“It’s probably a ritual thing” Rik says to Zubin “Symbolises the hurdles of subjugating natives, and the necessity of teamwork, or something”
Rik looks at the wall, at Shieldbiter, at the stucco rubble, at Sinsil and Larry on the floor, and back to the wall. He considers the physical exercise required to climb an 8ft wall, the indignity of being hoisted up - dismisses it all as sweaty nonsense and uses fey step to teleport into the upper passageway.
Taking a look around, is there anywhere he could anchor a rope? 17 Investigation
Shieldbiter is able to climb up without difficulty, then, between himself and Rik, they are able to anchor the rope between themselves to let the others climb up.
Once you are all up in the tunnel above, you find a short hall that leads to...
Walking North, you pass the head of a bison.
This corridor is high-ceilinged and decorated with sculptures mounted on the walls. Two corridors branch off from the main hall, a narrow one to the east and another to the west. The statuary that adorns the walls consists of four sculpted heads of animals. Each one is six feet above the floor and two to three feet in diameter. Opposite the passage that leads east is the stylized head of a coyote, and across from the hallway going west is the head of a grinning bear. Near the south end of the corridor, the head of a bison is mounted on the east wall.
At the north end of the area, on the west wall, is what appears to be the head of an eagle, with its beak open. Something shines from within the eagle’s mouth.
“I don’t know traps, but that looks like a trap to me” says Rik, gesturing at the Eagle. “What does it trigger? I’m happy to mage-hand the sparkly thing out of there, but only if it’s not going to trigger a flood of lava or whatever.”
As soon as the unseen servant touches the item inside the mouth, which appears to be a very fancy bracelet, the beak on the eagle snaps shut, pinning the unseen servant's arm in place. It deals no damage, but the beak appears to be stuck shut, and the servant is pinned.
"I assume one might be able to pry it open or smash it. If no one else wants to try I have a spell that could work, but muscle is a much more sustainable resource."
Zubin drops his pack and, after rummaging for a moment, produces a crowbar. "Wouldn't this be easier?" he asks. "Perhaps the crow can overcome the eagle." He offers the tool to Shieldbiter.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
“Brilliant! Why didn’t I think of that?! We can give it a whirl.” Shieldbiter accepts the crowbar tossing it up and catching it again in the same hand . Feels right for the job at hand.
You are able to pry the beak open, actually snapping it off in the process. The bracelet falls to the floor with a clatter. As shieldbiter picks it up he feels the jolt of magic in the item.
"Perfect, well done. Shall we add that to the stockpile? Once we get to relative safety, then I can identify them. Unless the risk of a crippling curse is worth the potential reward." Sinsil is trying to sound polite, but it's obvious she wants the first chance to know what the magic items are.
The half-elf chuckles. "Excellent. One more piece of magical shiny." He accepts the crowbar back and stows it. "I'll once again yield to your wisdom, my lady," he responds wryly. Zubin then hefts his pack back to his shoulders and adjusts his satchel. "Now, did someone say something about the bear?"
“Wow that felt intense. Anyone want to hold onto it? Otherwise I’ll pop it in the chest. I’d rather not risk a curse. And Zubin the lady back there pointed us towards the bear for the way out. Shall we?” He begins to walk towards the direction of the grinning bear.
If no one takes the bracelet Shieldbiter will put it in the chest for later inspection.
Sinsil will accept
Larry will also attempt to climb up...1
and fall on his ass...

Rik sees no where to anchor a rope.
Shieldbiter found nothing but dirt in the rubble.

Sinsil, spotting the shining object, will summon another unseen servant to go retrieve it. Since I assume she is too short to reach it.
As soon as the unseen servant touches the item inside the mouth, which appears to be a very fancy bracelet, the beak on the eagle snaps shut, pinning the unseen servant's arm in place. It deals no damage, but the beak appears to be stuck shut, and the servant is pinned.
"Well that's inconvenient." Sinsil says with some annoyance.
“Well do we want to retrieve your servant and the bracelet or just follow the bear?”
“Let’s at least try and see if we can rescue the bracelet - if it’s just a trap to bite the hand of whoever grabs it, it can’t be that complex”
"I assume one might be able to pry it open or smash it. If no one else wants to try I have a spell that could work, but muscle is a much more sustainable resource."
Shieldbiter steps over to it to attempt to pry it open.

So far this session I have hit my teammates twice, flat-out missed 3 times, and only hit the enemy twice. Trust me, you don't want to borrow my dice.

The passage with the bear leads to a massive bronze door.
