The goblins start gibbering quietly in fear, cringing away from the heavily armed strangers. One of them looks like they might be crying. They begin trying to edge around you all to escape.
The stream bubbles out of the mouth of the cave, filling the air with the sound of trickling water. The cave roof is about 20 feet above you, and there are stalagmites and stalagtites dotted around. Irregular patches of rock form a kind of staircase as you climb into the cave. About 20 feet ahead the cave curves to the right.
As Vinras peeks his head round the corner, he sees a flash of white fangs inches in front of his eyes. An explosion of barking fills the cave as three chained wolves start throwing themselves in your direction, snarling and drooling. The chains bring them up short just out of range, but they’re blocking your path.

Vinras jumps back a raising his shield, “By the Heavens!” He said startled keeping his distance from the wolves and to the others, “Any ideas besides killing them?”

Irena nodded to herself as she recognized the wolf from earlier. "Think we should try to free them?" She murmured to Amshoon "I don't like to see animals abused like this, but then I don't want them to start attacking random travelers for revenge."
Vinras comes up and looks at the others, “Nice grabs!”

Irena snickered. "Well, that works too." She murmured, "So, into the cave then?"
Vinras readies his sword and shield and nods to them, "Into the cave then." He takes the lead to move into the cave.

“I think animals are animals one way or another. Best not to lay crimes at its feet that haven’t happened.”
