Torsus sits there for several moments, considering, the last words of the whore ringing in his ears, as it seems negotiations were doomed to break down, even with assistance and guidance, this giantess seemed intent on attacking them. He flickered between seeking the first strike, and pressing for information...
Torsus resists for now. If food is your only current concern, we could easily seek to find food worth your while within the swamp itself. For one like myself i know what can or cannot be eaten. Ad what tastes quite good, whether cooked or not. I've had to survive on my own before. So, we find you food, and you tell us about Harshnag? Do we have a bargain?

Torsus grunts in agreement, nodding his head just to be sure, turning around to the others, and saying Well, chop chop. I doubt she will admire us dallying about. he pats his hands together like one does when caulking chalk. Since I know the plants and foliage, I shall send you both on a more mundane errand. Seek out animals that look edible... such as... he says listing some animals like crocs/gators and other swampy life forms he may know about that fill the meat requirement.
And I shall go seek out the seasonings and additionals for a soup and broth. This is apparently how we'll get our answers. he says, before mentally speaking to Claire but not Narz (for obvious reasons) That or we feed her and she attempts to betray us, but this is our best bet.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
The corner of Narz' mouth twitches a bit as he yet continued to hold onto a pleasant smile in response to the ongoing threats. Yet inwardly, his mind shifted further and further away from trying to incapacitate the giant to instead more destructive aims. With an accord finally struck, even if an obviously tenuous one, Narz merely nodded in agreement and and made to follow Torsus to at least an extent before their foraging/hunting paths diverged to some degree. Even then, he makes a point of trying to keep the others in sight.
Yet while Torsus and maybe even Claire might be content to make good on providing a meal, Narz' focus was in seeking any unhealthy game, or better yet, some of the more poisonous fauna mentioned by Zoar that he might be able to slip in the stew, covering the taste with whatever seasons Torsus might procure. Although he hadn't held out hope of bringing the giant down with such things, if he could but weaken her, that much was enough in his mind.
If a moment presented itself as well, he is sure to quietly relay as much to the others his intent.
Survival: 11. (If able to gain help from Spaz scouting, here's a second roll: 2.) (And if result is anywhere between14 to 17, burning a use of Fortune of the Many to add at least +3 to the roll from nearby allies)

Claire will agree with Narz’s idea. She feels violence is likely regardless of the outcome, and getting a lay of the surrounding land as well as potentially weakening the giantess would be an intelligent course of action.

Your search of the area reveals several poisonous plants and fungi which you could add to any intended meal that would weaken the giantess. For a main course you're able to easily hunt down some alligators for their meat. If you're going to cook her poisonous meat I'd like whoever has the best survival to roll with adv (assumed help) and same with a deception check to pass it off as actual food.
Narz for certainly assists in the preparation, and where possibly even adds a dash of magical reflavoring to make help cover up the taste. Although if by chance or ill-timing from the giantess possibly approaching them during the food prep, and demanded to know what spell had been woven onto the food, he'd speak the truth, in so far as the intent to spice up the food. But if she had wish for him to remove the magic, then he'd do so... or at least, put on a show of having done so.

You all return and begin cooking a meal.fit for a giant. The giantess watches at first but begins to let her guard down and relax as you continue cooking. When she's not looking you add plenty of the poisones herbs and fungi to the dish before finally declaring that it is ready. Finally, I'm starving, give it here. She grabs the haunches of BBQ'd meat and eagerly tearing into it. Either she's really hungry or she doesn't notice the off flavor as she keeps going back for more. After waiting for what seems like forever she suddenly stops eating and begins vomiting up large quantities of blood. What is this!? she screams and yells between bouts of vomiting. You little....I'll crush you all!
inatives please everyone. She is significantly weakened but she still has a lot of fight in her.
The giantess roars angrily and even her pet troll comes to her side to fight. However the poison as seemed to slowed her considerably. Torsus is up first.
Torsus grunts, as he was confused. Didnt the group want to question this one? If this was their plan from the start they could have simply.... Well, whatever... he thought to himself, as his mind probed out to the giantess first You could simply have told us what we wanted to know, and this wouldn't be happening. You could have gone along your way... then, to the troll, he speaks.... if it knows atleast one language, it will understand him. Eat the giantess, fight her and eat her.
Before finally his gem in hand, arms outstretched, and for a breif moment, the world turns black for everyone, unable to see in any direction, before it call coalesces into a shadowy form, like a human swallowed by the realm of shadows, black fire-like tendrils roping from its body, hollow eyes, darker than even its pitch black body that is limned by a crimson tint at the very edges, formed directly behindthe giantess, and within 5 feet of her and near the troll so that the party would just barely be out of range of its howl
its hollow eyes looking up at the giantess with rage and fury to match a barbarians, and soon a terrifying scream fills the air.
The giantess and Troll must succeed on a DC 15 saving throw, or be frightened for 1 minute. Saving throw is repeatable at the end of each creatures turn.

Both the giantess and her pet troll seem paralyzed with fear for a moment and don't even react to the sudden growth of plant matter around their feet, their eyes fixed on Torsus in a mix of awe and horror. (Skipping troll and giants turn due to fear. Narz is up)

Narz cannot help but frown at the sight of the strange and disturbing entity. But with the discipline of a true material realm hobgoblin despite much of his being having reverted to more fey bound origins, he conjured forth a black bead of crushing force and flung it above the heads of the giant. "I have a bit of fire for the troll should it not flee quick enough." He further asserts for the parties benefit, before slowly backing away to at least make it difficult for the duo to immediately run him down.
Action: Casting Gravity Sinkhole at 4th level and affecting only the Giantess and Troll. Con Save[DC 14] to take half of 32 Force Damage and not be pulled 20ft towards the center of the spell in the air, before plummeting and taking additional fall damage.
