“As we are approaching potential hostiles do you have a recommendation on marching order Walt?” Barinthus says taking a look at the group and adding, “without knowing more about your specialty I would say you should be leading from the rear as you are likely our most talented healer, I am a war mage so am usually best placed in the middle.”
" myself, Norlean and Rurik usually charge in and bash heads whilst you magic guys zap the bad guys from behind us. Stop thief generally sneaks in first with Mache to get a good sneaky attack when they are not expecting. Been working pretty good so far. Grunt can stay near the rear so he doesnt get mistaken for a bad guy, but just in case remember he is wearing a Company of Dragons badge of approval" we will let him get a kick or two in on the bully once the two head jerk is down"
Walt would look to Barinthus and shake his head. "While I might be capable of healing others... I prefer to keep my wards safe from danger to begin with" he would say as he glances towards his companions. "I might be a cleric... but i'm a war cleric... and I would prefer to keep myself in between threats and those I protect" Walt would add with a stubborn expression on his face. "Now which of you needs the most protection. I'll make sure I keep an eye on you the most... " he would say looking to the others. \
(OOC: I can use my reaction to make attacks target me instead of my ward.. but it takes an action to change my ward to if you can tell me who has the lowest AC or HP, I can try to stay close to them and make attacks that would hit them target me instead...)
Ok, as you continue on towards the corner, who is leading? Which of the scouts is going first, and what is that scout's passive perception score?
(I am gathering passive perceptions myself, but have not gotten it for everyone as of yet, but will do so when I get time today.)
Also the hall is 10 feet wide and 10 feet tall. It is well-lit by the candles, so Secundus will have a hard time staying in shadow, it is pretty much impossible unless something is done to the candles first.
"Yes blob good clean." Grunt agrees. "No go through when blob here..." He says though, looking a bit worriedly around. "Wait till blob gone... Maybe wait many days..."
Walt would nod to Barinthus and then look to Grunt. "Sure, stay within arms length of me small one... I intend to be out towards the front.. so stay close and duck behind me if things get out of hand.." The old cleric would say walking forward. "Keep you eyes peeled for this... blob.. " He would add as his heavy boots stomp along the stone floor.
(OOC: Walt would try to always be leading the way unless we are specifically sending someone forward to scout.)
“Let’s move on from here shall we?”
Rurik tells Shadowlight to go quietly down the hall to see if he can identify that smell.

“Donkee said it well enough. Shadowlight should hopefully have found a little fun for us.”
Ellya retrieves the thrown stone.
[OOC: How wide is the hall ahead?]
Secundus seeks a shadow in the wall to sneak into for invisibility's sake. Mache continues his invisible sleuthing.

When walt asks who needs the most protection, Grunt slowly raises his hand...then quickly pulls it back down.
"Long way from big boss yet." Grunt informs the group as they discuss the bully. "Just blob here..."

Saying quickly to Walt, “I don’t need extra protection.” Barinthus then turns to Grunt asking, “does blob keep this area clean?”

Assuming everyone is going to be staying within 30 feet of Ellya anyway... Let me know if that is wrong.
