“Let’s move to the tower,” says Salhana, nodding. “The tower and gatehouse guards generally look out, not in. In the morning, someone should try to convince Ord of our position. I... can’t do it. We... had a fling once.”

When handed back her sword, Celtra was astounded. With that display from earlier she half expected a recruit to steel away her sword and hide it. Greatfully accepting it back, she straps it back onto her side. When Bryn commented on the panther she stopped a moment. "Wait, that panther was yours. Well hot damn, has he been following us from the shoreline?"
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Fulcra says with confidence, "He likes me, I can do it."
Fulcra looks to get a moment with Ord. "Ord. Good news. We have orders from your superiors to replace the commander with Salhana. Bad news. We gave those orders to the commander by accident. If he's read them, he may have destroyed them. If he hasn't, well, we still have a chance. Either way. He's doin a shit job I gotta say. If he gets uppity, can we count on you to try and help save everyone's lives here? Cause, if he keeps his job, everyone here is is going to end up more screwed than the only harlot at port lonely after a ship shows up thats full of sailors who've been out to see for a month. I feel like I could do a better job with that one. But, that's probably not important right now. What's important is knowing you're with us if things get confrontationalistic. That's a word. Don't look it up. So...what do you think?"
Taman keeps a watch out as th eothers do their sneaking nad talking. He knows neither of those is his strength, but he is good at keeping an eye out, so that is what he did. Standing outside the twoer and watchign for any strange movements of guards or such.
Fulcra and the panther stride purposefully away, liquid muscle flowing next to Confidence Extraordinaire (with a red shirt, too). As they head off, Taman spots a couple of the guards in the southwest tower climb down the ladder attached, heads peeking back in your direction, before entering the bottom of that tower partway. Their heads poke back at you before a new head pops out scrutinizing you. That head is half-elven, pointy bearded and eared.
"Ahhhh," snarls Ord. "I'm with ye and my lass as well. But the Ol' Breakbone... they don't call him that fer nuthin'. He won't go down without a fight. Even if somebody needs to take him down in Trial by Combat." Old grabs a great axe nearby in his tent, tosses it onto his shoulder. "Let's go lad."
Bryn pads her way easily along the mud-crusted walls in shadow, to a point where she can dart through a hole in torch coverage and bolt slippedy-pawed under the canvas of the tent. It's wonderfully dark in here, no light at all, as you slink around the inside of the perimeter... looking... looking...
Her head perked up, "Trial by combat? Now that that is a custom that I am familiar with, but hopefully he'll just step down." She then continues to look around fully expecting one man to start yelling and charging out at any moment.
In your high-contrast black and white dark vision, you note the messages opened, on the table, with a pile of ashes nearby. You also see, sitting in the darkness, Commander Breakbone sitting with his loaded crossbow, scanning the darkness from where he sits on his bed, pointed toward the closed tent flap.
Fulcra walks blissfully towards the commanders tent followed by Ord and Salhana, confident they've got the power of right on their side, plus a majority of the camp. He glances at the watch towers with a touch of nervousness before reaching the commanders tent. He turns to Ord and Salhana and whispers, "Start the conversation, if I see the messages, I'll try to use magic to sneak them away. If he's read them, then I just guess we see how it goes."
He stands to the side to allow them to ask for entrance into the tent.

Bryn will scratch a post on her way around the table and slink out the bottom canvas of the tent to draw his crossbow away from the entrance of the tent. She’ll flick her tail to ruffle the canvas to keep his attention to where she left. She would circle around to find Fulcra, brush against his leg and look up. Bryn panther will force a couple sneezes to shake her head in a wild attempt to communicate the messages have been open.
Moving with the others to the commander's tent Taman leans in. "Ware the tower, they are acting like something is up..." He nods to where the half-elf was watching them recently, with the two who were suppose to be on guard duty out of sight now. "I'd be surprised if the commander has not already read this message, and be prepared for something like this..." He keep his voice low so only to be heard by the three close by. He would then send Sabastian into the tent to have a look around, after casting guidance on him..
[Sorry, somehow we crossed posts] Sebastian was inside as Bryn was leaving. He saw the panther’s tail swish the canvas, the Commander’s head snap to it after, and the firing of the crossbow. this has all just happened, anyone w 18 or higher init can move/act before the Commander. [there is no way the commander will see Seb]
A growl will start in Bryn’s throat, “Bryn panther stealth to grab it? Can also cause commotion for someone else if better?”
