Mal looks on with growing dismay as the weird ghost bunny creature jumps into Grenk, Shit, another one I need to worry about now, I wonder when he will "accidentally" attack one of us.
"Are we done here now and shall we continue to hunt for these skeleton key creatures?" Mal asks
With the trap solved, it seems the floor of this room is now "inactive" and the panels no longer click. There is a hole in the ceiling leading up into blackness, and some holes in the wall over there looking through into another hallway, but definitely no secret door there. Otherwise, you have to backtrack through the waterfall. The crazy man with the trident stands there looking into the room with wide eyes. He babbles for a bit. Badger seems to be listening to voices and watching Grenk with concern. Grenk seems to be eyeing Badger with a grin.

Grenk with a grin shrugs his shoulders. "I guess we keep looking for keys... We either go up..." he says and looks up "or we go back."
His eyes don't leave Badger as he smiles and slowly raises his hand to his forehead. Something is grip and gets pressed there. When Grenk lets go and moves his hand, a unicorn horn is affixed to his forehead.
Badger glares at Grenk disapprovingly. How dare that oaf slap his hand away? The great lunk doesn't know the first thing about magic, and now he's playing with this magic horn like it's a toy! Badger casts Detect Magic to see what kind of aura if any is on the horn.

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
The strange unicorn wavers with..... all magic. Every aura of magic seems to waver chaotically across its surface as if battling each other for supremacy.
Mal looks up the shaft and then shakes her head, "Yea I don't trust this place to climb up this tunnel, we might as well go back and decide on another route to go." She says as she moves to the entrance of the room.
The rest of the group silently follows her. They move back to the hallway with the waterfall, which is still dried up, and through it. There is a crawlspace here that they have not investigated. As well, back down the other dead end is another crawlway. The man, now that he can see, points them out, and babbles a bit about them. He clearly doesn't trust them. Otherwise the passage leads all the way back to the main stairway and other options you haven't explored.
Just to recap, here are the levels and what you've discovered. The big green dots are places you've seen that you haven't gone. This is from top floor to the very bottom floor.
Looking up and down the stairway, Badger sighs, rubs his nose and then says to the others: We might as well continue to explore this level until we locate the key, says Badger. I suppose it makes sense to investigate the larger corridors before resorting to the probably-more-dangerous crawlways. Let's try that corridor over there. And he points toward the one that leaves the stairwell on this level, but waits for the others to go first.
Especially he waits for Grenk to pass, so that he can keep an eye on him. Something funny was going on there. If Badger heard right, it's almost like he 'invited' the spirit to possess him. And from everything Badger had seen, Grenk detested ghosts and spirits. He would have to be watched closely...

How does a red dragon blow out the candles on its birthday cake?
The group leaves the two crawl-ways behind and heads back to the main stairway, taking the walkway around to the right all the way around to the mouth of the ten foot wide passage leading away from the stairs. Small eyes in the strange purple mold follow you as you walk. At the mouth of the hallway you peer down. Two hulking figures stand in alcoves along this long hall, facing each other. Armor is bolted to their flesh, and they wear bucket helms and spiked gauntlets. Iron collars around their necks are connected by a spiked chain that stretches across the corridor. Beyond them, you see a passage leading off to the right, and at the end of the hallway a set of double doors.

I hope this isn't too meta, but I notice there is a marker in the stairwell on this level called 7C, with what looks like something on the wall. I also note that there is a similar one on the level above at 7B, which corresponds to a plaque we saw with some cryptic clues. Could 7C possibly be another such plaque? I thought this a reasonable request since we have to walk past it to get to the corridor just described, and it's the sort of thing Badger would be interested in.
I also notice there is a 7A, but it looks as though we haven't walked past that yet. I also see a 7D on the 4th level, but I think we walked nearby and not quite past it.
Here are the clues we have collected so far:
Fear the night when the forsaken one seizes death’s mantle and the seas dry up and the dead rise and I, Acererak the Eternal, reap the world of the living. Those who dare enter take heed: The enemies oppose. (Gods with opposing personalities) One stands between them. (Unkh neutral) In darkness, it hides. (Unkh block was hidden) Don the mask or be seen. (In the eye-room) Speak no truth to the doomed child. ?? The keys turn on the inside only. ??
The ring is a path to another tomb. (walk upside-down ring) The dead abhor sunlight. ?? Only a jewel can tame the frog. ?? Bow as the dead god intoned. ?? Into darkness descend. ??

Grenk started down the hallway at the two hulking creatures. His hand went over to the bow and then down to his arrows. He frowned realizing how few of them he actually had left and put it away and pulled out the sword and shield again. "We going to take those things out?" Grenk asks.
