In the midst of dodging and weaving Edmond stumbles, off balance.  His opponent seizes the opportunity and hits Edmond on the side of his helmet.  Edmond falls unconscious, like a sack of potatoes.

"Broken strings!" Hymnal curses. "Two friends down, and Hymnal doesn't have much magic left in him. Why did Hymnal do that stupid prank?" He cups his hands around his mouth and shouts to the party: "Grab Edmond and the trap-breaker! We must retreat!" Then, as an afterthought: "But do it with some style this time, hey?"

Hymnal runs to the spot I indicated and plays a single chord on his lute. "Hey, ugly! Why did the fey cross the road? To get to the other sidhe!"  I cast Tasha's Hideous Laughter on Goblin 3.

Finnian muttered a curse under his breath, they were dropping like flies! "If we can't put them down soon we need to run, someone grab the wounded!" Moving towards Rilvar, Finnian noticed the the untouched goblin skulking at the back of the little warband. It was foolish, perhaps even childish, but Finnian wasn't the sort of man who wanted to let their attackers get away unscathed. Gathering almost the last of his magical power, he repeated the same spell as before, this time sending it straight for Goblin 4.

Then he once more threw himself prone. Smaller target and all that.

Ice Knife hit and damage: 14 Damage: 6

the ice knife exploded sending shards of ice towards Goblin 4 and Goblin 5, killing Goblin 5.

Goblin 4 got a critical strike against Finnian, knocking him out.
