As Sora got near, Thilael nodded towards her: Good point let's hold our position for now and see what our friend here has to say.
As soon as Sora took her position in front of Gorarel, Thilael started mumbling something unrecognizable for the others. He then approached Gorarel and placed his hand on her shoulder. At that moment a surge of energy enveloped her creating a protective armour around her body.

Hearing the loud thud from the north side of the house Liliana swears colourfully before turning to the midwife. "Change of plans, it doesn't sound like my companions have managed to draw the manticore too far away. I'm going to back them up but if you see an opportunity to run then do so. Stay to the south and run to village".
Opening the door she sneaks round to the northern side of the building.

Seeing her companions facing off against the manticore she readies her bow. If the manticore take one aggressive action to any of her companions she will use a sneak attack to stick an arrow in the creatures back.
The Manticore sees itself getting surrounded as Sora and Sindrall approach, then Liliana exits the mill with a loud squeak and knocks over a metal bucket as she rounds the corner of the building. The skinny half-elf doesn't look too tasty, but she seems the easiest target. With a low growl, the Manticore jumps at Liliana.
Sora gets an attack of opportunity at this point, and Liliana can release the readied attack, too (no sneak damage).

As the glaive cuts deep into its thigh and arrow lodges into its shoulder, the Manticore falls, more than lands, in a heap on top of Liliana, paws reaching to grab her. Liliana tries to escape by twisting and turning, but the Manticore manages to get a good grip and takes to the air towards South. The wounds and the weight appear to slow it down and after 20 ft it lands and tries to take off again.

Entering the ground level of the mill, you see a large round grinding mechanism in the centre, a work table spanning the western wall, a cupboard next to it in the northern wall, a chair and a ladder leading to the level above. There is a wicker basket half full with dried mushrooms next to the grinder, and two more on the table, covered with lids. On a stone stand next to the entrance there's a small fire and a metal pot of almost boiling water. At first glance, it looks like the fire is coming out of the stone. Adabra pours boiling water over fresh mint leaves in a metal cup and hands it over to Gorarel. "Harbin sent you, didn't he? That weasel... he knows well enough that I need the mill for my work. What am I going to do in Phandalin? I won't be able to produce new medicine. But you make a good point... I could stay in Phandalin for a few days and see how things evolve."
