She starts down the chimney, Cimeri following behind, and Fulcra last.
Celtra, Bryn, Taz, and Taman head for the cliff edge. Taman and Taz kneel down on the rock, readying magic incantations. Celtra rapels twenty feet down to the edge of the cave opening, and nods to Bryn. The panther deftly pounces to the side and down, bouncing into the cave entrance as Celtra pushes off the rock and swings inside; Fulcra quietly lands next to Cimeri and Azaka, who see Bryn and Celtra appear, blocking the light at the cave entrance.
[Roll initiative, all. Bryn/Celtra you are 30 ft from the first four Terrorfolk, positioned in a line that blocks the entire cave wideth. Fulcra, Azaka, and Cimeri are ten feet, and unnoticed, from four other Terrorfolk, who block most of the width of the cave. Four more terrorfolk are in-between both groups of Terrorfolk. ]
Fulcra crouches in the cave, his black hair hanging messily over his eyes as he takes in the details of the cave. The rippling muscles of the panther at the mouth cave each seem to bunch and release in slow motion as time seems to slow down. A water droplet hangs in the air, fallen from above, the image from the cave inverted in its wavering watery surface. The darkness around Fulcra seems to slowly swell and wrap around his legs and arms as he eyes their foes, anticipating the sudden violent clash that is about to occur, his eyes searching for the first foe that he'll curse to certain doom. The moment seems to stretch to eternity as he draws the shadowy forces that he'll need to battle to himself. His eyes cast over with blackness. He is ready.

[The Pterafolk will be surprised no matter what, so you all go first, then they go. It'll be Celtra, Bryn, Cimeri, Azaka, Taman (tie goes to higher Dex), then Fulcra, Taz, then Pterafolk. Next turn, Pterafolk will go right after Azaka.

Bryn would slink into the shadows after Celtra’s advance to position herself in a flanking position before she strikes.

Bite if the target fails: 20 Damage: 6
Pounce. If the panther moves at least 20 feet straight toward a creature and then hits it with a claw attack on the same turn, that target must succeed on a DC 12 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone. If the target is prone, the panther can make one bite attack against it as a bonus action.
Fulcra seems to get a crazy look in his eyes, but then notices how large the massive shadows of the creatures are. He was expecting things a bit smaller than himself....these things were massive! Taking pause, he curses the nearest one with his dark power and then blasts it with a bolt of shadowy force instead of his usual fire. (Hexblade's Curse)

Celtra slashes into a terror folk and smashes forward with her shoulder, knocking it to the ground. Bryn tries to slash a second, but misses, as two arrows fly over her head to pierce the creature, shot by Tasmagarra. Cimeri stabs into another and spins out a roundhouse kick that knocks its head aside. Azaka joins Cimeri, two vicious slashes, the first connecting, the second missing. Fulcra, feeling the bless of Taman, manages to unleash an eldritch blast directly in the face of a terror folk, who shrieks in rage back at him...
(Thought this was the surprise round, so some of us should get another, regular-round, action before they get to act, right? I.E. we go into initiative order now for the actual first round of the battle, surprise round is now over...)
[This is so strange; I recall several times watching vids on this concept and it being explained that surprise just puts you essentially at initiative 0, that you still get to act. Researching it now, Taman is absolutely right, the TFolk cannot attack this round. Maybe I should make my own tutorial to decry these others who keep saying 'there is no surprise round'; that seems a lot like a surprise round to me. Anyway, Celtra is up then!]
(Maybe the initiative 0 justs gives you a free action at initiative 0, everyone going at once, then the round actually starts. Seems like just having it as a round all by itself is easier to handle though...)

Celtra will nod at Bryn panther and calmly move forward. With sword in hand she will pick the center most terrorfolk and slice at at the hamstring.
