(That would be round 3 for Choir (takes action) but Ordrag has time)
Adray meanwhile succeed (short sword left a deep cut and next fist strike made the blood spill from the wound). "Brute" helped with everything he could:
Attack: 17 Damage: 9
Attack: 17 Damage: 6
Vendetta, keeping her distance, added another whip crack: Attack: 20 Damage: 4
The huge club went down on the man's shoulder - you could hear the loud unnerving sound of broken bones - but the next moment the cultist lifted his "broken" hand grinning with a wide skull-like grin. The brute grunted and spit on the floor: "You are still dead, Vaaz, there is no way out of here". Vaaz grinned again: "Who said I am looking for one, Mortlock? I am not the one afraid of death." His voice was cold rough and as terrifying as his bloodied dagger.
The brute - apparently Mortlock - caught Choir's movement from the corner of his eye: "Keep your distance, little one, he is deadly up close", the words made Vaaz laugh with even more appalling frightening laughter.

Fran would squat to drop Polly to the ground in place before springing forward to Odrag. The artificer will start some speedy bandage maneuvers, "Yer time is not yet." She'd mutter. She'll also look around to see if her daggers are within reach for a possible snatch and dash.

Ordrag opened his eyes wisely not attracting attention of Vaaz. It helped that this time Polly hit and cultist did not shrug the damage leaving burned wound on the open - he was busy with his other two opponents. Vaaz glared at Adray (Wisdom save, please), sending a jolt of cold over his body. Then he attracted - Mortlock.

Choir missed, but while Vaaz was attacking Mortlock, quiet and very angry Ordrag raised up behind him with both blades ready to attack:
Attack: 18 Damage: 4
Attack: 11 Damage: 7
Mortlock was not that quiet and with a loud grunting crashed his club into the cultist's chest:
Attack: 17 Damage: 8
Attack: 9 Damage: 7
Vendetta continued "biting" Vaaz with her whip caful not to come too close.
Attack: 15 Damage: 3
And yet again - the wound left by Mortlock's club suddenly disappeared, but he had satisfaction of watching weapons of others leave the marks on cultist's body.
Cultist Vaaz is heavily bleeding from numerous wounds and probably close to his death, but so is Mortlock.
"Aye let me patch that up fer ya real quick..." Fran would reach over to their new brute companion to bandage him up. Once done she'd give him a friendly pat before she scurries around to get some distance to prepare her crossbow for the next round if needed.

Polly's spell fizzled half way to the cultist, and Vaaz did not even look at her direction, having a collection of attackers right in front of him. He stared at Ordrag (Wis save: 10 ) freezing him in place, and attacked still stunned Adray:

Mortlock leaned heavily on his club, catching his breath:
"I do not know who you are, but I thank you wholeheartedly. Vaaz meant to kill me here. Thank goodness he liked to play with his prey! Very sorry about your friend here. The other one will be fine in a second."
Indeed, very soon Ordrag was able to move and talk.
Polly walks over to the others. “We’ve been clearing this place out of the vermin.”Polly say with disgust. “It’s a good thing we made it to you in time, warrior. Do you know what is happening down here? I presume you belong to the upperclass citizens, we found a few others as well, but I don’t think we got your name.”
"Mortlock Vanthampur, that is who he is," the voice belonged to Vendetta. The man cringed at the sound of his name and gave a heavy sign. Some of you probably still remember from orientation that Duke Vanthampur - the member of Council of Four, which governs Baldur's Gate - is at the head of the ongoing power straggle (and unofficial owner of the fine establishment you are in). Vendetta looked at the man without much sympathy but with no disgust or aggression either. The man was ... well, some would out right say "ugly" - huge heavy frame, appearance of a seasoned brute, a nasty scar across all left side of the face. Yet, he did not look savage and expression on his face could be described as thoughtful.
"Your girl is right. I did not try to hide my name or deceive you... You would get it anyway. If you came that far and were fighting the cultists - I guess most of the leaders of the cult are dead. Good. Even as the one who helped the Order of the Dead Three - I say good riddance!"
"Now, hear me out before you judge. I am, indeed, Mortlock Vanthampur, third son of Duke Vanthampur - my mother. Do not let that word - mother - deceive you. I am not her dear beloved child, but a questionable asset as most of the people around. That catacombs," he looked around with distaste in his eyes, "she found it some time ago, concealed with the bathhouse and let the cultists in. Nurtured them, helped with all she could - all for one purpose, to prove Flaming First is useless and have to leave the city. Then Baldur's Gate would be hers."
"Almost worked, you know? She was the one insisting on sending Flaming Fist leader Duke Ulder Ravengard away to Elturel. Where he disappeared with the city itself, if you believe my mother - and I do - it went straight to Nine Hells. Literally. And if I know my mother - I am sure I do, enough anyway - I'd say this is the end goal of these all - the Nine Hells trip for Baldur's Gate itself."
Elturel had been sent to the nine hells? Did that make it the tenth hell? Whatever the priests and the cab drivers called it, Choir thought that Elturel was far too nice to be a hell.
Baldur's Gate, on the other hand...
"The beautiful city of Elturel," she said in the voice of the high priestess, and followed it up with an angry halfling shouting, "Oy! I want that back!"

Fran will go right to Adray and begin bandaging him up. She'd help him up when he comes back to conciousness, giving him a good ol' clap on the back. "Aye. Welcome back."
Adary remains laying on the cold, wet ground. Safe at least, with the group finishing off the cultist and Choir's healing power preventing him from bleeding out. While out, memories of his father flooded his mind. Memories he had tried blocking out with the whole trouble with Elturel.
----
A tall man in simple robes moved about the large room in a following, graceful manner. His feet fell silently, body turning quickly, almost like he was dancing. Several men stood around him at attention. One with a sword, one with a spear, and a third with a cross bow. They bowed slightly and the man turned to him. "Watch now son, and don't blink or you miss it all. "
With a slight now, the room became a whirlwind of motion. The man with the spear rushed in and issued a series of thrusts. His father, turning his body sideways, moved every so slightly back and forth causing the spear to just miss him. With a last thrust, dodged the blow and stepped forward. Using the mans forward momentum he delivered two quick strikes and a third open palm strike to the mans chest causing him to fly back a dozen or so feet. From his father's blind spot came a downward strike of a sword. With a slight spinning motion he stepped and grabbed the mans arm. He shifted his weight and up ended the man to a heap on the floor.
*click* came the only warning as crossbow released it's bolt. The bolt sailed through the air with incredible speed. Little Adray couldn't see what happened but in this memory and the experiences he's had since, he could see what happened. His father's hands dashed up, snatched the bolt from it's path and quick as lightning he had snapped his hand back launching the bolt back at the man striking his crossbow but causing no harm. Giving a slight yelp of surprise, the man dropped the crossbow.
---
The blackness faded and soon he felt something cold and wet upon his back and faint voices. Slowly they became louder and he painfully, slowly, sat up. Putting his hand to his head he said, "I almost died again, yeah, almost died... but we won right?"
OOC: Not sure why but the text box is being wonky, It won't let me get rid of the the italics after using it.
