Sir Darak stares at the massive skeleton and the skull of the dragon. It's definitely... a dragon. What type he can't tell from the bones.
He examines the vegetation around the door. It seems clear that the plants have died from some type of poisonous substance.
Silas pauses, reconsidering his descent upon Sir Darak's warning. (let me know if you still go in).
Yroc looks at Sir Darak with a less than pleased look on his face when he mentions disease to Silas, and puts his hands out to either side in an expression of "what the crap?"

Sickle says, “If I take a few minutes I can learn more about the nature of this.” He will take time to cast Detect Poison and Disease as a ritual. “It’s very possible there is poison on the other side of this door if we do get it open.”
Silas ends up in the water as well, walking around examining the area.
You detect numerous diseases and poisons all around you, as you would any given day in the jungle. The diseases in the water below are multiplied by ten, as is most disease in or around water. You figure a nick in that water and you'd end up with some parasites or something else nasty. You sense trace amounts of poison covering the whole door, but can get no better sense of any other poison beyond it. The trace poison on the door seems...once to have been extremely potent. Though it doesn't pose a danger now, it appears to be a gas born contact poison that could probably kill any one of you, were it at full power and in the air. Now, it's all but inert.
Several tiny thuds can be felt against Yroc, Sir Darak, and Silas' legs as they wander in the water, but whatever is trying to get at them, can't get through their leggings.

Sir Darak Darkhall: Drawing on his years of experience as a Deep Warden, the Knight examines the scene again with this additional information in mind. Deep in thought, he begins to piece together a theory. Believing to have deduced what happened here, he finally says, "I believe these goblins were killed by this Dragon, but the beast also succumbed to its wounds. The only reason I can think of for the goblins to risk such an assault is either self-preservation or treasure. This suggests the pit to be one of the Dragon's lairs."
Pointing toward the skeleton, he continues, "As we are in a jungle, I believe this likely to be a Green Dragon. The presence of poisonous gas all but confirms this. It must have killed these vines with it's breath, but why? It only exposes the secret door. The goblins would have just cut the vines, so the vines must have grown long after this battle took place. The poison upon the door is perhaps meant to prevent anyone from opening it? Also preventing the vines from growing, but as I understand, a Green Dragon's poison must be inhaled or make direct contact. A coating upon the door would do little to dissuade thieves."
In conclusion, he says, "There may not be a mundane means of opening this door. Do any of you sense the presence of magic upon it?"
Badger spends a few minutes casting dice and performing some ritual movements and then glances down at the stone door. “Much as I’d thought, it is magical.”

DM, do I see anything poisonous perhaps I could put on this door? Mushrooms, vines?
Sickle looks around. With a few minutes here he should be able to produce a poison quickly enough. The group waits. The jungle is quiet, birds chirping, and frogs croaking from below. Insects buzz about accented with the occasional slap. Yroc, sir darak, and Silas have clambered out of the pit while they wait.
A few minutes later sickle presents a small tin cup with mashed weeds and flower bits, mixed with a bit of water. The poison won’t serve an arrow tip or anything, but it’s certainly poison. The three descend and sir darak steps forward, tossing the cups contents on the wall.
A moment passes and nothing seems to happen, but then the wall begins to grind open. It swings slowly outwards. A grotto behind is revealed. A slanting passage leads upwards about twenty feet to a dead end. A pile of miscellaneous gear and treasure greets the groups eyes.

With no traps detected through Sickles spell, you advance and investigate. You find a purse made from triceratops hide containing 55 gold, 800 silver, and three blue quartz rings each worth 10gp. A box made from two interlocked velociraptor skulls which contains two diamonds, each worth 500 gold, and a vibrant purple prism that is magical. The box is probably worth 12 gold. A hollow dinosaur bone contains six magical arrows. There is also a magical cape folded nicely and wrapped in a very large leaf.

Time is something we do not have much of," Silas stated as he looks at the treasure before picking up a diamond, "Before one would come from the dead with such a gem. Now this gem is just a valuable gem for what coin it can bring," Silas will drop the diamond back into the heap, "The cape and prism may be of greater value in these lands but remember we have people praying, begging and even cursing for this death curse to lift. We can not invest time unwisely.,"

Sickle nods at Silas’s reminder. There was indeed a lot at stake here, and the pressure was enormous. Still, it was nice to feel success for once after their recent struggles.
While Badger worked his magic over the items and the rest of the party got ready to go, Sickle joined Sir Darak at his request to double check the passage. “Perhaps this was just a dry place for the dragon to keep their hoard.” He casts Produce Flame to light up the room with the flame in his hand and looks around.
