The sight of the disemboweled young man would be burned into the back of her mind right along side the corpse of the boy from before. There were things she had seen before that she would consider much worse, but this didn't make it any less traumatizing for her. It also didn't help that she knew that they were heading right for the person who was behind all of this... what if they failed? Would they be displayed like this? Experimented on? Her heart started to race as panic began to try and set into her system, however she is able to keep herself ground by focusing on controlling her breathing, ultimately needing to keep her mind on something else as they began to move on.
... The skeletons were a good distraction, and she used that laughter that echoed in the room to fuel the anger that had been set aside momentarily. She raise her bow, and shot off some arrows.

Although the sickening stench last might have shown him to be otherwise, Nadar was fairly inured to death, all things considered at the end of the day. So, rather be taken in by grief at another child's body, he appeared similar interested as Angar; taking on a more scholarly mindset to break down possibilities. The potential seeking of a cure aside, one thought lingered as he proceeded after the others. The thought being how far was the 'Master' willing to go with his experiments. Could it even be that some horrible amalgamation of parts awaited the group at the bottom of the tomb...?
The question left him blind to Angar's recasting of a spell. Literally, if man also approached from his left. Only in the slam of a closing door did he finally hop tracks, and properly take in the group's surroundings. "Ah... another trap then. How quaint." Nadaar cracks his neck, and following a whispered word to the Tressym to stay safe, he meander his way just to the south of one and dredged up a great gout of acidic death for the hopeful destruction of several skeletons.

7 and 4 vs Nadia Attack: 22 Damage: 6 Attack: 23 Damage: 8
As Zack rushes by to get in the middle of a a group of skeletons in order to do the most damage possible. In doing so skeleton 12 swings a rusty sword at Zack, nicking him with a small cut as he passes. Zack stops surrounded by enemies, letting go of his sword the blade whirls around him in a deadly dance. The blade cuts into Skeleton #8 but fails to damage the other enemies who seem to be able to dodge the blade with surprising grace.
Nadia meanwhile sticks with a more traditional approach to killing undead, firing two arrows at the nearest skeleton. The first arrow passes between the undead rib cage, an impressive shot but not what was intended. The second arrow thankfully hits the skeleton right in the head, knocking its boney skull right off as the rest of the animated bones collapse back into the tomb.
Skeleton 9 manages to avoid to burnt of the attack by ducking into its tomb, but this catches 6 and 3 off guard causing them to get faces full of acid. The smell of burnt bone and cinnamon permeates through the air as Nadaar wipes away excess acid from his maw.
Angar moves along the side of the wall, sticking close to the statue, before aiming Yoric at skeleton 3 and firing another bolt of frost. The frigid beam causes the skeleton to explode on a blast of bone and ice as its destroyed.
Surrounded by enemies, 5,6, 8 and 9 all take swings at Zack in a way that looks like the assassination of ceasar a gang initiation, most them getting decent stabs into the fighter(17 dam)
Skeletons 2 and 1 draw shortbow and aim their arrows at Angar who is standing at the foot of the statue. Skeleton 2 finds its unable to attack the death whisper and instead looses the arrow at Zack (another 4 dam). Skeleton 1 finds it can attack Angar just fine but luckily the arrow misses and breaks against the stone statue.
Skeleton 10 also draws a shortbow while #11 graves its blade and makes it's way towards Nadaar. An arrow flies by Nadaars head, missing by a whisker and drawing his attention to his left. Just as Nadaar turns to look at the direction the arrow came from his sees skeleton 11 thrusting its sword forward and into Nadaar upper thigh. (8 dam)
While all this is happening, skeletons 7 and 4 both take aim and fire arrows at Nadia. The first arrow smashes against the stone wall behind her while the second arrow strikes her painfully in shoulder. (9 dam)

It wasn't that Zack didn't care about the boy, but he was noticing that everything here seemed to be setup intentionally, as if to make one slowly lose themselves in sadness at the horrific sights. And as much as Zack wanted to look more into it all, he had chosen, to ignore anything that wasn't nessecary to defeating the cause of this all. Anything else would wait, as it would only distract him, and he felt that was the intent of the ******* behind it all, to delay, to depress...
The assassination attempt wasn't nearly as effective as it thought it was, as the skeletons perpetual smiles faded when they noticed that faint shimmer of magical energy surrounding the fighter that he'd used when 12 had made its attempt to harm him before and any attack under (21) simply bounces off, ineffectually against the magical force that had spared him from so much pain in the past.
Seeing so many of them evade it almost disheartened him, and he considered simply attacking as normal, but decided.. for better or worse, to stay the course. And this time, growling in frustration he made his weapon become a tornado of steel once more, before they all had time to recover from dodging the initial one.

