clan Leader. Clearly he has grown to old and can not defend himself against Raz'nal and Ro'znal. I will see to it that both you and father will be taken care of while I am away dealing with the demons and helping my friends on their quest to escape the Underdark. Now leave me with father and call for Raz'nal and Ro'znal to meet in the study they will respect my will!" Seeing her son who once wanted to be a blacksmith and have nothing to do with the clan. Now changed into a figure worthy of respect, her only answer was yes.
Sitting alone with his father Ronnal chants a prayer of Lesser Restoration, hoping to clear his father's mind from the madness. His father's eyes begin to slowly open "Ronnal? Is that you?"
"Yes, Father to see you in this state it saddens me. Deep Duerra has given me a sign father. I have come to take my place as leader just like you wanted..."
"I see you have finally decided to take your right place by my side."
"No, I have come for the whole as of today I will lead the clan."
"What!? You can't..."
"I can and I will you can't even protect yourself how can you lead! Did you know while you slept Ran'zal and Ro'znal plot to kill you and take over."
His father silent baffled by this turn of events "You will give me your blessing and I will put those two in their place."
His father stunned and proud at the same time "I understand son. I shall let the others know of your decision."
Coming to the study Ronnal's sister and younger brother watch in suprises as their father walks to them full awake and healthy. Their expression of surprise turn to hate as they see Ronnal come down after their father.
"What's he doing here." Raz'nal scowls at Ronnal.
"I've come to take my place as clan leader."Ronnal just watch has is her face turns red with angry.
"WHAT!? I WON'T STAND FO.."
Ronnal using Thaumaturgy to make the ground shake and his voice deeper. "I AM THE AVATAR OF WAR! I WILL CRUSH YOU AND OUR PATHETIC BROTHER! You cowards! Skimming against our father while he slept. I should just KILL YOU two now but I've learned alot during my travels especially about family. I will finish my journey that Deep Duerra has set for me and once I return thing WILL be different!"
Caught of guard his siblings had no choice but to accept. That night Ronnal spent the night in the armory getting armor and funds to pay for their trip.
