"A hallway goes this way." Leon says, coming back to the group. "What about the other way?" While waiting for a response he turns his attention to the rest of the room, checking for anything else of interest...
"Any preference for one hall over the other?" Leon asks the group after finishing helping to check the bodies. "If not, then we should just pick one and head that way, we can always check out the other direction later on..."
He says " Absolutely" he proceeds into the left room. The masonry walls of this twenty-foot-wide hall are in poor repair. The far end has collapsed, filling the southern section with rubble. The western wall is in much better shape than the other walls, and it holds a stone door with a rearing dragon carved in relief on it. The door has a single keyhole, situated in the rearing dragon's open mouth.

"I don't see any traps, but unlocking this door won't be easy. Skill alone might not suffice this time. I wonder if it has some magical trigger..."

If Trystan doesn't get any more info and his companions fail to open it, too, he'll say: "When I see a dragon, I think fire. Make way, let's see if fire opens this path.", and he'll send a Fire Bolt at the keyhole.
I’m having trouble envisioning the adventure unfold, and with PBP I find that’s paramount to an enjoyable game. It’s like we’re just going through the motions. When we can keep up, that is.

Leon investigation if that is needed instead... 15
Gracias, Investigation reveals that the four goblins have been dead for quite a while, and rats have gnawed at them. The bodies have been looted.
Which way did you all decide to go on?

Zak says " I pick the left one"
"Left it is then..." Leon says with a nod to Zak. "Turning to the more agile of their company. "You want to scout the path ahead once more?"

"That is some craftsmanship. We should check for traps again." Trystan carefully approaches the door checking for traps.

I can tell you it is a mechanical lock but only magical ability individuals would be able to get this one

(I can't seem to keep up the posting pace here. Can Tolroc also investigate the lock or will it just lead to the same conclusion?)
(I get the same feeling atm, but we should settle on a pace that fits everyone soon, at least that's how it was with my other campaings)
Leon goes to look at the rubble, seeing if there is a way through or if anything is in the rubble.

Totally 100% agree with the pacing.

Not sure I’m feeling this to be honest.
Curious how everyone else is feeling.

You hear squeaking come from the rubble.
