With a mumbling word that to all others would sound like complaining, as the racist castellan began to leave, Torsus would cast Thaumaturgy, centered on the mans ass and a careful, soft, exhalation butt-wind would sounding just loud enough to be heard by the others closest to him, in a long, drawn-out fashion as if he were letting out an untimely fart just as he was about to exit through the door, timing the noise as if every time his foot hit the ground another 'poot' was released. It was about the only spite Torsus could think of, despite its immaturity, that wouldn't also bring the guards down on them, while -he hoped- bringing shame to the pathetic excuse for a man.
Regardless, once the inspection was complete and the final words said he'd speak to the much more agreeable Parsissus The only things I can think of are what information do you have on our primary reason for being here, the giants, that could aid us, and is there anything you're aware of that we could do for the town, or Goldenfields in general that may be of assistance if the giants aren't an immediate concern? Also where is the town of... Ah pardon me, I mean do you know The Xelbrins? One of our Tressym belongs to them.. in a roundabout way.
The Castellan walks away red in the face but otherwise tries to act like he heard nothing, while his guards maintain their professionalism and make no reaction at all. When the Castellan is gone Parsissus allows herself a light chuckle. Once all is said and done and questions are asked Parsissus sighs and shurgs.
Unfortunately not as much as I'd like. We had heard the rumblings of Giant activity in the area but really paid it no mind. The people and the guards alike are confident in the strength of our walls, even against giants. It wasn't until a little over a tenday ago when a group of goblins and ogres led by two hill giants tried to attack the walls. We managed to fend them off and they retreated, the aid of those goblin mercs came in handy as well. Since then we've heard nothing but have been anticipating another attack. The Mercs have thus stuck around and the Abbot ordered the Captain of the guard to hire more outside help. Not sure if he's actually done that but you found us so I'm sure he won't complain. Luckily for all of us Hill Giants are notoriously stupid and should be easy to defeat. If they even bother to comeback that is though our farms have always been a tempting target. As for your other question just follow the road into town and head to the Northside. Look for the three story building, thats Northfurrows End, the local Inn. You'll find who you're looking for there. Trust me, you won't miss the Yeti. She smirks before asking. Anything else?
Narz reminds Torsus of the trip being the first time he heard the mental communication or even of it, and that the Tortle may have incidently been a little vague ont he limits of his ability regarding the mind. Either that, or it was possible for the hobgoblin to have misheard during discussions prior, as there had been much information circulating during that. Regardless, as Narz picks up on Torsus neglection or relunctance to speak on how he came about his particularly brand of what Narz presumed to be some sort psionics teaching, he is to the point on requesting Torsus limits any future communications via this mental capability in regards to his(Narz) person to combat, emergency, or tactical operations types of situations only. With that affirmed and established, Narz would go back about his business for the remainder of the trip. Although Torsus might notice that, when not otherwise occupied on some other task or doing cat things alongside Rillex, Spaz is keeping an eye on him.
Now back to the present~
"If there is a hob in charge, then that's money well spent." Narz muttered and even dared to grin a little. He then kind of drifts to his own thoughts, self-aware of the feeling of being watched always, but content to pontificate on other matters until the group were finally allowed entry. Out of everyone he sees after of those that came to greet them, the potential wizard holds his attention the longest during the initial sizing up of everyone. 'Perhaps-' He thought before having his attention robbed by the Nobleman figure's barely vieled complaint. To which, he held his tongue and kept up the usual back straight and eyes ever forward sorta of demeanor until the noble depart. A brow gets quirked at the display of unfortunately timed bowel movements, but he kept it professional and said not a word. "Just the eh, uh, whereabouts of those goblin mercs you mentioned before? Said we see them soon, but seeing as they aren't apart of this current retinue, they are stationed elsewhere?"

She's a well-bred horse from my hometown; served me very well since we left," Claire says, beaming at the compliment on her horse's behalf as she strokes it's mane. She dismounts for the pat-down.
After the conversations die down, Claire suggests going straight north to drop off Skrillex.

