"Let me help with the door" Cas moves forward, pulling his Thieves' tools out of his cloak and attempts to pick the lock
Thieves tools: 29
Cas makes the complicated lock seem like child's play. Half way through he notices a trap set and is able to disarm it as well. The lock click open as he finishes.
"Maybe we should find out what the door has to say before we open it," suggests the half-elf. "Especially since we haven't figured out the mystery of these urns yet. Unless we know what's waiting for us." He turn to Sinsil. "Any luck with those glyphs?"
"Hrmf, easy." Cas smirks a bit as the lock clicks open, before carefully and quietly opening the door and peering inside
Stealth: 26
Perception: 22
Let's hold there until everyone else decides what they are doing. I know some are looking at the urns and it took you a bit to actually do the lock, so they have time to do what they want before you open the door.
Sinsil is going to catalog the findings and the actions everyone is taking. (Maybe she should have been a documancer.) She's already contributed what she feels is adequate and will sit off to the side. She will add in a superior tone however. "Let me know if the door is too complicated for you."
Cas, realising what is about to happen quickly turns around and reaches into his cloak, ready to pull out whatever he needs to from his bag of holding (It's in a custom-sewn pouch inside his cloak)

So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.
Shieldbiter picks up an urn looks at it one last time and then chucks it to the opposite corner from where everyone is standing trying to attempt to break it against the wall.
As Shieldbiter throws the urn, it shatters on the far wall, lamp oil spilling across the wall and splattering anyone close by.
"What did you do that for?" Ethan asks in a puzzled tone. he walks up to the next urn and taps the top with a fist. "All you need to do is break the seal here... You don't need to break the urns themselves you know."
Zubin smiles wryly. "I guess if this Tloques-Popolocas is like the night, his followers needed lots of lamp oil." More seriously he adds, "Who knows? Perhaps we will, too."
Behind the doors is a chamber cut out of the rock with a veil of calcite and stalactites covering the walls. Buttresses rise from the corners, brown shot through with black, and triangular stone pillars support the high ceiling. Occupying the center of the chamber is a colossal monument resembling a giant’s table, covered on all sides with intricate carvings and glyphs. Engraved on the floor in front of the entrance is a seal that displays more glyphs. Opposite the entrance, a battleaxe is embedded in the wall, six feet above the floor.

”If no one wants to take a crack at these urns, I’m probably just gonna break one open. Any takers before I break it open in 3...2...1...?
Larry will cast Detect Evil and Good
First taking a look at the urns and following it the door that Cas is opening.
You detect none of the things the spell can detect.
Rik is going to edge out of the room before anyone breaks a jar and summons some kind of revenant.
Shieldbiter, does not look like anyone is going to stop you, so go for it. Ethan will stand back, weapon at the ready, just in case...

Zubin also stands with his weapons at the ready as he watches the dragonborn.

Sinsil will watch to see if the urn breaks.

“Well, who knew? Ha, guess I can be a bit more careful with these two.”
He goes to open the others.
Larry holds his concentration on Detect Evil and Good carefully looking at the urns after they are shattered or opened.
Larry will inspect the lamp oil that spilled from the urn. Investigation0
There are six urns... Each of them, minus the one you broke now, contains the equivalen of 20 flasks of oil. Each urn weighs 25 pounds filled.
Larry does not need a check to recognize normal lamp oil.
Zubin smiles wryly. "I guess if this Tloques-Popolocas is like the night, his followers needed lots of lamp oil." More seriously he adds, "Who knows? Perhaps we will, too."
As Cas opens the doors, you find the following...
