Standing behind one of the two groups of warriors, and dressed in the sleek spider-silk black dress of a drow priestess or noble, the tall slender figure exudes all the sensual allure typical of a noble female drow... but not entirely so... The thud of two heavy fists just glancing off her armor....followed by a dusty claw raking across her armor...and then a spray of sticky mud across her makes Pax grunt in the darkness. "This darkness sucks! Which way is outta here?!?"
Under Rhayna's staff the ooze collapses and spreads across the floor, tiny mushrooms popping instantly out of the remnants. Beyond the oozes, at the top of the stairs (as well as on the other stairs near Kastix) the drow figures lumber forwards, and the reason for jerkiness of their movements becomes clear - they are made entirely of stone! Although in perfect likeness of male drow warriors, their statue faces have no life in the eyes, their heads don't move on their shoulders, and although they all have stone swords sheathed at their stone belts, and stone bows slung at their stone backs, none carry any weapons in their hands. At the far end of the cavern two flying creatures enter through a tunnel, but they are still too far away to make out any details.
Rhayna:
The Queen is currently 80' from Rhayna. Kastix is the closest at 75'. Based on Rhayna's previous considerations of the possible nature of Ogremoch's Bane, she is expecting something of an incorporeal elemental force. She doesn't think this drow 'Queen' fits the profile.
Pax's sword strikes the exposed parts of the elemental with a moderately loud crack, and it seems like the sound affected the creature more than the sword blade itself. The body of the elemental then seems to almost pulse with pent-up energy, like the tension of a stormcloud about to break...
