Paren looks up from his plate. "Once Finan's awake he and I can go hunt down my contact and see about finding the boxes. Once we have all those we can return them to their rightful spot, wherever that is."

Tanni jumps at her voice coming from Falaine's mouth but then smiles. "That's an impressive trick."She laughs heartily at Falaine's story and when breakfast rolls in, she begins to eat to her usual gluttonous manner, only pausing briefly to greet familiar faces as they pass their table. When Falaine speaks after breakfast, Tanni asks, "Research? Are you still going to Oppenholdt? I can come with you, I'd rather not deal with thieves if I can avoid it."

Patrons slowly begin to gather their belongings and prepare for the long journey ahead. Slowly filing out of the room, there's a sense of relief on their faces that the events of the festival are behind them even if it ended many days earlier than expected.
Renard brings out another platter of breakfast items including many things that weren't on the first few offerings. It's unclear if he's trying to fatten the lot of you up or just purge the kitchen but the food is delicious. It doesn't take long for the lounge to be clear of guests with the exception of your group still working on the continued offerings.
Ombre closes her journal and slides it into the drawer behind the bar. She moves around the bar with elegance and makes her way to your table. "I do hope that you enjoyed your stay in the Wishing Well. I assume your friend will be out shortly for breakfast?"

Only after Ombre inquires after Finan, Tanni notices he's missing from the table. "Oh yes, the best place I've stayed in so far. I'm sure to stay here next time I'm in town. And don't worry, I'll go and make sure our friend is up and out with the rest of us." She then stands up and leaves, asking others to watch her backpack. Without waiting for a response, she marches to the hallway and to Finan's room and pounds her fist a couple of times at the door. "Finan! It's Tanni! Get up or you miss the breakfast!"
Finan opens the door with a grin. "Give me a moment, just packing my things. I'll be right out." He leaves the door ajar as he vanishes back inside to gather his things. Inside, he casts one last glance at the painting, then with a shake of his head he turns away to meet Tanni in the hallway."Hey, sorry about that. Didn't sleep much." His voice is gruff, deeper than usual, and the bags under his eyes betray he's telling the truth about not sleeping much. He tugs his flatcap over his head to hide his dishevelled hair, gesturing for Tanni to guide the way back to breakfast.
He immediately spots Bearmar upon entering the common room, then looks around to see the group seated around a table with the remains of a big breakfast. He gives Tanni a gentle pat on the shoulder. "If you'll excuse the further delay, I came into town with that fellow over there. You remember the brew we had here our first evening? That's the man that made it, least I can do is say hello. I'll come over for breakfast immediately after, don't worry!"
With a quick parting wink at Tanni he makes his way to the bar, clapping a hand on Bearmar's shoulder. "Ho there! Good morning to you, friend! How have these days been for you?"
"First couple of days went okay but yesterday all went to the scrap. Didn't even get to the judging this year with all that happened. Sounds like they ain't even going to announce a winner. Whole trip was a waste if you ask me."
"Don't let it hold you back, good man. I've been in the thick of it, it truly is best you just come back next time. Trust me. Yours is still the finest I've tasted, I was surprised to find out they serve it here. Is uh.. is someone here your patron? It truly is a divine brew." Finan gives the man a look, wondering just how many were involved in the goings on in this establishment.
"Either way, have a safe trip home. It was good seeing you again and I'd love to accompany you back, but I have other things to take care of first. I met some folk that need my assistance. You tell Ombre that your last one is on me, though, alright?"
He gives Sunspot a wink as well before he turns to the group, but just then catches sight of Talia and the Elven woman as well. With an apologetic wave to his friends he turns to walk up to the two women. "Good morning to you." he says, giving the two a friendly bow. He gestures to the Elven woman's injuries, "It is good to see you are faring better than last time I saw you. My friends are waiting for me, but I just noticed you here. Anything I can offer you?"
Seeing Finan enter Paren puts down the last of his meal. "Good. I was hoping he didn't leave too. We've lost to many from this adventure already." He then turns to Falaine."If you could see if Openhold knows anything about the location of where we should bring the shards that would be great. I've seen in a vision that it is a cave but when I tried to look outside I just bumped into the wall."

The elvan woman offers Finan a kind smile before saying, "I am fine. Thank you for checking on me." Not seeming to want to keep you any longer, she thanks you again for your time and sends you back to your companions.
The lounge has cleared out with the exception of your small group as well as the staff at the inn. The quiet is a bit unsettling as the sound of plates and glasses cling together when Renard clears each table. The sound of sliding wood can be heard as he pushes the tables toward the back wall and sets the chairs on top.
It's quite an odd site seeing your table alone at the center of the room.
Uncomfortable with the sense of having to rush, Finan sets to the breakfast with a vengeance, avoiding meeting Renard and Ombre's gazes. He even only says a brief "Good morning." to the group before digging in. He stifles a yawn thrice in the span of eating, but does manage to eat his fill before Renard simply removes the remainder of the food from the table.
Seeing Renard remove Finan's plate Paren stands up from the table. "I guess that means it's time for us to leave. Are you still comfortable coming with me to track down the halfling?"

"Very well, though we have pretty much finished already," Tanni answers to Finan. She returns to the table to wait everyone's ready to depart.