"Gah!" Nadaar whips around growling at number 12. "Again with the thigh! Graagh! Enough of that." Taking the already in hand staff in both, Nadaar casts aside the usual grace to slam it over the top of a skeleton's head. Whether lands as he wanted to or not, he quickly draws a scimitar, and somewhat awkwardly held it while trying to maintain a defensive posture with the off-balancing staff.
Then he sees Zack not just surrounding, but taking a beating. "Well done, Zack. You're doing well. But see if they like the taste of steel and flame as much as our last foes have!" He said with a bit of an encouraging chuckle near the end. In spite of their difference, perhaps there was some truth to Nadaar's words. For the words spoke deeper than just the surface, and for a brief instance, kindled the resolve to shrug off his injuries.
Action:Attack w/ Death Staff. To Hit:21 For: 11 Necrotic Damage plus 4 from Defensive Flourish on a hit. (if a crit, add 23) additional damage to number 12, and the flourish damage being added to Nadaar's AC.

Nadia hisses in pain at the arrow hitting its mark on her shoulder, the ranger taking a second to pull it out, causing another hiss to emit past her lips. Zack attempts the same maneuver, having his blade swirl around him like a tornado of death. Unfortunately due to his rolls it's more like a tornado of minor inconvenience the skeletons seem to see this coming and most avoid the attack and those who don't are hardly affected at all.
Nadaar meanwhile attempts to pit skull against skull as he swings the stolen staff down at skeleton 11, but in classic Nadaar fashion he misses and the skeleton is unharmed.
Luckily Nadia, The competent one of the group, Is able to hit her targets. The first arrow strikes skeleton 7 in the sternum and the second strikes #4 in the same spot. While skeleton 7 remains standing skeleton 4 falls apart as the arrow strikes it.
Seeing the skeleton Nadia just shot remaining standing, Amgar aims Yoric at it and fires his ray of frost, striking the animated bones and causing it to collapse into a frozen pile of bones.
With two more skeletons out of the fight, the remaining start to retaliate once more. 10 shifts its aim to Nadia and looses as arrow her way while 11 goes to slash at Nadaars chest. Luckily for them both the arrow misses wildly and the skeleton attacking Nadaar seems confused by Nadaar poor attempts to destroy it, causing its attack to be disjointed and off balance.
Over by Zack, Skeletons 5 6 8 and 9 all repeat their jumping of the fighter and try to stab as many holes in him as possible. And the gang of skeletons mob Zack their blades come down on him like a freshly cooked turkey. What might have been a very deadly attack was blocked however as that ever helpful blue glow flashed and protected Zack from the would be assassins blades.
Both 1 and 2 aim at Angar but once again the death whisperes connection with the dead prevents them from wanting to do harm to him. Instead 1 targets Nadaar and 2 Nadia, both loosing their arrows in unison. The arrow targeting Nadaar misses wide, luckily for the unluckiest dragonborn alive, and the second arrow, while striking Nadia, only causes a minor scratch to her leg before breaking on the floor.
Zack seeing that his attempts to use this new skill were proving to be ineffectual, he sigh-growls as the blade once mroe enters his gloved-grip, Feeling the heft in the weapon, he just smiles, finally accepting It seems the old fashioned way is still the best for me after-all... he sends a silent thank you to his C.O. for having given him the skills he has now as his blade is shifted then slashed in a crescent horizontal arc at 6. Yeah Nadaar, thanks, Just trying to expand my arsenal, but it seems I still need practice!
"Practice does make perfect, after all!" Nadia pipes in as she lets loose another two arrows on the skeletons. "Just don't get too crazy with it, might hurt yourself one of those times!"

