Alek breathed a heavy sigh of relief as they finally managed to overwhelm the bandit leader. This fight had been challenging and this whole affair could have gone horribly wrong, if they hadn't worked together properly. "Good Job, friends!", He exclaimed, his voice definitely elated by the latest turn of events. After a brief pause to catch his breath he went towards the surviving bandit, finally demanding a few answers. "Just what is going down here. Explain yourself!", he said with a distinctively aggressive tone. "We want answers and we want them now."
Marlo practically collapses, falling back on his behind, his hands on his knees, as he takes in a deep, relieved sigh. "I say, friends. We live to fight on another day. I can tell I will not be bored with you lot."
Orgen walks towards the bandit leader and picks him up, fireman carrying him. "Let's get this guy back to our base and lock him up, then we can question him. Also, take the weapons and goods you can find down here and load it into the wagon. We get paid well, but it never hurts to make extra cash. I claim the armor that we found in the other room. He says walking with the man on his shoulder.
(OOC: the smuggler is not all that badly hurt, he was spelled into cowering and then you tied him up... Also, sorry for the delay in posting, had a bad weekend with the dog tearing his ACL around his knee and needing an emergency vet visit. Back online now though...)
Give me an intimidation check if you want to question the smuggler here. You can do so with advantage.
If you are doing something different, does that include not going any further in this area? I see Orgen is already considering heading back out, but there is a tunnel leading forward...
Belle leans against a wall, more than a bit relieved the battle is done. "Wow..." She says as she pushes her chocolate hair back behind an ear. "I guess we should make sure some of those we took down are ok, right?" She glances around at the group. "I mean we should get them all back to town to see what the watch wants to do with them, right?"
"I feel more comfortable question this one in the tower than doing it here. I hate to be in the middle of integration and be surprised, plus we need to take what we can get now and gear up for the next part," says Ogren
"If you think taht is best..." Belle says with a shrug.
Tell me what you are doing. Orgen has the wizard over his shoulder, prepared to carry him out. What is everyone else doing? Belle is going to go with whatever the rest wish to do...
Marlo, eager to leave this place, agrees that taking their prisoner back to the Tower for interrogation would be best. "Yes, certainly don't want to loiter about here and get ambushed, do we?"
Alek nods in agreement. "It seems reasonable for us to get out of here and question him in the Tower. After all we can return at any time we want if the need arises."
You find the way back easily enough and come out to where the smuggler's home base was located. The area with the bunks and foot lockers. Moving on to the cellar you come to the stairs up to the house above. The dead body still lays here, wearing its full plate armor and with the weapons laying close by. do you do anything here or keep moving?
"Can someone grab that sword and plate armor for me? My hands are kind of full at the moment. We might also want to bring this poor soul back with us as well," says Ogren
Alek casted another Eldritch Blast, this time hurling it at the last remaining foe that still stood. Attack: 18 Dmg: 6
Orgen prepares an action to grab the last bandit if Dezlo spell fails.
Dormark Calling of Strahd (warforged cleric) 4

He falls prone and grovels... The group is able to capture him and tie him up...

Lupin reloads his big crossbow and stands in front of the bandit leader. He points his waepon directly into one of bandita eye. He smiles:
'Juzt gimme reazon me not pull da trigga'

Lupin votes for going back to home aka The Tower
