Adray gave a grim smile and pat to Chior and Fran. "Preciate the concern. Outside the some soreness and exhaustion, I'm doing all right." He looked at the unicorn and nodded. "That, saving a life, makes it worth while. Plus we got some powerful backing now... maybe."
"Book," Choir repeats urgently. "Blood of Tiamat. Break the contract!" She repeats the words the Dao spoke when he broke his own contract. "Free Elturel!"

Adray scratches his head..."Choir, are you saying that we do what was done here... No, we could do with... No, don't tell me. I have no idea if she can see or here anything that is going on." He gives a slight shiver. "I can literally feel her gaze upon me. Anyways," Adray said and pointed at Mooncolor, "Enjoy the victory today and we will worry about me tomorrow. Now, more than anything, I need some food, and some rest."
Ordrag isn't the sharpest tool, and a bit slow on the uptake, but he does remember a book... who had that book? was it someone under Valthampur mansion? Was it the priest in the temple in Elturel? Someone had a book that contained the contract that bound Elturel to hell. He turns to Choir and slowly repeats his thoughts... So, pouring a devil's blood on the book with the contract will break the contract? And return Elturel to the world? Right?
That was probably a question batter asked to a devil. Choir might be able to repeat the words - little doubts here - but details could matter. Still, should the idea prove sound, there was a great choice between powerful three of Avernus - Zariel, Tiamat and Bel. All you had to do is to convince one of them to share the blood.
Mooncolor graciously accepted care. Now, free from the energy-sucking field, he was getting better by the minutes. Restoration did help - even if Akadi did not speak directly in this place, her light was with Choir, and Lulu's aura - now brighter than ever - seemed to wash away worries, that Polly could not clean up off the creature.
The Unicorn obviously preferred company of Fran, Polly and Choir to those of Ordrag, but only preferred. With Adray, though... You could see that Mooncolor was trying to be grateful - no, he was grateful, but the man terrified him. "I am sorry!" the voice in Adray's head did sound sad and apologetic. The Unicorn refused to come too close to the Tormentor as well and kept the safe distance.
That "night" Mooncolor stayed outside the hut (he would not fit in it with Tormentor any way), Lulu stayed with him. And in the middle of the rest it seemed group's luck finally run out. Lulu burst inside the hut like a tiny tornado: "Danger! Demons! And devils!"
Indeed, at the still fair distance squads of creatures could be seen, all slowly moving in your direction. It seemed both sides got curious about disappearance of the Demon Zapper and the demon graveyard was about to turn into a battlefield.
((You did not get a long rest - only short. Adray, 1 level of exhaustion))
Adray had passed out almost immediately as he closed his eyes, his body just to tired. As he drifted into that dream state, he began to sweat and toss and turn. In his dream he kept reliving the pain and from the ritual while 5 pairs of eyes stared at him from the shadows.
Bolting awake, he touched his chest as the symbol, still raw twinges in pain. Catching his breath he says, "Alright, everyone one we moving out now. Mooncolor, you can either try and ride on top, or follow us close by."
Choir relaxes in the back seat, glad that at least Ordrag seemed to understand her idea. Of course, it might not be easy to find another bottle of Tiamat's blood, even with Adray now being an insider of the dragon cult. And they would have to go back and get the book from Pherria somehow. Well, maybe the deal with Zariel's Sword will work out, but it's good to have a backup plan.
She enjoys the scenery for a change. It's still Hell, but now it at least has a unicorn trotting through it.

“Oh, oh!” Polly says brightly. “I could reduce Mooncolor! Or, or... Or I could enlarge Tormentor!”
She thinks on it a moment and then cautiously adds “Orrrrrr.... I could just Polymorph Moonie into something else... If that’s ok with you, Mooncolor?”
"I beg you not to!" heard Polly in her head meeting terrified gaze of the unicorn. "I will run after your ... contraption and will do my best to keep up." The unicorn even made a few steps back indicating by any possible means unwillingness to be transformed.
It did not take long to get into the machine - once Brutus took it's place at the back, others just needed to jump in and another race begun! Lulu was flying this time keeping Mooncolor company, and keeping an eye on the danger as well.
Two groups of differently deformed creatures were closing on each other while Tormentor with the unicorn in tow rushed out as an arrow sent straight to the .... the direction seemed wrong but at the moment it did not matter - escaping was more important. Neither devils nor demons did not rush, and the look of a warmachine was a common sight in this place, still, the shining light of the unicorn, even not amplified by the magical sphere, attracted demons like moths. At least those that were closer and had wings to see the creature from above. Three big grey shadows left the main group and change direction with an obvious intention to undercut Tormentor. What's worse - they were fast. At least faster than Mooncolor.
Choir looks out the window at the evil creatures with the undeserved wings. She wonders if a spell will help discourage them. (How far away are the winged demons? And are they close together?)

"Flyers coming in hot. Knock them out of the sky if you can!" Adray hollers out as he drives. He hopes that the unicorn survives lest his future troubles were for nothing.
Chasing demons are about 300ft away, but they are coming fast and their shape and size... Those who studied demons in Candlekeep begin to suspect, these flying monsters are "Vrocks", quite unpleasant sort.
The rest of the hoard does not seem to care but now ahead of you you can see several other warmachines. It is hard to say from this distance, but the machine at the head of the strangers is a bit too far from the rest, as if being not just followed, but chased.
Rules for chase:
Participants in the chase are strongly motivated to use the Dash action every round. Pursuers who stop to cast spells and make attacks run the risk of losing their quarry, and a quarry that does so is likely to be caught.
Dashing
During the chase, a participant can freely use the Dash action a number of times equal to 3 + its Constitution modifier. Each additional Dash action it takes during the chase requires the creature to succeed on a DC 10 Constitution check at the end of its turn or gain one level of exhaustion.
A participant drops out of the chase if its exhaustion reaches level 5, since its speed becomes 0. A creature can remove the levels of exhaustion it gained during the chase by finishing a short or long rest.
Spells and Attacks
A chase participant can make attacks and cast spells against other creatures within range. Apply the normal rules for cover, terrain, and so on to the attacks and spells.
Chase participants can’t normally make opportunity attacks against each other, since they are all assumed to be moving in the same direction at the same time. However, participants can still be the targets of opportunity attacks from creatures not participating in the chase. For example, adventurers who chase a thief past a gang of thugs in an alley might provoke opportunity attacks from the thugs.
(A very crude (but huge) scheme with one square to be 30ft. Your speed at the moment 50ft (demons seemed to be a bit faster))

Choir thinks the demons are just in range to unleash some tempest at them. She casts Ice Storm for 12 bludgeoning plus 17 cold damage, half on a dex save of DC 16.
