Shae’s body would be involuntarily shaking as the Professor and Maxine plead their case, entirely stunned out of her wits, she couldn’t even form thoughts. She was simply blank and staring wide eyed trying to wrap her mind around their situation. It’d take until Maxine drops unconscious with one swift movement from the hag that she snaps out of it. She’ll try to run to Maxine’s body to provide cover. While the guys ready up, Shae will focus on scanning the area for any signs of the hag or any changes in the atmosphere and check on Maxine’s state.

The Professor:
The frustration of fighting for every inch of progress in this jungle wars with true fright from such a formidable foe in the Professor's small form. When the hag cavalierly waves her hand and overwhelms Maxine, Snively's control dissolves and his anger boils over!
Arcana check to know what the hag did to Maxine: 15
OOC: The Professor is planning to try and force the Horned Lady's hand when his turn arrives. This could anger her into attacking us, which may be a bad idea, or we may get an actual answer. So, Nemocaptain, is the Professor in enough command of his faculties to be able to follow through on such an action, or is the fear too strong? Maxine, Shae, Berrus, are you up for the Professor to try some aggressive negotiations, or should we back off now?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Shae, as soon as the Hag has disappeared from view, the warm comfortable sensation returns, and you hear Kam's voice once more: "Shae, you're in no state to stand up to the Mother of the Stone, and it would be a terrible bother finding a new agent for the divine will...Get your friends and RUN!!"
Looking over Maxine, she doesn't seem hurt.
Professor, the anger is strong enough to provide you with clarity: You see a path laid in front of you, and are determined to carry it through. Just as you form your plan, four whisps fly in towards your position, all buzzing with energy. The hag remains absent.
Three of the balls of energy fly towards Shae, and once in range, try to unload their charge.
Initiative for the whisps: 16161023
Whisps attack: 12 and 20, 8
for 11 lightning damage
Hag: initiative 11 and 24 for her spell
Suddenly, the hag reappears, and looking intently at Shae, whispers: "Goodbye" and carries out the same hand gesture as before. Shae also drops unconscious. The hag remains standing in the middle of the circle, cackling, and spreading her arms, as if ready to embrace all the chaos of the world.
Professor, you're pretty certain that the hag employed some form of charm, but since you've specialized in a different school, and the hag seems to be casting without any materials, you're unable to determine anything beyond that.

14Shae would make a sudden face of confusion when Kam’s voice would return for that moment. But you’re the one who told me to find her...
When the hag would reappear, fear will flood back over Shae. She’ll look to Berrus, placing a hand on his forearm. “Run.” Was all she could get out before all went black.

Would this be happening too fast for Shae to act/react?
Thought was to cast guidance on Berrus when she tells him to run and/or hellish rebuke in reaction to the hag attacking her.
Unsure how I had a D20 at the top of the post must have fat fingers something during formatting. I won’t remove it to avoid the dice manipulation text. But my true con save is the one beside con save at a 9
OOC: Any OOC comments from the party? The Professor has a ‘plan’, such as it is, but it will be more dangerous that just running away. I don’t want to make the decision for the Professor and possibly make the situation worse if the rest of the team wants us to run away and not take the risk...

Berrus and Professor, you get to act before the last whisp. For the moment, the hag is still visible. As far as your comrades are concerned, they are both unconscious but do not seem to have been harmed physically.

Simmering in anger and fear, the Professor moves away from the circle and the hag to stand over by Berrus, on the edge of running but not willing to leave his two unconscious companions behind. Using his body to shield his downed companions from the attacking wisps, he reaches out his hand and the ground under the nearest symbol of the summoning circle begins to tremble.
”Cease your attack and release my friends!” The Professor yells at the Hag, “or, by Mystra, I will undo your circle!”
Readied action to excavate the symbol using Mold Earth if the Horned Lady initiates any further hostile action (including even starting with that hand gesture thing).

Berrus, your protection works as a reaction, you still get to make actions beyond that.
Professor, as you utter your threat, the hag only laughs, and with a snap of her fingers, you suddenly see two hags before you, laughing. You also notice however that the whisps refrain from attacking you.
”Begone, mortal, before we send your comrades to a sleep they won’t wake up from!”, both hags shout at you both.

Professor, if you still want to, you can destroy her circle. The hags just warned you is all.
With your attention to their actions, it seems as though one of the hags is simply an illusory duplicate, but the threat still seems real enough to you. So far, the hag has either been toying with you, or she has already achieved what she set out to do. Either way, if she wanted to, she could hurt you far worse, and seems intent to do so, if you don’t back off.
Berrus, neither the whisps nor the hags seem to be interfering with you dragging the two unconscious bodies away from the circle.

Berrus is looking for a defensible position in the immediate area, far enough away from the circle , if he sees one he will carry Shae and Maxine to that spot
The most defensible position would be the skull, otherwise back the way you came. Looking over both, they seem fine physically, just asleep.

The Professor's held action was for it the hag did something hostile, especially if it involved that hand waving that made people pass out. If he detected hostile intent or if the snap looked similar to the knock-out hand gesture, it would have triggered his readied action (I am hoping his roll was high enough that it did not trigger the held action since she didn't actually attack).

OOC: It didn't trigger, I think I got your intent there. Sorry about not making it clearer, but the summoning circle is at the bottom of the circle, and the skull seems to be the lair of the hag...
As the Professor and Berrus are withdrawing their unconscious friends, the hags disappear once more, and the further they get away from the circle, the less hostile the whisps seem.
For all intents and purposes, if you want to withdraw, the combat will be considered over. The whisps are there to guard the area, but as long as no hostile action comes from your part, they won't attack themselves.
