Seruk decides to try out a new spell and raises a hand, summoning up a small cloud of dust around the zombies which rapidly turns into a swirling storm surrounding the zombies, the edge about a foot away from the building extending outward. He then points to one and snaps his fingers as a bolt of lighting strikes at it.
Action: Storm Sphere: Each creature in the sphere when it appears or that ends its turn there must succeed on a Strength saving throw or take 8 bludgeoning damage. The sphere’s space is difficult terrain.
Bonus Action to strike within sphere: Attack: 16 Damage: 17 lightning damage.

Aria Sinks a crossbow bolt into the back of one of the zombies trying to break in the front door of the building.
patrice Sends an arrow into the same zombie as Aria, taking that zombie out.
Reginald Sends two bullets into a single zombie, staggering it... The zombie drops, failing the DC 19 Con save to remain at 1 HP.
Seruk Only one zombie remains with the group by the front door, the other two are inside the smaller door they broke open. As the storm cloud swirls into existance the zombie caught in it manages to resist getting battered around. (Rolled 21 on the save.) A lightning blast slams into that zombie then, rocking it on its feet but not dropping it. (Still has 6 HP left.)
Last Tree Standing Last Tree drops the final of the 3 zombies that were by the front door, the zombie failing the check to remain at 1 hp.
wraith Two shadowy figures... Appear and move to confront the group. One moves to Seruk and... Life Drain. Melee Weapon Attack: 8 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 20 necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or its hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
The second moves to Reginald... Life Drain. Melee Weapon Attack: 24 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 22 necrotic damage. The target must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or its hit point maximum is reduced by an amount equal to the damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest. The target dies if this effect reduces its hit point maximum to 0.
zombies The two remaining zombies move out of the door they broke in and towards the companions. Neither can reach you this round and both have to enter the storm to move towards you. Both take damage from the storm, as they are battered around.

(Not sure if Reginald and Seruk are close enough for the two wraiths to be within range, if not, just disregard the damage to the second.)
Seruk ignites the silvered runes on his blade with green flame and slashes at the wraith in front of him, attempting to send the extra flame to the one attack Reginald. He then glances at one of the zombies in the storm and sends another blast of lighting.
Green-Flame Blade: Attack: 27 Damage: 13+1 fire, plus 10 fire to the second if close enough.
Last Tree Standing fires at whatever wraith might still be standing.
Attack: 31 Damage: 20
Attack: 16 Damage: 9
Plus 8 Colossus Slayer damage if the wraith is below max HP.

The above two posts alone will take out the wraith and the last zombie. We'll call it and be out of combat. I'm going to have to up the danger level, this was suppose to be a deadly combat for you guys, and you ended it in two rounds...
The wraith and last zombie fall to the combined attacks of the group.
A cheer comes from inside the building, and the front door is thrown open. "Best get in here, in case more of them be coming." A voice calls out. What do you do?
"If any more show up, we will handle them!" Last Tree Standing promises, going to enter the building.

Reginald Each zombie bears a brand on its forehead in the shape of a skull. They ahve nothing of value on them.
Wayside Inn The current owner of the Wayside Inn is Martisha Vinetalker, a striking half-elf whose pleasing features contrast with her tough demeanor. She is cold, calculating, charismatic, and knows how to run a business with ruthless efficiency and an eye for profit. The bartender is Backes Dunfield, a human with a scarred face and a crooked smile. He started working for Martisha six months ago and quickly proved himself a valuable lieutenant. The cook is Cooragh Struckt, a half-orc who has been a close friend and confidante of Martisha for many years. Cooragh is famous for her incredibly tasty, and alarmingly well-spiced, stews and meat pies.
It is Backes that opened the door to let the group inside. He waves you to a seat as the door is rebarred.
Martisha is thankful, but not ebullient in her praise or her rewards. She offers you food for your efforts, but not drink or lodging.
Backes and the other occupants, however, make sure you drink for free this night. A traveling merchant also offers to pay for your lodging for the evening.
Martisha sits in the corner at a lone table, poring over records and watching the business. She answers any attempts at conversation curtly.
Backes keeps the ale flowing all night for the adventurers. He tells them that he gave up a life as a privateer (that is, a pirate) to get into business on land. He works the bar and assists Martisha, but he hopes to someday open his own place in Neverwinter or Waterdeep. He wears a pendant around his neck in the shape of a trident, which he says the crew of his last ship wore as a way to appease the many sea gods.
Cooragh only emerges from the kitchen long enough to thank the adventurers and give them a piece of her special pork pie. It is very spicy, but delicious for those who can stomach the burn. On her neck, beneath each ear, are tattoos of curved daggers. If asked, she admits she got them because she knew it would upset her mother, a human from Luskan. It was a foolish youthful folly, she says.
The smith who works at the Wayside Inn smithy is a strapping woman called Teega who can wield a hammer in each hand like a titan. Her anvil is forged in the shape of a dolphin, and at night she drinks at the bar with the other patrons. She met Backes after his life as a pirate ended, and she hopes to join him in setting up a business in a city at some point. She makes jewelry in her spare time and wears a set of bronze bracers shaped like three lightning bolts. She proudly displays three suits of plate armor that she created, each bearing the same symbol as the design of her bracers.
A young halfling named Silla Scalesweep sits at a table, humming to herself. She is traveling from Neverwinter to Leilon, hoping to get hired on as a fisher by Valdi Estapaar, the woman in charge of the fishery in the town. She wears her long hair in five braids atop her head, and she is very talkative. She also plays the harmonica quite well and is keen to have an audience.
Tarbin Tul is a traveling bard who wanders the High Road, seeking new songs to add to his already impressive repertoire. Tarbin sits by the fire, singing along to Silla’s ditties on the harmonica. He gladly buys a drink for anyone who helped drive off the undead.
The rest of the inn has travelers and staff. There are servers, farmers who work small fields nearby that supply the inn with food in return for protection and shelter on the inn’s land, farmers who provide meat and milk, and other laborers.
Reginald thanks all those for their generosity and happily drinks ale all night long, turning to Martisha and introducing the group he asks her, "So what was that all about? was it just a random attack or have these attacks been going on?"
Stigr accepts the food and sits near enough to his friends to listen in while he begins the ritual of reading his spell book and drawing in its magic to replace what he'd used.
Aria takes aim with her crossbow and fires at one of the zombies.
Attack: 18 Damage: 6
(As a bonus action, she'll give bardic inspiration to Patrice)

Seruk dismisses his little storm and moves towards the building, looking to see if his companions follow.
(Just don't overdo it like another DM in a game is doing, I swear he's aiming for a TPK. He already had to hand of god a way out of one fight so far.)
Reginald will keep watch while the group goes to the building to see if anything else is moving around the area.
