Claire slows down as the the chanting become audible. "Should someone scout ahead? Or do we just... go in?". If someone wants to scout, Claire will stay back and wait. If the group wants to stealth up together, she will try to be as quiet as possible in her armor.

Before the group had moved on, Zack quietly made a comment about how badly the place the plague guy had been spelled and to never go into city sewers....
However, since Claire was clattering around as much as she was, Zack didn't even try for stealth, instead , taking out the rope-net, and readying to toss it on the first person that looked like a 'baddie' No point in being quiet, just be ready to fight... he half-whispered to those behind him as he readied to toss the net.....
With Claire's armor clattering around, Nadia also saw no need to try and stealth this (unless whatever it was in there had really bad perception skills). She instead takes out an arrow, pulls it back with her bowstring, and waits.
(Readying an attack on whoever comes and looks like they are about to attack one of them)
Deciding to abandon stealth you all push ahead with Zack leading the charge, net in hand. The tunnel seems to be never ending, a passage of twists and turns with no purpose other than to disorient and confuse. The walls themselves seem to almost feel like they are repeating, almost as if you were walking past the same section over and over again. The only real sign of progress being made is the chanting, which seems to get not only louder but faster as you continue on. Eventually a light at the end of the tunnel, literally, as candle light marks the entrance to a larger room within the tunnel. When your eyes adjust to the light, the chanting reaches its crescendo before coming to an abrupt stop.
You find yourselves in a large open tunnel of dirt and stone. To one corner lay a large pile of scattered bones, seemingly discarded from whatever purpose they were used for. Near the enter of the room lies a table soaked in blood, on it lays a creature that seems mostly snake but with scaled, almost human like face, its stomach cut open and several organs removed and placed in a metal tin on the table. Around the table are two hags with bumpy green skin that reminds you of rotting flesh. The hags turn to look at you before gesturing your way. From behind them two still living snake men charge forth to attack!
As the snake men charge forth Zack tosses his net at the one on your right. The man, who has a human body and head of a snake, is caught in the net causing him to stop in his tracks as he is restrained. (Adv against S1)
The second snake person, a human with a large snake tail, continues their charge forward. Seeing the approaching threat Nadia looses an arrow striking them in the arm. Rollo also pushes forward to attempt strike at the approaching snake person but in his excitement he trips over himself, falling face first in the dirt. (Rollo is prone, disadvantage on initiative)
Claire (and those of you with passive perception of 13 or higher) notices movement coming from the pile of bones. You're not entirely sure what's there at this time but you are aware that something is there and is likely not friendly.
The two hags burst into laughter upon seeing Rollo face plant, the first shouting Ha! Country bumpkin has two left feet! The second shouts Maybe it hit its face hard enough to fix those deformities! The insults are laced with magic and Rollo manages to shrug off the psychic attack from one of the hags but he his apparently self conscious about his face as the second hags magic insults hit home (disadvantage on next attack roll and 3 Damage)
Initiative order is H1, H2, Claire, S2, Zack, S1, Nadia, B, Rollo.
Noticing the ominous pile of bones, Claire decides to inconvenience whatever is bound to pop up from there. She holds up her hand. "Divine Light, stir the ground into needles and stay the feet of my enemies!" The ground beneath and around the pile of bones twists into spikes. Claire then retreats to s5, behind Zack.
Action: Cast Spike Growth centered on the Bones. 20ft radius. Difficult terrain. 2d4 dmg for every 5ft moved within the spikes.