Torsus can't help but nod with a bit of thoughtfulness, deciding ultimately that he agree'd that they should drop off Rillex first, so that everyone can stop forgetting he exists in the first place finish the easiest and likely swiftest business they had here before moving onto more important business, though he would feel the need to inform what he'd been told already to the one confident in their walls.
Mmm, sweet, beautiful Parsissus. I am glad you are confident in your walls and your retinues, however, if the rumors are true, there are some giants with flying mobile towers, and potentially even fortresses with which they simply drop boulders from the sky like siege catapaults as they did with a town called Nightstone, and if the story from my sources are true, that may render your walls a moot point should such beings, and vehicles be real. I tell you only so that you can atleast take this into calculations, should it happen so that at the very least you are not caught unawares.
Regardless, Torsus is ready to move to deal with Rillex.
Well, if that is all I need to return to my duties. Please enjoy your stay. Parsissus bows and takes her leave. As you all exit the gatehouse and enter Goldenfields proper the first thing you see is a 20-foot-tall wooden statue of a plump, smiling woman standing with her hands on her hips in a garden of golden wheat, surrounded by a dirt roundabout. Narz, from your previous check you would easily recognize it as a statue of Chauntea a little North of the statue is a stone building with an open front, above which hangs a sign that reads “Earth Mother’s Bounty.” From inside you hear a light, almost child like voice singing a song that seems to be narrating what is happening at the moment. Whoever it is, based on the song, seems to be looking for something.
Should you choose to continue on the road leading to town is just ahead.
Narz makes a mental note of the song, but would brush off even the very notion of deviating from their course the instant it comes to mind. Work had to come before idle curiosity, and only that of his compatriots might sway him otherwise. It is why he had refrained from nudging the local wizard from before about his studies so far, and its possible application in the realm of agriculture.
Although in the event some insist on the detour, he would suggest they split from there, and just meet back up at the Northfurrow's End Inn. Regardless, for so long as they are within easy listening range of the song, Vigo and Spaz appear drawn to it enough to occasionally look in the direction of the source.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Aeyd, as many could tell, was a very quiet individual, yet was very much observant to their surroundings. She would eye those the group had spoken to as they entered the fortress, though eventually would look over the general area and find things to wonder about. When they were fully allowed through, she gives those who she passes an appreciative smile and respectful nod of their head.
At the sound of music, Aeyd's ears would perk up, interested in the news being told. If possible to listen in, she would as she followed behind the others, not wanting to be diverted from their current goal, but still wanting to know what was happening about.

Aeyd catches the tail end of the singing which mostly seems to just be the singer talking to themselves in a melodic voice. Oh where oh were could my missing bracelet be? Maybe I lost it when I was making tea! Tsk..Nope. Thats okay, it might be with the books, I sure hope its not in the hand of crooks! Dammit. Oh Sev you've really done it now, maybe you lost it when petting all the cows? The door to the shop is wide open and you all have to pass close to continue on. You can hear stuff being moved around from inside and as you pass Rillex sticks his head up and sniffs the air. Suddenly the Tressym flys off Marz's shoulder and into the store. You hear the same child like voice start in surprise and say Oh my where'd you come from little fella? You smell the catnip don't ya! Here ya go!
Claire takes a few steps onward and then stops as she notices SKRillex dart inside the shop. "... Oh... well, I suppose... one stop before we drop Rillex off wouldn't hurt." As she appraoches the building she turns to Aeyd with her brow furrowed. "Wait... did she say something about crooks? Was something stolen from her?"
Claire, from inside you hear the voice give a loud Hmm? Before from behind a stack of seed bags you see a young girl with red hair wearing muddy green robes poke her head out. I'm Sevembra Tumbleleaf, shopkeep, worshiper of Chauntea and druid all rolled into one funsized package! Oh! Is this your Tressym? He's just the cutest! Whats his name?
The amiable halfling practically bounces with excitement as she approaches and takes your hand to lead you inside. The shop itself is split between two areas, a well organized front where potted plants, seeds and cornucopias stuffed with fresh fruits and veggies and cheeses are all neatly sorted and organized, and a extremely cluttered and disorganized back area behind the main counter full of loose soil, bags of seeds, books and other gardening supplies. The entire place smells like a garden with a strong earthy smell of soil predominant in the room.
