"Well, seems there are dangers down here to watch out for..." Melady says as she nods at the dead monsters. She seems quite impressed with the way the group handled the threat quickly and easily. "Are we ready to move onward again?" She asks the others. "If so I can scout ahead with the imp..."
Maximus will focus on his holy symbol and then channel his divinity and heal both Samantha and Trinister for 15 points each thanking them for defending the rest of the group.
As he begins wrapping the rapidly healing wound on his arm with muslin cloth from his pack, Trin signals Owlix to go ahead and ice the grick corpses with Dragons breath.
"No use in wasting msgic. Stand back, please." Trin calls out to the group. Owlix blasts the gricks with a cone of frosty wind, hardening their soft flesh, looking less now like the flesh of an octopus and more akin to the skin of an eggplant. Sheathing his rapier and trading it for a shortsword, Trin slashes open the alpha grick's abdomen with a long quick cut, disemboweling the creature. The massive worm's gut spills onto the dungeon's stone floor and Trin looks over the pile of entrails to find the stomach, which he slashes open to reveal the reeking half-digested flesh of whatever the worm's last prey had been.
"There might be something shiny in this mess, but I'm more curious to see what these things are feeding on down here. These animals are pretty large, and there seem to be plenty of them, so whatever they're eating, there must be an awful lot of it."
Stigr will nod to Melady, "Sounds good to me, my imp can help you stay quiet and keep an eye out. We can also keep in touch in case you find something."
In the alpha's belly you find spider and goblin pieces, but nothing of value.
As Melady and the Imp head on South, they pass by the stairs, and the empty campsite you spotted when you first came down those stairs. She continues on South, coming to another place where this tunnel runs on South, but another tunnel runs East. She waits there for the others to arrive. Does the imp wait or scout one of the two passages?
Melady looks around the intersection for anything of interest or that might tell her about the two passages.

Perception: 25
Melady notices a secret passage in the West wall of the intersection, but does not open it until the group has arrived.
"There is a secret door there." She announces as the others catch up.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
After cleaning the blade of his sword, Trin will follow the others, catching up just as Melady points out the obfuscated portal. "... Goblins and spiders! How fascinating..."
"A hidden doorway!" he exclaimed with great relish. "Can you tell how it opens? I have a trick for that, but even when it works, it is rather cacophonous. That might attract some unwanted attention. Maybe we can find a triggering mechanism"
Trin is able to figure out how the door opens and Melady verifies it does not appear to be trapped.
This dusty room is hidden behind a secret door disguised to look like a plain section of wall.
Embedded in the middle of the room’s north wall is a stone arch, its frame engraved with images of falling coins. The arch’s keystone has a tiny slot in it.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Stigr will examine the arch and slot, "Anyone have any ideas? I'm tempted to drop a few coins down, just out of curiousity, but does anyone else have any better ideas first?"
"it was just a guess. We could try a gold piece or something." Trin suggests.
He draws gold coin from his purse and stretches to reach the slot in the keystone. Realizing he can't quite make it, he hands the coin to Owlix, who takes it with his beak. Keeping his shortsword sheathed, he raises Owlix aloft, perched on the crossguard. The owl cranes his neck to drop the golden coin in the slot.

Samantha bows to Maximus. "Thank you."
I have an intelligence of six, I know what I'm doing.
Stigr will nod to Melady, "Sounds good to me, my imp can help you stay quiet and keep an eye out. We can also keep in touch in case you find something."
Rurik lets a laugh echo in the room as he watches Trin go to work on the beast.
“I think ya got it....it may be dead now. Hahaha.”
Rurik will nod an agreement to Melady. “I’ll let ya enjoy the company of that imp, and me and Shadowlight won’t be far behind ya.”
Rurik and Shadowlight will give about a 20-25’ gap before following.
Trin...

The imp will scout about 50 feet down each of the other passages while waiting for everyone to catch up and investigate the secret door.
When he catches up, Stigr will help examine the door if needed, both to find a latch or trigger and to determine if it is trapped.
Trin is able to figure out how the door opens and Melady verifies it does not appear to be trapped.

"A place this old, it probably takes Electrum." Turning to the hoardesperson, Trin asks, "do you have any on hand?"
Stigr pauses for a moment, then roots around in his pouch, "Looks like no. Copper, silver, gold and platinum, but no electrum."
Samantha shakes her head. "I don't have any electrum either."

“Well I guess we got no access to this then, haha,” Rurik responds.