Scowling, Nadaar casts aside the staff altogether to draw out his second scimitar. "Cumbersome thing." He mutters derisively as he swung at the skeleton. But either the skeleton was a parrying god in life, or growing frustration was starting to get to the would be sword dancer. For not a one finds purchase in more than its shield at best.
10 and 1-> Nadia Attack: 15 Damage: 8 Attack: 18 Damage: 8 (disregard the 12 dam. Using a crit card. Is actually 24 dam)
11->Nadaar Attack: 8 Damage: 5
A->1 Attack: 23 Damage: 18
Zacks blade destroys skeleton 6 with just its sheer weight, sending bones scattering in all directions. The fire leaps from the blade and engulfs skeleton 5 for a brief moment. When the flames recede the skeleton remains standing albeit smoking, charred and looking ready to crumble.
Nadia meanwhile fires two arrows with deadly accuracy to the other side of the room, one arrow striking skeleton 1 in the head and the second hitting Skelton 2 with enough force to cause the animated pile of bones to become an inert pile of bones.
Meanwhile Nadar.
Angar, seeing skeleton 1 looking weak, decides to attempt to finish it off with another frost ray. Angar aims Yoric, but just as he finishes the spell and the ray fires forth, Angar grabs his head as a sudden jolt of pain overcomes him. He falls to his knee and tries to catch his breath. The frost ray strikes the skeleton but with much less power than anticipated. Skeleton 1 remains up but slowed.
With one of their number down, the gang of skeletons continues to try and cut down the fighter, but this time no magic is needed to deflect the I coming blades as Zack falls back to his training and blocks each blow like a master swordsman.
From across the room Skeleton 10 and 1 both take aim and the annoying archer who has been taking out skeletons left and right. Both loose their arrows at the elf, one arrow missing the ranger but the other striking her square in the chest. Nadias lungs start to fill with blood as the arrow digs deep into her chest, causing her to feel back in pain for moment.
Nadaar is momentarily distracted when he hears Nadias cry of pain, his attention being forced to her to see if she is ok. His attention is almost immediately drawn back to the threat infront of him as he feel a sword slash across his arm and draw blood.
Angar stands back up and regains his breath. He shakily aims Yoric back at Skeleton 1 to try and finish off the creature. Unfortunately another jolt of pain hits Amgar just as he fires the frost ray, causing it to just barely miss its target.
Zack too hears Nadia's cry of pain, after hearing the very solid thunk of an arrow piercing armor and flesh. And his eyes go wide, as a trained fighter like him can tell that that one arrow did far more damage than one would assume it could. And as much as he wanted to run to her side, if he left this spot, the other skeletons might just collapse on her and Nadaar. Shit! Nadaar, keep her safe, I'll finish off these guys as fast as possible...striking out at 6 with a hard swing, intending to shatter it like he had the other.
Regardless, Zack feels the adrenaline pumping after seeing Nadia take such an egregious hit, he can feel a surge of action within him.
If 6 is still up, he'll stay there and instead attack 8 with BFB as well. If 6 has fallen, he'll run past 8 to 10 and BFB it instead.
Regardless of which happens, he will move to the space between 10/11

The first missed arrow distracted the ranger just enough for her to not see the second incoming attack, leaving her wide open for another arrow to puncture her straight in the chest and cause her to stumble back against the wall. "Carajo--!" She seethes as she quickly discards the arrow (followed by another small cry escaping past her throat), and presses a hand to her chest to put pressure on the wound.
Action 1: Heal 11
"I-I'm good! I'm good... Just, uh... Just need to catch a breath..." She manages to get out to not worry the others, trying her best to not focus on the throbbing at her chest. After a moment, she is able to compose herself just enough to shoot off a few arrows at the ****ers who shot at her.

"A little busy at the moment." Nadaar admitted, much to his own frustration and shame. But no matter how swiftly he wished to end the duel, the lack of flesh made it hard to swipe at something integral. At least that is the story he told himself, refusing at this point to consider the missing eye or his own failing to fully adapt to the problem.
With a roar using the second swing, he managed to bite deep into the sternum, staggering it for a second while he swept into a marginally more defensive form. Breathing heavily as he was however, he knew -- any who saw him knew -- that the Dragonborn might not be up for long as well if things continued on their course.
Bonus Action: Attack w/ (Off-Hand)Scimitar. To Hit: Attack: 12 For: 7 Slashing Damage to Skeleton[11]. Expending a Bardic Die for Defensive Flourish, adding 8 to both damage and Nadaar's AC. (or [10] if 11 is down, or move [9] if both are down.)
Zack cuts down skeleton 8 with one quick swing, the fire leaping to singe the nearby skeleton. Zack then rushes forth to target skeleton 10, but in doing so provides and opening for 5 and 9 at retaliate. The first attack gives Zack a decent cut across his back and the other simply bounces off his armor. Once Zack is in rage of Skeleton 10 he shrugs off the pain and focuses making his attack count. His blade smashes into the old bones with a loud crack as the bones go flying off and scatter across the floor.
Nadia meanwhile recovers just long enough to send flying two arrows at her attackers, striking down skeleton 1 with deadly accuracy and taking aim at 10 only to see Zack strike it down first. Shifting her focus to skeleton 11 the arrow strikes it in the skull causing it to loose its balance. Taking advantage of this Nadaar attempts to finish it off with his scimitar only to miss. Frustrated, he swings his second scimitar at the beast finally hitting it and causing it to collapse into a bone pile.
With only two skeletons remaining, the two undead split to attack seperate targets, 5 going after Zack and 9 after Nadia. Skeleton 5 rushes at Zack and swings wildly at him but Zack is able to easily dodge the incoming blow. Meanwhile Skeleton 9 tries to cut at Nadias open wound but its attack is clumsy and manages to only cause a minor scratch on her arm.
Angar once again tries to finish off one of the remaining skeletons, and while his frost ray strikes Skeleton 5, thenray is weak and feeble, barely managing to slow the creature down.

