Pax, “Bad…very bad ….Rhayna!!  Shut it off!!!!”

She leans over and smacks the girl on the shoulder and casts fly on her. 

"Worth it!" Should Sekkar still posess the ability to think, that would be his thoughts.

(note, levitate spell on Rhayna would be broken then)

Rhayna: blink blink… “Shut it off??? I don’t know how!!”

(Does Rhayna knows how to turn off the Maze Engine? Also, does Rhayna knows what happened to everyone else?)

Pax casts the spell on Rhayna, then watches as the cleric flies back down to the machine (which has by now dropped 20' toward the lava) and frantically tries to find a way to switch off the machine. But try as she might, she cannot manage to deactivate it. In fact, the machine simply hums louder and louder, vibrating more and more, until it slips again and slides about another ten feet toward the lava.

Pax, watching anxiously from the lip of the crevasse, hears another pop! and turns around to see Kaylyn, Sekkar, Kirin and Vizeran (all looking normal again) and a green frog-demon hurling a fireball...

Everyone except Rhayna, make a DC 12 DEX save or take 27 fire damage (save for half).

The machine is now 50' away from the lava.
The creature is 60' away from all members of the group (besides Rhayna, who can't see it).

...and everyone is now back to themselves and conscious (no longer turned to bronze)

Kirin Save: 19

Kirin takes a moment to assess what happening before he hears Rhayna's shouting about the machine. He looks down the engine and does mental shuffle of spells before settling on casting Dispel Magic on the machine.

Sekkar Dex save: 9

The lizardman was too slow to wake up from the bronze hibernation and the ball of fire hit him hard (why does it always have to be fire!). But the angrier he was when he localized the source of all that pain.  He could not get to the creature in time, but he still could shoot:

Pax quickly casts a spell, some of the fire evaporating around her black mists.  A dull glow now seems to emanate from within the remnants of her dark shadows. Seeing Sekkar quick to attack the creature, which she assumes will be a quick affair, she turns to Kirin and looks down at his dispel magic. At the same time, she sends three blasts of magic at the rock near the thing, hoping to crumble enough of the stone to let the thing slip closer to the lava.

As though trying to grab a large steel ball with one hand, Kirin attempts to wrap his mind around the clockwork sphere and disassemble the spells that keep it running. But the magic that created the Maze Engine is powerful, and the ball slips from his mental grasp. Sekkar's bolts slam into the frog-demon, and it recoils in pain but then just as quickly widens its tiny eyes and mentally projects an image to Sekkar's mind of itself eating the unhatched eggs of Sekkar's offspring...  (Do lizardmen hatch from eggs, or are they born live? I actually don't know what would scare Sekkar.)

Sekkar make a WIS save (DC 12) or become frightened (according to conditions of the Fear spell)

Pax's energy bolts split the rock wall of the crevasse and send the machine crashing down another twenty feet... The engine emits a flash of yellowish-white light. A metallic object - long and golden with colorful baubles sticking out at one end - falls from the ceiling and clatters to the floor at Pax's feet...

The machine is now 30' from the lava. The green slaad withdraws away from Sekkar, and is now 50' away from the ranger (and about 90' away from the rest of the group). Rhayna is still flying inside the crevasse.

Sekkar Wis save: 27

The daemon could as well project an image of eating Sekkar's heart or something along these lines - there was nothing scary about killing hatchlings (that belong to the village, not individual males. Even mothers would not tell one egg from another in the tribe's lair.) but it certainly angered the lizardman even more. He prepared to fire again.

Kirin grinded his teeth in frsutation, "That going into magma can't be good. This better work," Kirin whispers as he points his staff at under the engine, casting Wall of Force to create a dome platform under the engine like a cup to catch the engine.

Wait, Pax is trying to drown the machine and Kirin - save it?

I think Pax thinks destroying machine would stop it's chaos, Kirin thinks machine destruction would just unleash all of it's energy at once like a bomb.

Kaylyn Dex Save 11

Kaylyn is engulfed in flame as she was suddenly solid and then not.  What a weird and strange sensation.  Whatever Rhayna had done or turned on seemed to be causing chaos and she wanted to get away from the thing.  She moves away from the machine as far as she can but not towards the green creature "Let that cursed thing fall in the lava and be destroyed! We need to go!" 

She then sends 3 blasts of Eldritch energy at the green creature thing.

"I can do this... I can do this..." It's all that Rhayna can think of right now.

Kaylyn's blasts strike the creature, which looks to be retreating further toward the edge of the cave. Sekkar raises his crossbow again, innately aware that the creature is having great difficulty seeing the indistinct ranger in the darkness (Sekkar's attacks can be made with advantage as long as he is outside the slaad's 30' blindsight)

The machine starts to hum louder and the interior mechanisms spin a little faster than before. The vibrations cause the machine to slip again, but this time it only falls about five feet before striking Kirin's invisible wall. A dark crimson light flickers in the hollow interior of the Maze Engine for a few seconds. With a soft pop, another figure appears in the cavern, on the opposite side to where Sekkar and Kaylyn are fighting the retreating slaad. It is a small humanoid with dark skin, balding with a thick white beard, clothed in a crimson cloak. It lifts its head, opens eyes that show only whites, raises its arms, and yells exultantly in a high-pitched voice: BUPPIDO LIVES! BOW BEFORE BUPPIDO!

"Can you that strengthening magic on me? I think I can use Dispel to deal with it but it's very strong," Kirin questions Rhayna for a Gudiance.
