In one hand it grips a gigantic sword which sparkles with lightning, and as it releases the leash from the minotaur's neck, the chain becomes a flaming whip. Those familiar enough with beings from the Abyss know this to be a Balor, a most fearsome demon. No sooner does the balor lurch into the cave than it spies the mortal beings for whom it has been hunting. Hungry for mortal flesh it spreads its wings and propels itself across the intervening space, landing right amongst the party, brandishing its fell weapons...

Pax Con Save vs DC 13 : 20 + 2
Gritting her teeth through the horrid wrenched stench, Pax, the dark shadows swirling about her, glances around at the myriad of enemies that have suddenly spilled out of the maze to surround her party. Her tactical mind takes over as she momentarily examines the battle, the demon taking a large part in her mind.
First thing is first. She holds out her hands, palms up, and clenches her fingers, and dark shadow roils up her legs and around her body...icy cold tendrils sparkling amidst the cloud of black. (4th level Armor of Agathys) She takes a step towards the Balor, trying to get close to the enemies. As she does so, she taps her boots together, triggering her Boots of Speed.
She mutters to Kirin, "Get clear of the demons wizard, this is no place for you...."

The mighty balor seems to fill the cave, not so much with his physical size but with the raw intensity of his presence. But the group have not only seen worse than this, they have faced and survived it! The tridrone emits some bleeps and clicks that anyone could guess indicates consternation, but the mechanical creature is programmed to maintain its prime directive, and at the moment that is centered around its agreement with Rhayna. Seeing the bulezau menacing the cleric, the tridrone moves in to defend her, with the monodrones following along automatically.

It took care of the sudden sickness but did not solve the problem of being surrounded by three demons.

Sorry, I also meant to ask for a DC 13 CON save from Kaylynand Sekkarat the start of their turn. This will be for everyone every turn as long as the bulezau demons are on the field and within 30 feet.
Also Rhaynaneeds a concentration check to maintain Bless. The only current roll in doubt is Kaylyn's first attack, but if it holds it might help the start-of-turn CON saves I mentioned.
I'm trying to put more information on the map, including current conditions. It might be hard to see, but for example Sekkar had a small musical note to indicate he had bardic inspiration, and now has a Zephyr icon.
No, I don't use Flanking, sorry. But Sekkar's first attack drops B2, so if you want to apply the second attack to another target (minotaur? balor? dretch?) then go ahead. I'll even let you decide with the advance knowledge of whatever happens next... (Vizeran is gonna cast a big one) (DONE)

At least two of Kaylyn's blasts slam into the demon, seeming to punch through the powerful demon's hide.
Sekkar draws on his own nature-based magic and strikes two more swift blows, felling one of the festering bulezau and wounding the minotaur, before gliding like a shadow around the edge of the cavern to the other side of the balor.
Now more protected than ever, the drow mage holds his staff high and begins a powerful incantation. With a sudden, subtle, strange whiff of lavender, the wizard's spell radiates out, and the five demons in the heart of the battle are each drawn toward a small black mote, which seems to be sucking them out of existence...

Screaming and flailing their tails and scraping the ground with their claws, the four goat-headed bulezau are dragged into the tiny black specks and disappear from view, leaving on the black motes hovering in the air. The balor however seems to almost swat the magical speck aside, although he turns and glares at the drow mage, probably blaming him for the two blasts that struck him as well.
The minotaurs are unaffected by the drow's magic, but the disappearance of the bulezau demons seems to spur them into more of a frenzy. One continues to attempt to gore Pax while the other charges at Rhayna...

Despite the irritation of Kirin's giant magic fist, the balor seems more annoyed by the attacks coming from the west. Seeing only the drow, it moves to get close enough to attack Vizeran with its whip, taking a passing swing at the bothersome lizardman on the way...

The whip howls like the screams of the damned as it flies above the heads of the combatants, but with both the invisible Kleve and the shrouded Kaylyn in the way, the balor cannot hit the mage, and it roars in frustration.
We are back into it! A little brief on the story telling perhaps, but I have a fair bit to catch up on.
One thing I overlooked is the Bigby's hand cast by Kirin. I'm still trying to interpret the spell rules, but it seems that it doesn't block movement, so I've allowed the balor to move through the space that I assume Kirin cast the hand in. I didn't put it on the map this time, but I'll put it in next posting.

Pax swings her drow tentacle rod at the massive demon creature as it tries to walk away from her.

Then, glancing around at all the enemies, she casts Storm Sphere, yelling to Sekkar just before casting the spell, "Sorry Sekkar, get out of the sphere!"
A sphere of whirling air appears in the cave, stirring up dust and rocks and buffeting a huge area of enemies....flinging rocks into them and pushing them about.
She points at the balor with her rod and there's a sudden spark of lightning in the sphere that blasts at the balor with a sharp crack.
Attack: 20 Damage: 20 lightning damage.
Difficult terrain for all creatures inside the sphere. Each creature in the sphere must make a Strength DC 16 save or take 4 bludgeoning damage. Any creatures ending their turn in the sphere also must make a save or take 2d6 more bludgeoning damage. Disadvantage on listening perception checks inside the sphere. (forgot to apply bless to my attacks. Don't think it matters, but for the AC 12 hit : 1. If I need it for any other hit, go ahead and roll it for me or let me know and i'll roll.)

The sudden underground storm batters the dretches as well as Sekkar and the tridrone, but the larger creatures seem to be able to weather it without fuss. However the action is getting a little too fierce for the modrons, and at Rhayna's protective advice, they move toward the edge of the cave...

Pax swings her drow tentacle rod at the massive demon creature as it tries to walk away from her.

Then, glancing around at all the enemies, she casts Storm Sphere, yelling to Sekkar just before casting the spell, "Sorry Sekkar, get out of the sphere!"
A sphere of whirling air appears in the cave, stirring up dust and rocks and buffeting a huge area of enemies....flinging rocks into them and pushing them about.
She points at the balor with her rod and there's a sudden spark of lightning in the sphere that blasts at the balor with a sharp crack.

Any creatures ending their turn in the sphere also must make a save or take 2d6 more bludgeoning damage. Disadvantage on listening perception checks inside the sphere. Kirin cast Cone of Cold from his staff of power trying to get the Balor, Minotaur and as many small guys as possible, sculpting it around Pax if needed then move towards the upper left corner/
