Torsus pipes in then, after Narz's accusation and Rollo's response. Though I don't know the circumstances of your attack, if you think about it logically, we would have been in the area, and had we followed your suggestions to rough it, we simply may all have fallen victim, instead of just yourself. I specifically recall you mentioning something about 'losing a valuable ally' if a certain rumor was true. But I mean not to cast blame on you, regardless of how it sounds. But I do feel that factor must needs be pointed out.
In any case, I must reiterate my comment from earlier. If we are to do this, we should do it swiftly, while the day still lasts. Before it can get out of wherever it is holed up. And or before it chooses to 'leave the city' if it truly feels threatened.
"Well if we're done threatening each other..." The cleric pointedly makes eye contact with Rollo. "We'll figure out a way to turn you back, or at least I will. Have faith in us." Then she looks down and touches her chin. "You have to leave town by tonight, though? Torsus was planning on staying a few days though... what should we do?"
At Torsus' suggestion of fighting the vampire now: "Is that a good idea? The second we begin acting with that intention, wouldn't it trigger Rollo to defend the vampire? If we are to face him, we should give it some time, and leave Rollo out of the planning." She asks Rollo: "Did he even stick around after changing you? Surely this would draw even more attention to him than even the rumors, if he actually leaves someone as a spawn."
Rollo puts up his hands in mock surrender. "I don't know about your memories but I was just going to build us a keep. But fine, if you're all paranoid about me I'll go back to camping in the woods alone. Not like I can die again anyways." He then looks to Claire. "I'm not actually allowed to say under my new rules of life but what I can say is don't see why it would draw attention enough to make him leave. I can't tell anyone where he is so who would say anything? What I can say though is that looking anywhere outside of this town would likely lead you to a failure of your search. And that you should look very, very close to where you stayed last night. There, see, I'm being helpful. I would tear the thing apart with my bare hands if I could, believe me, I tried. But since I can't I guess I'll just go camp. Maybe across the river, I hear that that type of MOVING WATER is almost better than the DAY'S LIGHT or DIVINE MAGIC versus what I am now." You all can tell that Rollo is trying to highlight as much as he can within his new rules.

Narz had returned calm "excuse" with just a flat look. But while tempted to point out a few more flaws in the man's logic, between Torsus comments and his own self-discipline, the goblinoid was able to hold his tongue until the urge left the system.
And although still at least mildly annoyed, Narz listened closely to the others, and let various points shift into a vague plan forming in his mind. There was even a nod at Rollo's emphasized word, assuring the man that at least the hobgoblin understood where they'd been going with things.
"Yes, well, you go ahead and do that eh? I believe we have enough here to formulate something. Call us paranoid if you wish, but I prefer being alive and far more certain my faculties are under my own control. A sentiment the rest of us I am sure can agree upon. So, unless there are other questions for Rollo here, let's leave him be." Narz suggested, and would wait until the man departed before addressing the others.

With Rollo is immediately out of sight, Narz curtly says something along the lines of "needing a minute" before casting a new spell and eventually conjure a Raven and a Cat. While the raven was to immediately sent off to find and follow discretely a man matching Rollo's description, the cat remained on standby at the hobgoblins feet.

"For the record, I believe this is a foolish endeavor." He said. "But, since its unlikely some of you will change your mind-" Narz added, sounding a bit exasperated. "-let's stay to task. Know that the monster we seek is upstairs in the Inn, or should likely still be there based on what I picked up from Rollo. Spaz should be able to identify it as well from memory. If you have any magics that might help there in identification all the better."
"Also, it's possible Rollo isn't the only spawn or servant of the creature in town. If records of such creatures are to believed, it is certainly powerful enough to not need them; but, has the ability and is clever enough to make use of everything at its disposal, ensuring it remained undiscovered. It is likely as well it has even 'bought' some allies. Either with promises of immortality, any treasure it acquired if old enough, or if its domineering abilities extend beyond just spawns, a few choice living in the area could very well be under his control." He explained, and paused just for a bit to let things sink in before continuing on.
"It's also very unlikely to willingly "step outside" in any amount of sunlight. Wouldn't be very bright of it now would it, eh?" He asked straight faced, appearing to not have caught the pun. "So, any plan made needs to account for the following: How to get it outside? How to avoid others getting involved? And are there any protections that any of you can think of given what is known about them? I have.. maybe an idea. But, it is an extreme one. Best left a last resort. So, any other ideas?"
Rollo heads off into the woods once again, attempting to get across the river than then a good ways away, upstream, from any bridge or way to cross it.

Rollo, you cross the river using the bridge into Womford before leaving the small farming community and into the wilderness. "Rest assured, I will assist you in finding a way to turn Rollo back, Claire."Aeyd gives the cleric a nod in affirmation. Despite everything and everyone stating it was impossible, she still had her hopes held high. When he departs, she can't help but watch him off with a thinned frown forming on her lips. Her eyes then flicker over to Narz when he begins to cast his spell, already trying to contemplate ideas.
After he speaks, she speaks up. "Foolish it may be but it is better to try than to let this continue, isn't it? Now, it may not want to go outside in the day time, but perhaps at night it would be more... willing. Maybe one of us could act as bait and lure it out to a secluded area, and then we strike? Simple, but we can always expand upon it if need be, or if anyone else has a better idea, please..."She makes a gesture with her hand as if to give them the floor to present their ideas.