Spikes grow from the ground surrounding the bone pile upon Claires utterance of Divine words. She retreats behind Zack for safety just as S2 arrives. The snake man draws his scimitar are targets what he sees to be as easy prey, thrusting his scimitar twice at Rollo. Rollo, in his vulnerable state, is easy pickings for the snake man as he trusts and slashes at the unfortunate cleric. The snake mans second strike cuts so clean and quick that he is able to quickly follow up with a third attack. Luckily the third attack simple bounces off Rollos thick armor.
Zack considers for the breifest moment, to go after the one in the net... but seeing Rollo down, he just can't leave the man like that....Zack charges forward, around Rollo to get directly north of s2 and puts his leg around the snake-mans legs, his sword shifts to his left hand, and his right hand slams against the snake-mans chest, in an attempt to shove-trip him into prone at an angle that would drop him next to Claire and Rollo at the same time. Nadia, get back to the entrance and fire from there!
The snake man falls to the ground as Zack trips him up, rendering him an easy target for those willing to get close.
The other snake man who is currently covered in net cuts through the annoyance, destroying the net completely before charging Zack from behind. The snake mans blase slashes across Zacks back though only doing relatively minor damage through the armor (barring a reaction of course).

"No tienes que decírmelo dos veces,"Nadia says in response to Zack's words, immediately backing up towards the main entrance (just enough so she can still have the enemies in her vision). She gets out another arrow and fires off two shots at S1!

Nadia arrows hit home but strike not vital areas of the snake mans body, doing little beyond annoying him. He hisses loudly in retaliation in Nadias direction. In the corner of the room the pile of bones starts to stir, and a large snake like creature made entirely of bone rises out of the pile. It looks around at the spike in the ground and seems to recognize the spell. Despite being some sort of undead there is a clear intelligence there. Still it decides to continue forward until it has Zack, Rollow and Nadia lined up. Its mouth starts to glow bright blue and a smell of Ozone permeates the air. Suddenly in a blinding flash of light a streak of lightning cracks across the room striking the trio. Nadia seems to be able to dodge out of the way just in time to avoid a direct hit, while Rollo keeps him self flat on the ground to avoid most of the damage. Unfortunately for Zack he is direct in the path of the lighting and is hit full force.
Rollos axe strikes the prone snakeman with a sickening thud, sending streaks of blood bouncing back into Rollos face. The two Hags continue to laugh and point at various members of the group, the first saying I can't believe the oaf hit something without falling over! The second one replies Forget that one, have you seen the hair on the dumb looking one? It looks sharper than his sword!
Rollo feels the magic behind the insult affect him but he manages to shrug off most of the mental damage. Meanwhile Zack simply finds himself unaffected, used to people making fun of his hair at this point. (Disadvantage to Rollos next attack)
"May divine retribution be shaped as a weapon," Claire says, summoning a translucent golden spear wrapped in vines. With a flick of her wrist it orients itself with the point towards the ground, and plunges down into the prone snake man. She then points at the same creature and casts Toll the Dead. Claire maintains concentration on Spike Growth.
The fallen snake man fails to avoid the spiritual spear and also fails to resist the magics assaulting him. He hisses in pain and annoyance but still manages to get back on his feet. With a loud hiss the snake man presses the attack targeting Zack. The first attack however is a severe miss. As the snake man thrusts his blade forward Zack dodges put of the way. Unable to stop his momentum the snake man accidentally thrusts his blade into his alley. Now angry, the same snake man turns and slashes at Zack, this time connecting with the arm.
11 Physical after reroll, 7 to 11 thunder damage, 3 lightning, for a total of either 21, or 25 damage
Zack was satisfied by the tripping of the little snake-shit, completely ignoring the two hacks hags attacking with spiteful words, just when a blade suddenly cuts into his back, just barely not scratching through his armor, though it still did sting it failed to pass his temp hp ability to withstand damage. Back off net-boy.. you aint worth my ti... he says before a bolt of lightning surges through the area, Zack puts his blade out like a lightning rod, and the blade seems to drink most of the energy in, and it begins to swarm around the blade as if it were some form of a generator, his eyes glowing even more of an cerulean hue than usual. Thanks for the boost bone-boy... I'll use it on your friend here. he says , as he brings the blade into a ready position just as the snakes followup slashes his arm, aiming so as to not hit the others by accident, just as a thrumming energy joins the brilliant lightning display on his blade, his entire body glowing between his borrowed power and his own natural resources. In a massive hacking strike, replete with raw physical force, and simultaneous thunder & lightning energy. Despite his bravado, he still did have a few scorch marks across his body as he brought the blade to bear against the one who had just hit him.
