Even with her blades doing only partial damage, Opal manages to hew down the undead creature before it could get back to its feet. It stops trying to get up and falls to the gorund unmoving.b
Combat is over. What is everyone doing?
Sinsil casts a spell and makes a floating hand appear, picking up the amulet from the floor.
“Well, that was bracing. I think I’ll be a little more cautious with that spell in future. Did it have anything we should take with us? Anything else in the dome?”
Rik doesn’t make any effort to get closer - in fact, he makes sure he has a clear path to the newly discovered door.
Zubin's bleeding has lessened. He returns to the group and says firmly, " I'm not leaving without that lamp, even if it kills me. Which it almost did. It MUST be special." He scoops it up and examines it.
Shieldbiter sheathes his sword and gives a good look over at the creature. "Well that was an interesting fight. I wonder if he was some sort of guardian over this place, and of what? Just a lamp? Maybe you're right Zubin, maybe it is indeed something of value. Shall we exit now?" Shieldbiter begins moving back toward the door that he unbarred.
Sinsil retrieves the amulet and gives it to the hoardsperson. Then moves to the door. "Shall we continue?" She'll have her servant lift the bar if no one has.
Opal moves over to where the secret door opened in the floor (giving entrance to the guardian). He wants to see if he can open it again to look inside.

Zubin smiles wryly at Rik's exhortation. "I'm trying!" Despite the glib response, Zubin relaxes visibly as the bard's magic washes over him. "Thank you, my friend."
Opal is able to see into the chamber, since it never closed again. It is just a hole in the ground with some rotted arrows and a rotted longbow inside of it. Clearly the undead thing had been locked in there for a long long time.
Shieldbiter places the armor and sword into the lockbox. The amulet he holds up and asks, “Anyone able to identify this? Use this? Or I can just toss it into the box for the franchise to discuss later.”
“Sounds good,” Shieldbiter says as he drops it into the lockbox and closes it up. “Let’s get a move on.” and he takes a swig from his flask and steps back towards the door, opens it and walks through.
(While this has all been going on, can Sinsil take the minute and cast animate dead on one of the bone piles/something that looks like a viable humanoid corpse?)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zubin catches up to Shieldbiter, his gait much stronger than it was a few moments ago. "Good Swagmeister," he calls, proffering the lamp. "Would you please hold this until our fair Documistriss can be prevailed upon to analyse it?"
He, too, peers down the hallway during the exchange.

Only if you want to wait now that the creature is dead, since you could not do that and cast your other spells, such as Mage Hand and such earlier. People are moving through the door, so you need to stop them if you want to take time to animate a skeleton...

The lamp does not appear to have any magical qualities, though it appears well-made and maybe of some sort of artistic or religious value.
Shieldbiter, are you checking over the corpse for things or just looking at it from a distance like Rik?
(As Rik’s turn didn’t happen, he’ll still cast healing word on Zubin now the immediate fight is over)
“Zubin! Stop bleeding!”

Investigation 11
Sinsil retrieves the amulet and gives it to the hoardsperson. Then moves to the door. "Shall we continue?" She'll have her servant lift the bar if no one has.
shieldbiter finds:
1 set of damaged Studded Leather armor.
1 long sword - appearing of ancient make.
1 amulet, that feels magical, and looks exactly the same as the one Sinsil picked up with her magical hand.
Sinsil would find the bar already removed, as Shieldbiter did that already.
Opal moves over to where the secret door opened in the floor (giving entrance to the guardian). He wants to see if he can open it again to look inside.

"I can identify the items, but only after we escape this gas."

So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.
