"Did you fools really have to cause ANOTHER cave-in? Geez, and just when I thought we had enough problems down here..." Continuing to grumble, Cas makes is way toward the Eastern Door and begins to work on the pulley system. "Ugh, if you're all going to be here anyway, do ya mind making yourselves useful and helping me out over here?"
“Well, that was revolting. What’s going on? Nusas saw a big explosion of dust and thought you might need some extra assistance”
You see a tall elf with a lute slung over one shoulder, who manages to appear elegantly poised despite being covered in dust and debris from the cave-in.
"Hrmf, just a bunch of figures that turned to life the moment I touched them and are now broken on the floor a few rooms back, and also this poisonous amber gas. Now stop pissing me off"
Cas continues fumbling with the pulley mechanism, using a rope and pitons that he seems to just pull out of his cloak to construct it
(btw) the person talking to you is dressed in all black, with a black cloak wrapped around him. He appears to be human, but when you look closely at his face, it almost looks like it's changing a bit, as if his annoyance is causing him to lose a bit of control and causing his body to shift into something that emulates that... but that must just be your imagination... right?)

You would notice that, as you dig out the silt, it simply drifts back into the area from the stairs. It has the consistancy of quicksand. digging it out does not seem to be making a difference.
"That doesn't seem to be helping. Come here and help me with this, I just finished the pulley." Cas says as he finishes setting up the makeshift pulley

Once before the spell ends, the target can roll a d4 and add the number rolled to one ability check of its choice. It can roll the die before or after making the ability check. The spell then ends.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“I believe that would suit my talents rather more than displays of brute strength”
Universal speech roll: 1 - the crab, crayfish, Sinsil, Larry and Shieldbiter can understand Rik for the next 10 minutes, no matter what language he uses. Which is Common for the moment.
“Dear sir - I do hope you can aid us. We are seeking to find out more about this place, and to find our way out. Any information you’re able to share would be gratefully received”
"Hey, hey, hey, who or what do we have here?" Shieldbiter asks after hearing the commotion from the eastern door.

The elf’s voice is fruity and lyrical “I don’t do manual labour, but for lack of another option...”
Flicking a hand, Rik summons a leaf-covered mage hand and starts scooping out 10lb of mud at a time.
“Found anything interesting so far?”
