It is now Shieldbiter's turn... Rik will be up after that, with Larry going last. I still need Opal's Initiative roll, but the actual first round of combat will be starting once we do the last 3 surprise round actions.
Rik, you would have also noticed that the two rings, as well as the bracelets are all magical in nature, just by handling them.
Zubin's eyes narrow suspiciously as the figure in the sarcophagus crumples. If this interrupts the flow just enough, then in one smooth motion he'll quickly put down(!) his swords and scoop up the urn of oil.

Zubin brings the urn to the sarcophagus and brings it down on the creature's head with a two-hand smash, soaking it in oil. "Now let's roast this turkey."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Zubin stoops to collect his weapons and lamp. He coughs into his sleeve, but is loath to leave that fine axe behind. He joins Larry in his examination, and pushes up and down on the handle, trying to budge it.
Investigation: 8
Failing that, he'll take his rope out and tie it where the blade meets the haft. "This isn't funny, Tymora," he mutters wryly.
"Seems onward is our only choice..." Ethan says with a nod down the hall.
As you move onward you come to the room Opal and Cas found earlier...
This room is wet, and the walls are covered with a slimy, white buildup. There is about an inch and a half of water and mud blanketing the floor. Many overturned pedestals and pieces of broken statuary lie on the floor, partially buried in the mud. Opposite the entrance to this room is another door.
Only one pedestal remains standing, in the northwest corner. On it sits a small, metallic, three-sided pyramid. Overhead in the shadow-draped ceiling are inlaid colored tiles depicting a starry sky and forming strange patterns in the areas above the pedestals.
A dark, wet mass clings to the wall above the western door. Upon closer inspection, it appears to be green in color. The mass is a large colony of algae, though it resembles green slime.
Caustic Lime. The walls of this room are heavily coated with caustic lime. Any flesh that comes in contact with this lime will take 1 acid damage per round. The lime must be removed from the skin to stop the damage, and can be either wiped off or washed away.
Treasure. The small pyramid is made of silver (worth 5 gp). It represents the god of the moon and lightning, Apocatequil (A-poe-ka-TAY-kel). The fallen statuary was made of stucco and depicted other Olman gods. These include a coyote, a crab-headed figure, an alligator-headed god, a feathered warrior, and a jaguar.

Nothing you do moves the battleaxe even an inch. It is like it is a part of the wall itself.

And, Ethan's attack seemed to do a lot more damage than Zupin's... An amount that seems inline with what would be expected of the blow.
Initiative: 11
Shieldbiter steps you to the sitting corpse. He finds space where he can make his two attacks in an attempt to cleave the body in half.
Attack 1: 24 Damage: 6
Attack 2: 15 Damage: 12
For Surprise Advantage:
Attack 1: 21 Damage: 12
Attack 2: 21 Damage: 9
As Shieldbiter strikes the undead with his first blow, using his magical long sword, the body falls back into the crypt...
"What do you do now?
“Is that it? Do you guys sense whether or not this is over? I still want to try for that axe. Any ideas of how to remove it?”
“Never trust undead to stay dead - anyone got any radiance or fire, so we can make sure? ”
Rather than trying to cast a spell targeting the thing’s mind, Rik will pull out his rapier and try to stab

"Why don't we just put the mask back and close the tomb?"
Zubin's eyes narrow suspiciously as the figure in the sarcophagus crumples. If this interrupts the flow just enough, then in one smooth motion he'll quickly put down(!) his swords and scoop up the urn of oil.
Ok you have an urn of oil, what ya doin with it?
I was hoping you'd ask.
Zubin brings the urn to the sarcophagus and brings it down on the creature's head with a two-hand smash, soaking it in oil. "Now let's roast this turkey."
Cas pulls out his tinderbox and lights the oil
So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.
“Well, now that that is officially dealt with, how the hell do we get out of here!?”
Larry is going to go over and investigate the Axe in the wall. he will try to apply a little of the oil to see if that will loosen it.
20 investigation roll
Even with the amber haze,, the room is quickly filling with smoke from the burning oil.
On looking at the battleaxe Larry cannot budge it, and the oil seems to have no affect.
Ethan moves out of the chamber, not wishing to breath in the smoke any longer.
Shieldbiter follows Ethan out and comes to his side putting a hand on his shoulder.
“Where to now, forwards or backwards?”
Cas follows them out of the room and beckons the others to follow
