Hoodini pops his head out the window and sees three figures. One is a Red Dragonborn wearing wizard's robes ,the other is a hairless giant with milky-white skin, and the third is a massive fiend has thick claws like a lion’s, the broad wings of an eagle, and the legs of a massive canine. Its face is that of a three-eyed wolf with the jaws of a saber-toothed tiger. While two of the thing’s eye sockets are merely empty holes that trickle blood, the middle eye glows a sickly yellow and a cloud of globular soul-stuff cloaks the creature’s hulking body, bits dripping loosely from its barbwire-covered arms.

Courage by some miracle manages to deflect the claws of the lupine creature, but the force of the blow left him staggering right into the swing of the giant. Bloody and bruised, Courage rose again only to nearly topple as one leg began sparking and giving out. "C'mon you piece of junk. Not now!" He slams his fist into the leg a few more times and pops a few pieces back into place.