Nadaar arm trembled after the blow. Scimitars were not made for cutting through such tough material. But in tightening his grip, he's able to suppress it. Long enough at least to turn his attention to the skeleton who dared continue to harass Nadia, and with guttural hiss that only the more reptilian or draconic could emit, he rushed it.
This time more prepared for the shock, Nadaar drove the blade deep into the neck, causing its head at least to snap back and throw it further off-balance. As it is staggering back, the Dragoborn pressed forward growling out a, "You will not touch her again!" as the second blade came in singing through the air.
Only its fall gives him momentary pause mid-swing, its delayed death perhaps stop him. But whether it stood or fell, he would move either protectively in between it and Nadia, or have redirecting his attack upon the other Zack faced, slipping past coffins(tables?) to cut down the other.
Expending final Bardic Inspiration on Mobile Flourish, adding 2 of damage to the first attack and pushing the creature 5ft plus the number roll directly away(northward) from Nadaar. Using his reaction as well to move within 5ft of it, if not destroyed.
Zack, seeing that the mass of skeletons has finally dwindled to near nothing, though they had nearly claimed Nadia in the doing. He knew she could handle herself but it was his job to take the hits, so they didn't have to. And Nadia's bleeding looked pretty bad... did it hit an artery? he wondered for a moment after sending 10 scattering across the room like a silent grenade.
As 5 comes from begin, Zack shifts and evades, while bringing the sword down in another, simple, overhead chop, intent on finishing it off so the rest could focus on the last one.
To say their concern for her didn't make her heart swell in adoration would have been a flat out lie, yet the pain that flared from her chest throughout the entirety of her body was simply too much for her to handle. Entrusting the boys to finish off the remaining skeletons, she presses her back against the wall, with a wet bloody cough, as she gets to assessing her wounds with a healing hand.
Heal 7 (thank u <3)
With the magic flowing through her, she's feels somewhat better, albeit a bit exhausted. Guess whatever it was controlling these things were tired of her antics and tried to take her out in one lucky shot, but not today urb, not today. Seeing that the last of the enemies were very well disposed of by both Zack and Nadaar, she gives them both a wide smile and says, "Good job, you two! Didn't even need my help!"
Between Nadaar and Zack the final two skeletons collapse from their attacks and the party is granted anmoment of respite. Angar leans back against the statue and falls into a sitting position as he tries to catch his breath. Nadia is able to focus on healing her wound while Zack and Nadaar are now free to do as they please.

BFB@ 6, bounce to 8 - - - Attack: 23 Damage: 9 + 5 - - Bounce 8
Action BFB: Attack: 13 Damage: 11 + 2 fire.
Bounce to 6 if applicable: 2
Zack too hears Nadia's cry of pain, after hearing the very solid thunk of an arrow piercing armor and flesh. And his eyes go wide, as a trained fighter like him can tell that that one arrow did far more damage than one would assume it could. And as much as he wanted to run to her side, if he left this spot, the other skeletons might just collapse on her and Nadaar. Shit! Nadaar, keep her safe, I'll finish off these guys as fast as possible... striking out at 6 with a hard swing, intending to shatter it like he had the other.
Regardless of which happens, he will move to the space between 10/11
Occassional Dungeon Master.
Action 1: Heal 11"I-I'm good! I'm good... Just, uh... Just need to catch a breath..." She manages to get out to not worry the others, trying her best to not focus on the throbbing at her chest. After a moment, she is able to compose herself just enough to shoot off a few arrows at the ****ers who shot at her.
Action 2 - Attack on 10 (I believe): 16 Damage: 6

(edited because im a dummy thank u mehmen)

5 and 9-> Zack Attack: 15 Damage: 3 Attack: 7 Damage: 5
5->Z Attack: 10 Damage: 7
9->Nadia Attack: 6 Damage: 6
A->5 Attack: 23 Damage: 9

Windslicer blade: Attack: 15 Damage: 10 + 5 Thunder Damage
Channeling his anger at having let Nadia or anyone, but especially Nadia, Zack puts all his power into that attack.

Guess whatever it was controlling these things were tired of her antics and tried to take her out in one lucky shot, but not today
urb, not today. Seeing that the last of the enemies were very well disposed of by both Zack and Nadaar, she gives them both a wide smile and says, "Good job, you two! Didn't even need my help!"Between Nadaar and Zack the final two skeletons collapse from their attacks and the party is granted anmoment of respite. Angar leans back against the statue and falls into a sitting position as he tries to catch his breath. Nadia is able to focus on healing her wound while Zack and Nadaar are now free to do as they please.