Narz glanced to Claire and Torsus. Seeing the cleric however maybe lost in her own thoughts, and the tortle mayhaps still deliberating, the hobgoblin faintly shook his head before turning on Aeyd. "There are two problems there, unfortunately. Three bare minimum if we want to get technical." Narz said, holding up the appropriate number of fingers before folding his hands behind his back. "The first and most obvious being that we would be playing into one of the creature's greatest advantage: The Night. Which if were to be forced to slip away following a failed attempt to put it down quickly, we will have made quite the enemy. And considering Rollo's own assertion of his personal new abilities, we should not count on being able to putting it down quickly enough. Especially down a man as we are. Secondly, and, uh... Sorree 'bout neglecting to mention it sooner, but the creature appeared to have a measure of control over bats. Of which there are a lot of local ones, as Spaz can attest to. And while a swarm of them may be best a minor inconvenience, it would be best not to underestimate the swarm, eh?"
"And thirdly... Actually, it might already be somewhat aware of being a known entity to have summoned bats to kill one gawking Tressym. Hm... Troubling..." Narz drifted off on that point stroking his chin and furrowing his brow.

Torsus nodded, satisfied, when Rollo finally left to at least increase the time the party would have before an additional threat may make itself known in a different sense, torsus let out a sigh. Aye, it is as Narz has said, both reiterating his own points, we well as my own that were made. Torsus smiles and said I do not need to hold it for more than a moment, or... see it in its entirety so I can better picture it in my mind. Remember my dragon? Vampires posess a weakness to the sun, and a weakness and aversion to holy things.... Atleast I believe that is what Rollo was trying to impart to us. By that logic... If I create a miniature sun with my more potent illusion spell... and then create a myriad of holy symbols orbiting it.... though I lack the 'faith' and conviction, the symbol itself should still hold some scant remainder if only by proxy....
I make the sun as realistically bright as possible (Though it will produce no heat...) and make the illusioned symbols cast their shadows... it may cause the true foe to flinch if not outright become paralyzed or weakened upon seeing it, and thus help us ferret him out, if not gain a degree of advantage. At the very least, he should be blinded by the light it would cast, so I can make it hover at our backs, so we are not also thusly effected.
Narz almost smiles at the genius of the suggestion! There were of course some minor issues and limitations to the plan, BUT such a tactic wouldn't be something easily anticipated. At the very least depending on the timing, they could also root out other spawn depending on the vicinity. The more the hobgoblin clearly thought over the suggestion, the harder it visibly became to not at least let -- just for once -- the corner of his lips tip upward in the beginnings of a smile. Having not understood a word of what's going on, Vigo the Worg eventually got bored enough with tensions dying down as to lay down at the hobgoblin's side and grumble in goblin in his boredom.
"Even a small window should be enough. Yes... A moment." Narz' eyes glazes over for a few seconds as he tries to get a read on Spaz' current situation. He last left the tressym inside the tavern to quietly and steathily keep a look out for their vamp, as well as on the general populace in the main tavern area. Once secure in the knowledge of their being little change there he comes out of it to address the group again. "That should cover our element of surprise. The question now is on do we have any means of protecting ourselves from it. As I understand it, those granted divine power can supposedly repulse the dead. A good thing to have in a pinch of things go south, but... I don't suppose you have anything -- any of you, at that, have something prepared today that might hamper any attempt on the vampires part to kill or possibly incapacitate us?"

Torsus waited a long time for either Claire or Aeyd to respond, taking in the assumption that Narz himself had none (lest he would have said so, logically) and as the minutes ticked by with no one saying or doing anything, Torsus returns the symbol to Claire after having put its image to memory, clearing his throat. I suppose we shall take that silence as a 'no.' In my case none of what I could possess in my skills could be considered so. Regardless, I am ready. I have seen the sun enough to make a proper simulacrum, and the sight of your holy symbol is fresh in my mind. I have the spell waiting to be used. And as I have reiterated several times... We are quite literally burning daylight. Lets be on with it, and prepare whatever skills or spells you feel you might need should a fight suddenly break out. - Oh, one more thing... he says, looking a bit reluctant We cannot announce our intentions, as much as we may wish to - to avoid upsetting the people within the tavern... for doing so might alert our target and give him some chance to prepare.
So we may end up kicked out from the town or at-least the tavern for causing damages and problems, but we must anyway. And Regardless, I still plan to do 'my thing' when this is done, regardless.
Then, without another word, hoping the others would catch on he began his march to the doors, spell prepared, and cast just before entering. The sphere of fire forming instantly, a nearly perfect replication of the sun, surrounded by holy symbols that matched Claire's own that circled in random orbits, casting shadows of the symbols wherever they were pointed. The sphere gave off warmth, though not enough to harm, as he pushed in the door.

Narz indeed would have said something of his own protections. But alas, the scroll of protection that had was attuned to dealing with the fey, and not the troublesome undead that had chosen to be another obstacle. Irregardless, with Torsus taking the reigns on pushing things forward, Narz looked to Vigo and spoke in [Goblin] an order for the Worg to stay outside and on watch for any patron fleeing the tavern. Specifically one that, to the best of Narz' ability going by Spaz' original account', matching that description and likely looked to be on fire or trying to shield themself from the sun.
He is delayed a second more checking in on the raven and confirming Rollo was well and truly away. But with all that out of the way, a hurried step would allow him to catch up to the elder Tortle. That said, the timing wasn't quite what was expected. Whether this was a case a senility on the Tortle's part, simple miscommunication, or an unspoken amendment to the makeshift plan, who was to say. Either way, the hobgoblin quickly adjusted and glanced around for any patrons in the main area looking particularly disturbed by the light show along with Spaz from hiding within the tavern and the less winged cat summoned earlier at the goblinoid's feet.
(Narz you are reasonably sure there are no prying eyes listening in on this conversation.)
Torsus pipes in then, after Narz's accusation and Rollo's response.

(Nothing quite get for me to respond to until an action is taken. Otherwise its still character interaction)
